Very nice hotel. The main advantage is that is located in the suburban peaceful area. Hotel is very close to the beach, you have to only cross the road and make few steps through the Forrest on the coast. You can also go to the beautiful wooden alley through the cliffs with the beautiful point of view. Rooms are comfortable, cosy and clean. You get basic things which you could need.

Nice, clean rooms and just a 2-3 minute walk to the sea. They recently put air-conditioning in to help with the increasingly warm Latvian summers :) Breakfast is tasty, eggs are cooked to order (poached, fried, scrambled, omelette) and you get bacon, sausage, a dressed salad and some bread with it. Usually some fresh croissants, fresh fruit and at least one coffee. Definitely recommended.

Nice size apartment. Nice king size bed and shower. Balcony. The unfolding sofa though is of a bad quality. Internet worked only in the lobby. Good pizza place on site, but our pizza got burned.

A fantastic hotel with a seaside just across the road. Staff is super welcoming, the room is clean and spacious. Real value for money!

Clean, tidy, hospitable and friendly staff. The houses were decorated before the New Year. There is parking. The sea is 5 minutes walk, Saulkrasti center is 15 minutes walk.

Sauna needs to be pre ordered 5 hours ahead, there are just a towel per bed occupant, and pre payment at check in (instead of checkout). Otherwise place is excellent for a guest house. No pool but bbq parties allowed.

Friendly owner and very nice room. A bit pricey though. Beach is at walking distance. Unfortunately other guests were so loud and unsympathetic and they pretended to "own the place". Staff did not intervene.

Very nice bathhouse. But most wonderful was bath procedures and rituals. After visiting this place I am totally relaxed.

Maybe the cabin was a little bit outdated, but it was also a cheap and comfortable stay. And the location is fantastic, within 50 meters of the sea.

I would say Saulrieti isn't a hotel. It's more guest house, because in the first floor there are no rooms, there live the host family, on the 2nd floor there was only two rooms, one has absolutely amazing sea view. The hosts are very kind and helpful. House is 100 meters from sea and the beach. Sadly the bar and restaurant in the house was already closed on Saturday evening (18:00h)

Nice place for afternoon drink and snack. Cozy atmosphere and you can say hello to owner dog so dog friendly place. Prices are reasonable both for food and drinks.

It is a really nice campsite, the beach is close, cabins are pretty nice, but the tiny tiny minus is that the toilets/showers could be cleaner :) But everything else is Freaking AMAZING!!! Love it!!!

We were quite disappointed about pool and sauna access not being included in the price, that could have been made more clear on the website. Overall, the place is not bad, but the location near the highway and railroad makes it a bit noisy. There is a nice place to play pooll in main building with a great view to the lake.

As our accommodation was nearby, we had a dinner in this place. All of us were pleased to their dishes, and even a gluten free dish was good and tasty ( not always the case in Latvia). Fairly reasonable prices. The waitress was also quite attentive, even if we had to wait for the check quite a long time.

I recently stayed at Porto Resort for nearly two weeks and I enjoyed my stay. It is no way fancy but decent food and lodging. 5/5 - nice and clean rooms, very friendly staff, good food. The lake is quite shallow at the port (up to waistline) - so dont worry about kids swimming in the lake also. We were allowed to make noise and party and use the sauna etc until the morning, because its in a remote location away from neighbours and also there were no other guests.

The home was located in a nice quiet spot in the countryside right next to a pond. It was perfect to relax and spend a weekend away from the city. The host was incredibly helpful and kind. We enjoyed using the sauna, hot tub, and grill. Because the home is so isolated, its best to drive a car to the property or to rent one as taxis are not available that far. We hope to come back sometime soon!

We enjoyed our stay, it was much more than we expected. You have everything there, starting from kitchen equipment (even coffee maschine!), outside games like darts, trampoline for kids, you can use boat for a short drive (safety vest available). Super place - you could breathe in the fresh country air, take a boat ride on the pond, run around with a ball in the meadow. In the evening, grill it deliciously and let it bubble to full capacity in the kettle :). Thanks to the host for replenishing our vitamin C reserves with excellent anecdotes. Cute apartments in the very heart of forest near Kadaga and Gungas. The price could be less expensive for such compact apartments, comparing to other offers. Incredibly beautiful little ethnographic village where you can see traditional 1850s Latvian houses brought from all corners of the country. Great place to try the traditional Slavic banya (sauna) with a mandatory dip in a near by lake. The hosts are very friendly and helpful and the atmosphere is very relaxed and peaceful.

A really nice camping! The road towards the camping was very doable. Very nice sanitary & extensive kitchenary. Only there wasn't much water coming out of the womens shower, but still okay. Very beautiful and quiet campsite for not to many tents. Unfortunately there were a lot of mosquitos, so the outside experiences was a bit ruined for us. Without the mosquitos I would really recommend this camping

Lovely campsite in the middle of nowhere but a 30 minute drive to Riga. The showers and toilets are clean and there is a good kitchen. By a river and very peaceful. The receptionist was extremely helpful. Highly recommend this campsite.

Since we have started our bike tour a week ago, it was the best campside so far. It is quite, clean and they offer basic things to eat, which you can buy at the reception. For cykle tourist very important: you'll find a well equiped kitchen and roofed spots where you can stay while it rains.

Place to escape from the city...

