Beautiful place! A pre communist manor, that still retains the charm and the esthetic, that was very tastefully turned into a hotel. The place is very well managed, very clean, pet friendly, and welcoming. Start is great! Food is very nice especially breakfast. I would highly recommend for a weekend getaway or and event!

Very nice hotel overall, prices are a bit high for such a building but it’s part of the classic experience. The food was amazing, the pool is great. Backstory to the building is very cool and the view is immaculate!

Old and beautiful this place is! The manor works as a hotel! There is a small spa area, a sauna and a swimming pool during the summer! A restaurant and beautiful premises where you can have a meal, as well as celebrate important moments in a larger company of people! The restaurant premises are bright with indescribably beautiful pot ovens! There is a beautiful manor park and a deer garden in the area...

Omg! This place is it! Definitely place to visit and eat amazing food! Fantastic service, friendly people and I can say enough food is to die for.

Oh boy! That was a trip in a maze of flavours and textures! I could not say that unexpected, but still amaizing. Large dish with excelent choice of meat. The texture and consistence... it was a roast, that was so well prepared that it started to dissolve by touching and melted as soon as I got it in mouth. Accompanied with nice red wine. BUT wait!!! Such an amazing place. We stopped by for lunch on our way from Estonia and were so happy to find such gem. Cosy, stylish modern decor. They have their own farm and all meat come from there, heavenly delicious. Grill meat ( šašliks) and burger were top! Best burger in my life! Our child liked kids corner and huge portion of chicken nuggets. Still under great impression.

World class experience! Owner itself suggested to try special off-menu offer - Osso buco from their self-grown cattle. But be aware that for next couple months they will be open Friday- Sunday. Portion size is more than enough. We actually shared the portion and were barely able to finish it. Highly recommend!

The home was located in a nice quiet spot in the countryside right next to a pond. It was perfect to relax and spend a weekend away from the city. The host was incredibly helpful and kind. We enjoyed using the sauna, hot tub, and grill. Because the home is so isolated, its best to drive a car to the property or to rent one as taxis are not available that far. We hope to come back sometime soon!

We enjoyed our stay, it was much more than we expected. You have everything there, starting from kitchen equipment (even coffee maschine!), outside games like darts, trampoline for kids, you can use boat for a short drive (safety vest available). If you want to do fishing, than this equipment is not provided and you need to take it with you. For extra cost you can use hot tub and sauna too. This place...

Very nice hotel. The main advantage is that is located in the suburban peaceful area. Hotel is very close to the beach, you have to only cross the road and make few steps through the Forrest on the coast. You can also go to the beautiful wooden alley through the cliffs with the beautiful point of view. Rooms are comfortable, cosy and clean. You get basic things which you could need.

Nice, clean rooms and just a 2-3 minute walk to the sea. They recently put air-conditioning in to help with the increasingly warm Latvian summers :) Breakfast is tasty, eggs are cooked to order (poached, fried, scrambled, omelette) and you get bacon, sausage, a dressed salad and some bread with it. Usually some fresh croissants, fresh fruit and at least one coffee. Definitely recommended.

Nice size apartment. Nice king size bed and shower. Balcony. The unfolding sofa though is of a bad quality. Internet worked only in the lobby. Good pizza place on site, but our pizza got burned.

A fantastic hotel with a seaside just across the road. Staff is super welcoming, the room is clean and spacious. Real value for money!

Overall, the place is not bad, but the location near the highway and railroad makes it a bit noisy. There is a nice place to play pooll in main building with a great view to the lake.

5/5 - nice and clean rooms, very friendly staff, good food. The lake is quite shallow at the port (up to waistline) - so dont worry about kids swimming in the lake also. We were allowed to make noise and party and use the sauna etc until the morning, because its in a remote location away from neighbours and also there were no other guests.

The place is quite nice. It's a close lake, but at the same time, you can walk to the sea coast because it's about 2 kilometres. There are many water entertainment: boats, water bicycles, and scooters. In the restaurant food was quite bad.

I can not comment the rooms as I just dine there. and it’s call a fine dinning ,top notch well presented meals ,clean and safe environment. lake a side with some beanbags to chill less official atmosphere vibe by lake. Staff amazing welcoming, check on you and the meals you order. We personally receive complimentary burger was fabulous grill chef cookie to you 🤗

A very good place to celebrate any event. Quiet location, very responsive and friendly hosts. One of the best guest houses I've ever been to.

