Where to stay in Kuldiga

One of the best hotel stays I have had in a long time! The staff was absolutely wonderful, helpful, and very communicative. Accommodations were simple and had everything I needed for my stay. As I traveled by bike, the staff went above and beyond by allowing me to keep my bike inside and help me prepare for the next leg of my journey. I would give 10 stars if possible!

The room itself was ok, but it seems that all of the walls are made of paper and you can hear everyone through them

The hotel is nice and the breakfast was lovely. What bothered me was that the air conditioner was really loud and we couldn't turn it off, also the double bed had only one blanket and there weren't more blankets in the room. The location is perfect tho.

Ok place to stay on the budget as interior needs a bit to be updated. Breakfast is continental however pancakes were great.

Room: mansarda room with bed for two people located under a roof, so second tersom could not stand up from the bed without risk of hitting the roof by his head. Wall between room and WC is made of glass and completely transparent, which is a very questionable choice, which isn't only ruin some privacy matters but also when someone is visiting WC at night and turn the light on in three - illuminates...

Fantastic place to stay during your trip. Comfy bed and all nice and clean. You can prepare hot drinks in your room. Interesting area.

Hotel is pretty good. Rooms are clean and nice. Two things worth to mention: location is not what you expect for such place and rooms sound isolation is pretty bad.

In general very nice muiža, even tho it is surrounded by old hrisčovkas. Rooms are well decorated, but mansard room felt a bit claustrophobic. Completely transparent bathroom looks cool, be ready to feel uncomfortable when one person want to go to the toilet, but other is sitting on a couch right across the transparent wall.

Super hotel in a modern old fashioned way. Great family room, quiet and resting place. Breakfast is a bit short though

Old world charm, good and bad. The room for was spacious and had that unique Kuldīga old/modern feel. Breakfast spread was great, with good coffee, a great selection of meats and cheeses, fresh eggs, breads and cereals. However facilities were substandard. There was only mildly lukewarm water in the shower, which is unacceptable for a purportedly 3star hotel.

Stayed two times. Everything is just great! They have parking space in the yard, for a bus there is gree public parking lot in some 3 minutes walk from the hotel. Rooms are clean, newly renovated. Staff is very helpful. Breakfast has quite a good selection and the pastries are so deliciuos! Definetly should have dinner there: food is so sophisticated, portions are big and prices good.

Nice place. Clean, spacious, great location, very good price. Nice staff. Good breakfast and dinner. The only thing that was not amazing was beds. Our room had two separate beds that provided somewhat mixed sleeping experience, not bad, just a bit weird.

Newly renovated rooms!! They were changing the roof of the building, so... its going to be even better. The staff is very polite!! There is a private parking for the visitors of the hotel. The breakfast was super! Great place to stay!

I can only rate the restaurant, as i didn't stay here at the hotel. The staff was very friendly and the food was fantastic! I had the fried chicken in a mango-chilli sauce, roasted potatoes and some salad. The chicken was delicious, the sauce incredible and the salad simply great. The potatoes are as you know it covered with a salty/spicy powder of spices. It's a lot of food for 8 Eur and it was delicious...

Not unfriendly, but a bit indifferent service. The location is great, looking out onto the street, in a quiet area. The single room I had, with a great view over the front door, was nice, but a bit overpriced for what it was. I don't know about the rooms in the newer section, behind the restaurant. There was a bad odor in the room, though I couldn't find the source. My biggest complaint was the service...

Cozy place to spend a good weekend

Quite small but beautiful place for spending holiday

Excellent location, modern, cozy and clean rooms, great staff and wonderful breakfast (served in a Restaurant across the street). Only small minus, quite bad sound isolation, but as there were not many guests it wasn't an issue.

Small but romantic hotell in old heart of Kuldiga. Alekšupīte under rooms window gives unique experience.

Quaint and comfy place. The Gambling Hall Next Door might upset a little These with Light Sleep. Reception is 60 m Away across the Main square.

Great spot. Clean and warm, Private shower and very close to the old town city center. Confortable beds , fridge in the room atc.. great choice.

Nice place. Not too fancy but all the necessary stuff was there + perfectly located. Many toys that our son appreciated a looot.

Kuldiga is very beautiful town in Latvia, rivers and houses are very beautiful. Viesu Nams Pupa is very good place to sleep over nights, here is toys to children and public kitchen to all Viesu Nams Pupa visitors.

This was a great stay in the small city of Kuldiga. Really clean, brand new, and comfortable beds.

Very nice owner, let us leave car wherever we want to and even choose the room. Best value for this price.

The best place to organize a large gatherings. There is a lot to do here and you can bring a lot of things with you.

Interesting garden, but worth working

Very nice owner! Open to communication, the main thing is to wake up and talk about everything! Very happy that we were able to come with our dog! We will definitely have a photo session of our family there :)

Amazing hostel to stay at. Location is simply breathing and just a minute away from Ventas Rumba. The rooms are clean and staff very helpful and kind. However it was rather hot in the room and once opened the window a bunch of mosquitos flew in which made the sleeping a bit complicated. (When we stayed over it was around +30 outside so understandable )

Nice location on a beautiful place. The view is priceless. That's why I gave four points. Unfortunatly the host lady was everything else but not friendly and the toilets were on the edge. But still a very nice place and worth the visit.

Must visit if you are in Latvian countryside. Wide view and the bridge across makes the landscape very picturesque. Might be a good spot for a sim during the summer.

European widest waterfall has to be seen! :)

Nice scenery in a cute, small town. Did not go swim given we arrived late afternoon but lots of people were enjoying the water and jumping from the waterfall's top.

Perfect stay in this beautiful house, the place upstairs is spaceful, well heated and well equipped, not far from the center of this amazing small town of Kuldīga

All was good. Friendly owners. Room had its own entrance. Comfy place, private bathroom.

Very nice hostess. The room is clean and spacious enough. There is a small refrigerator and kettle in the room. The kitchen is at the bottom, but you need to agree to use it. You can also sit outside, there is a barbecue.

The reservation was possible within 2 weeks. A very great host welcomed us. A person with perfect taste in furnishing the Lux cabin, very clean, tidy and thought of all the little things (first aid kit, shower gels, shampoo, sushi sticks, coffee, netflix). A charming carp pond, with the possibility of fishing. Also entertainment options for the dog in such a beautiful environment. Charming hot tub...

We booked this place for friday night and its amazing. You will find everything you need here. Really quite place and highly recommend to escape from the city. Also you can find beautiful attractions near the guest house. The owners do everything to make your vacation successful.

Amazing location! I stayed 1 night with my partner. Everything was perfect, the view, sleeping arrangements, interior, etc. I am going to be coming back here for a long time. Hosts were very nice as well. The wife spoke good enough English to communicate everything.

The place is out of town but not so far from center. The house is nice but there is a problem with water. The smell of water is disgusting, we could not took a shower.
