Beautiful place! A pre communist manor, that still retains the charm and the esthetic, that was very tastefully turned into a hotel. The place is very well managed, very clean, pet friendly, and welcoming. Start is great! Food is very nice especially breakfast. I would highly recommend for a weekend getaway or and event!

Very nice hotel overall, prices are a bit high for such a building but it’s part of the classic experience. The food was amazing, the pool is great. Backstory to the building is very cool and the view is immaculate!

What an amazing place. Beautiful, historic manor superbly restored. Absolutely beautiful grounds and an amazing kitchen. Our meal on the terrace was one of the best I have had in a very long time. Highly recommended.

Old and beautiful this place is! The manor works as a hotel! There is a small spa area, a sauna and a swimming pool during the summer! A restaurant and beautiful premises where you can have a meal, as well as celebrate important moments in a larger company of people! The restaurant premises are bright with indescribably beautiful pot ovens! There is a beautiful manor park and a deer garden in the area...

Omg! This place is it! Definitely place to visit and eat amazing food! Fantastic service, friendly people and I can say enough food is to die for.

Oh boy! That was a trip in a maze of flavours and textures! I could not say that unexpected, but still amaizing. Large dish with excelent choice of meat. Such an amazing place. We stopped by for lunch on our way from Estonia and were so happy to find such gem. Cosy, stylish modern decor. They have their own farm and all meat come from there, heavenly delicious. Grill meat ( šašliks) and burger were top! Best burger in my life! Our child liked kids corner and huge portion of chicken nuggets. Still under great impression.

World class experience! Owner itself suggested to try special off-menu offer - Osso buco from their self-grown cattle. But be aware that for next couple months they will be open Friday- Sunday. Portion size is more than enough. We actually shared the portion and were barely able to finish it. Highly recommend!

Relatively nice place, but a big minus for dirty sanitary facilities and loud noises from nearby seaport all night. The closest beach is nice but water filled with thick layer of smelly algae.

It is a really nice campsite, the beach is close, cabins are pretty nice, but the tiny tiny minus is that the toilets/showers could be cleaner :) But everything else is Freaking AMAZING!!! Love it!!!

The home was located in a nice quiet spot in the countryside right next to a pond. It was perfect to relax and spend a weekend away from the city. The host was incredibly helpful and kind. We enjoyed using the sauna, hot tub, and grill. Because the home is so isolated, its best to drive a car to the property or to rent one as taxis are not available that far. We hope to come back sometime soon!

We enjoyed our stay, it was much more than we expected. You have everything there, starting from kitchen equipment (even coffee maschine!), outside games like darts, trampoline for kids, you can use boat for a short drive (safety vest available). Super place - you could breathe in the fresh country air, take a boat ride on the pond, run around with a ball in the meadow. In the evening, grill it deliciously and let it bubble to full capacity in the kettle :). Thanks to the host for replenishing our vitamin C reserves with excellent anecdotes. Nice place and owners, good wifi, parking place was available. Not far from the sea, quite place.

Sauna needs to be pre ordered 5 hours ahead, there are just a towel per bed occupant, and pre payment at check in (instead of checkout). Otherwise place is excellent for a guest house. No pool but bbq parties allowed.

Friendly owner and very nice room. A bit pricey though. Beach is at walking distance. Unfortunately other guests were so loud and unsympathetic and they pretended to "own the place". Staff did not intervene.

Maybe the cabin was a little bit outdated, but it was also a cheap and comfortable stay. And the location is fantastic, within 50 meters of the sea.

I would say Saulrieti isn't a hotel. It's more guest house, because in the first floor there are no rooms, there live the host family, on the 2nd floor there was only two rooms, one has absolutely amazing sea view. The hosts are very kind and helpful. House is 100 meters from sea and the beach. Sadly the bar and restaurant in the house was already closed on Saturday evening (18:00h)

Clean, tidy, hospitable and friendly staff. The houses were decorated before the New Year. There is parking. The sea is 5 minutes walk, Saulkrasti center is 15 minutes walk.

Very nice hotel. The main advantage is that is located in the suburban peaceful area. Hotel is very close to the beach, you have to only cross the road and make few steps through the Forrest on the coast. You can also go to the beautiful wooden alley through the cliffs with the beautiful point of view. Rooms are comfortable, cosy and clean. You get basic things which you could need.

Nice, clean rooms and just a 2-3 minute walk to the sea. They recently put air-conditioning in to help with the increasingly warm Latvian summers :) Breakfast is tasty, eggs are cooked to order (poached, fried, scrambled, omelette) and you get bacon, sausage, a dressed salad and some bread with it. Usually some fresh croissants, fresh fruit and at least one coffee. Definitely recommended.

Nice size apartment. Nice king size bed and shower. Balcony. The unfolding sofa though is of a bad quality. Internet worked only in the lobby. Good pizza place on site, but our pizza got burned.

First time visited this amazing place. It was friday and it was busy,but we got our food and drinks out thanks to one amazing waitress with black heir who took good care for us and take order. Never saw such kind person in Latvia. Wanted to take a room,but it was full so i think this place is popular. Next time will visit 100%

We were the only guests, so it was very quiet. Place is a bit run down but it was alright. Did not have hot water in the shower but maybe I just didn't let the water run long enough, though I did try. Payment in cash only. The host encouraged us to use the facilities such as the BBQ etc but we didn't have the energy. Bring a book to read, pack of cards, something to do. We walked to an old pagan place...

Place .... Interesting. In the climate of early Gierek, though more late Gomółki. In Poland, you do not experience such a standard (poor, especially bathroom). A decent rating only because of the nice service and the pond where you can take a bath. If someone is counting on a sauna (which is supposed to be in the facility), then it has to be focused on the fact that its heating lasts at least ... ...

The place is beautiful. Hot water is. Very bad catches a mobile phone. The bed is old, uneven. TV is one common with three Russian channels. There is wi-fi, but the signal is weak, best caught on the street near the doghouse. For breakfast, scrambled eggs, 4 sausages, cookie heels, instant coffee.

We were quite disappointed about pool and sauna access not being included in the price, that could have been made more clear on the website. To book it for 1,5 hours costs a whopping 60€ which is quite ridiculous. Had we known that it wasn’t included we would have chosen to go somewhere else. Overall, the place is not bad, but the location near the highway and railroad makes it a bit noisy. There is a nice place to play pooll in main building with a great view to the lake.

As our accommodation was nearby, we had a dinner in this place. All of us were pleased to their dishes, and even a gluten free dish was good and tasty ( not always the case in Latvia). Fairly reasonable prices. The waitress was also quite attentive, even if we had to wait for the check quite a long time.

5/5 - nice and clean rooms, very friendly staff, good food. The lake is quite shallow at the port (up to waistline) - so dont worry about kids swimming in the lake also. We were allowed to make noise and party and use the sauna etc until the morning, because its in a remote location away from neighbours and also there were no other guests.

Very nice place. Everything is so clean and cozy. There is a sauna which was immediately offered to light. It was a great tub. The host is responsive. Thank him for that. The pond was immediately near the cottage where we stayed and the depth was 1.75 m. The children were in the beam. I definitely recommend relaxing with family and friends.

The guy has an attitude. i think he has mistaken who needs who for his business to be successful. The place is amazing with little houses, parties, for kids, BBQ, sauna, swim, volleyball, and in very handy location.

Power outage between 12 and 14/14:30. I was not told about it in advance. I only found out about it when the power was cut off. The place mostly caters for the cottages, motorhome / caravan places are in the back on a small uneven ground. Expensive place considering that there are no services for caravaners.