Very nice place. Everything is so clean and cozy. There is a sauna which was immediately offered to light. It was a great tub. The host is responsive. Thank him for that. The pond was immediately near the cottage where we stayed and the depth was 1.75 m. The children were in the beam. I definitely recommend relaxing with family and friends.

The guy has an attitude. i think he has mistaken who needs who for his business to be successful. The place is amazing with little houses, parties, for kids, BBQ, sauna, swim, volleyball, and in very handy location.

Power outage between 12 and 14/14:30. I was not told about it in advance. I only found out about it when the power was cut off. The place mostly caters for the cottages, motorhome / caravan places are in the back on a small uneven ground. Expensive place considering that there are no services for caravaners. There is no place to empty the gray water tank and the chemical casette toilet. On the back...

Recommend, cosy for a campsite type

Season special bruscetta with mushrooms was very nice, however pasta with seafood was plain and lacked a proper sauce. The presentation of food was well, but taste wasn't anything too special. However, it is a good place for casual lunch.

The grand S, was a good place to stay. A few things only, the shower had low pressure, but usable and the flooring was really cold (winter time), should bring slippers. Breakfast was good. Good deal for the price and a comfortable stay.

Great restaurant and location next to the Baltic see. Really delicious food and the hotel looked nice. We stayed at one of their cottage houses this summer. In the bigger room beds upstairs had some stains on their matrasses and full with sand. Also because of the high degrees it was not possible to cool down the house and have a sleep. A wonderful place to relax if you come by car from Bulgaria and travel to Turku-Finland. Near the road with convenient parking. Large rooms, large terrace. Good service.

stayed with a family for 4 nights in june 2017 in a two room, sauna, kitchen, terrace cottage. major advice: check first wind not temp forecast if you decide to visit and overnight at the place cause it blows heavily; cottages stand in the open some 50m from the sea with no trees or hills to protect you from the onslaught of the Baltic winds. cottage with sauna gives a much bigger value to the vacation...

Cute apartments in the very heart of forest near Kadaga and Gungas. The price could be less expensive for such compact apartments, comparing to other offers. If you're staying for more than 1-2 nights, then you can get short of space in refrigerator 😅But as whole- the place is very quiet and peaceful, for making picnics or time spending in a couple

Incredibly beautiful little ethnographic village where you can see traditional 1850s Latvian houses brought from all corners of the country. Great place to try the traditional Slavic banya (sauna) with a mandatory dip in a near by lake. The hosts are very friendly and helpful and the atmosphere is very relaxed and peaceful.

Everything you need in one place for perfect holiday. Compact, 4 bedroom house with fully equipped kitchen, terrace and sauna. Beautiful views and surroundings. A lot of things to do in the resort and close by. Helpful and friendly staff. One downside, only one shower and toilet for 4 bedroom house. Overall enjoyed our stay. Would recommend.

Was a great experience, we went there for valentine's day for skiing and to stay overnight in the Guest house. We got the equipment for skiing for some 12/14 eur forgot, and for the skiing track we paying price for only one ticket it was valentine's day discount. Since it was Monday or don't know why no one was there😬, we were the only ones so enjoyed to the maximum. About the room it was 60eur one...

Great place to learn skiing and snowboarding. There are two types of lifts. Yo can book an instructor. Equipment rental is available. Snowboards and shoes are new and in very good condition. I recommend

A nice place for downhill skiing, one of my top choices in the area. Equipment rentals and instructors available. Other features are X-country skiing and golf. Fairly close to Sigulda, yet out of the city.

It is a golf club and it was mostly empty when we were there. You will need to get your food elsewhere - go to the nearby restaurant Kungu Rija for excellent food.

We went to eat at the restaurant. The food was very good, the price was reasonable. Very good service from "Daniels" (I think that's his name). If we go back we will repeat!

It was overall a surprising and enjoyable meal in a relatively small town. If you’re staying right at the hotel, it is a very good idea to just come right down. This place still has a homey vibe. Quite importantly you don’t feel like you’re being ripped off. Everywhere would be expensive, at least here you know it’s good and it’s right downstairs. I have to mention the goat cheese and red berry salad...

We enjoyed a two night stay at Hotel Sigulda. The hotel is lovely and uniquely combines a splendidly renovated old building with new construction. The breakfast was very satisfying. We also dined in the restaurant two nights and thought our dinners of venison and pasta with salmon were very tasty. The hotel was the perfect base to explore the nearby castles of the region from.

Nothing to complain about. Good location, clean rooms. Has a SPA with pool for adults. Not all rooms have AC and fridge, which may be a letdown for some.

A pecial place for me and my wife. Very cosy, romantic and beautiful hotel. As one of the oldest with rich herritage and history brings the best experience. Hotel is noce with limited menu, however all the dishes are superb.

Very comfortable and quiet hotel. Room and corridor are decorated in medieval style. Bed comfortable, in the room you will find small things suitable for everyday needs from brush for shoes to electrical kettle. Was happy to stay.

Decent prices for a great location, very central very close to the train/bus station! Fast and easy self-check-in and the staff were very accommodating, allowing me to check in earlier when the room was ready when I contacted them in advance! The room is quite well equipped, having a mini fridge, kettle and some cups and tea, as well as plates and cutlery conveniently enough! Also comes with shampoo...

Self Check in was organized very easily. The room is properly prepared. Since I needed to change the room before my stay, the hotel arranged a room of a suitable size for me outside of booking (through which I made the reservation). I felt like a welcome guest. Breakfast is not included in the price, but there are so many cafes around that it is more exciting to find a suitable place for you.

Good quality rooms as well as the breakfast big portions and good taste

Beds and bedding were comfortable and the price was great. A mini fridge was a bonus. A few minor things that we didn't enjoy were wet bath mat upon arrival, broken shampoo dispenser and moldy caulking in the shower cabin. We could also hear our neighbors late into the evening and music beat downstairs at night.

I had lunch today at the restaurant. It’s a lovely place, with good food and good service. I had the prawn salad and an Estonian sparkling wine, since I wanted something from the Baltics.

Wonderful apartment near Riga in a beautiful landscape! There are a lot of things to highlight. First, reception and apartment staff were really supportive, helping with anything from a late check-in (we had our flight delayed and we arrived really late and nevertheless the check-in was perfect) to suggesting near beautiful places to visit and activities. This is mostly about the restaurant, 4 stars because I couldn’t see the prices being depicted in the dishes most of which costed more than 15-20€. The food was ok but so is in many other places. I highly enjoyed our dinner and stay and would recommend this place.

Nice clean rooms, You will find everything there that's needed for a pleasant stay. The variety of the food for dinner and breakfast could be wider. In general it was a good stay.

Overall more or less is ok for that price, but this is not a 4-star hotel for sure, more like a 3-star. Rooms are quite spacious, bathrooms are ok. An air conditioner was out of order during the hottest days (official reason - due to a storm). Breakfast - there was a food. Hotel is outdated, requires some update.

It's quite far away from the city center, and the surroundings are not nice at all (automobile repair shops etc). Wi-Fi is available, but you'd need to ask receptionist for a password explicitly. Very good food! Little bit to far outside of the town

Hotel is situated on the hillside with a beautiful view. It's simple but has all things needed - a comfy bed, good breakfast and great service! Sigulda is probably the most beautiful area in Latvia and hotel Santa is a part of it.

Very nice hotel. The view was spectacular from our side of the hotel. The breakfast was good, the room was clean and the staff was great. The only problem lies with the paper thin walls, we could hear our neighbor converse with his wife.

Great spa hotel with amazing park-like garden in pristine nature surroundings. Wonderful outdoor terrace for breakfast. It's a pity that the quality of the breakfast does not meet the same high standard. Hopefully the owners will realize soon how little it takes to upgrade the breakfast experience with fresh local high quality food products.

Had dinner in restaurant - everyone was happy, but no good for vegans. There is no offering for vegans.

Nice place in a beautiful quiet area, with a well maintained flower garden and walking trails. Hotel have small SPA area and small outdoor swimming pool with sunbeds. Great restaurant "Gadalaiki", however with limited variety of food for breakfast. Summing up great for 3 stars, and great choice to stay in Sigulda.

Loved the location, scenery, mini zoo, a walk down the river. Room had everything we needed. Spacious kitchen area for guests to use. Kids loved the outdoors, magnificent view while grilling and chilling for parents.

The rooms are great. Great Breakfast!!! Silence around. However, I heard that when all the numbers are busy, it is noisy because you can hear the neighbors. But we was the only ones there, so we were fine. Very scenic location for walks and Cycling trips. Near the river Gauja. A magical place.