Pleasant and quiet accommodation perfectly located near the route Riga - Sigulda about 5 minutes by car, half an hour by car to Riga and 26 km from Saulkrasti. Quiet, peaceful, spacious room, parking almost under the windows, comfortable bed and kitchen, which is fully equipped and up to the washing machine. The internet worked great. The Adazi Port Hotel stay of over three weeks was an incredibly positive experience. The room was always spotless, and the comfortable bed made it easy to relax after a long day. The location is excellent, with everything nearby. The breakfast was consistently fresh and delicious, with a great variety of options to start the day. This hotel is highly recommended for both long and short stays.

Nice smaller hotel near Adazi. Breakfast was amazing, loved the variety of foods at buffet.

Pet friedly?! Nice environment when traveling with dogs, but pet staying was verry overprised based on reason which I think is much more caused by people (including those traveling without pets).

Port Restaurant - amazing place to visit and dine. Every meal we ordered was exceptional. If you visit for just dinner or for a special event, you won't be disappointed, it is quality ingredients, friendly staff and good location. We highly recommend!

For Restaurant only (never stayed at hotel). Been there multiple times and always delicious. Steaks are very fairly priced and cooked perfectly. Service is good. I’ve had steaks both medium and medium well and I would go with the medium.

Beautiful place! A pre communist manor, that still retains the charm and the esthetic, that was very tastefully turned into a hotel. The place is very well managed, very clean, pet friendly, and welcoming. Start is great! Food is very nice especially breakfast. I would highly recommend for a weekend getaway or and event!

Old and beautiful this place is! The manor works as a hotel! There is a small spa area, a sauna and a swimming pool during the summer! A restaurant and beautiful premises where you can have a meal, as well as celebrate important moments in a larger company of people! Oh boy! That was a trip in a maze of flavours and textures! I could not say that unexpected, but still amaizing. Large dish with excelent choice of meat. Such an amazing place. We stopped by for lunch on our way from Estonia and were so happy to find such gem. Cosy, stylish modern decor. They have their own farm and all meat come from there, heavenly delicious. Grill meat ( šašliks) and burger were top! Best burger in my life! Our child liked kids corner and huge portion of chicken nuggets. Still under great impression.

World class experience! Owner itself suggested to try special off-menu offer - Osso buco from their self-grown cattle. But be aware that for next couple months they will be open Friday- Sunday. Portion size is more than enough. We actually shared the portion and were barely able to finish it. Highly recommend!

The dishes are big, i ordered fries and chicken fillet with mushroom sauce, it was delicious, but my friend got very strange steak- nobody asked her how would she like it to be cooked and she got half well done half rare steak... totally not worth 17 eur, she couldn't eat the dish...

The food is truly amazing here, but service is very slow. Rarely somebody comes to check on the tables other than when they are bringing something, so ordering and getting the bill can take a while. Suggestion - just go pay your bill at the bar instead of sitting around waiting.

Good value place with AC quite new but please remember: - okay for 1 night if you are on the way (A1 to/from North) - rooms are very tiny (bathroom you can't turn around) - beds are 1,4m only - all service is done via chat, restaurant does checkin - breakfast only from 10am, price 5€-7€ depending on website you booked.... Me and my husband chose business sweet for our weekend stay. I would say that everything was amazing. Rooms were spacious, clean and tidy. Hotel staff were friendly and very helpful. Im usually quite fussy person but this time I was pleasantly surprised.

An quiet hotel that is next to a lake. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The breakfast was really good. The only thing was that our tv was broken and it took a long time for them to do something about it. In the end we got a new room. The hotel was nice and i would still recommend it.

Everything you need in one place for perfect holiday. Compact, 4 bedroom house with fully equipped kitchen, terrace and sauna. Beautiful views and surroundings. A lot of things to do in the resort and close by. Helpful and friendly staff. One downside, only one shower and toilet for 4 bedroom house. Overall enjoyed our stay. Would recommend.

Was a great experience, we went there for valentine's day for skiing and to stay overnight in the Guest house. We got the equipment for skiing for some 12/14 eur forgot, and for the skiing track we paying price for only one ticket it was valentine's day discount. Since it was Monday or don't know why no one was there😬, we were the only ones so enjoyed to the maximum. About the room it was 60eur one...

Great place to learn skiing and snowboarding. There are two types of lifts. Yo can book an instructor. Equipment rental is available. Snowboards and shoes are new and in very good condition. I recommend

A nice place for downhill skiing, one of my top choices in the area. Equipment rentals and instructors available. Other features are X-country skiing and golf. Fairly close to Sigulda, yet out of the city.

It is a golf club and it was mostly empty when we were there. You will need to get your food elsewhere - go to the nearby restaurant Kungu Rija for excellent food.

The rooms are clean, the staff is polite. As for food, the food is very tasty, the portions are large and the prices are very good. You can order a comprehensive breakfast.

We were passing by for a short time. The place is beautifully cleaned. I don't even know which category to put the swimming pool or the pond near the sauna, it was with green colored water and you wouldn't want to rinse off after the sauna. If you are a large company and plan to actively relax all night, then this is not the place. place for grill.

Nice place to spend weekend...

Good value for money, rented a kayak and spent 4-5 hours on the river from Ligatne back to the Boat Rental in Sigulda. You are driven from Sigulda to the starting point by the rental service. My only (and biggest) criticism is that there is no one around to actually help you haul the heavy kayak the 50 meters or so from the (only) landing spot on the end of the beach, up a steep hill to the base camp...

I would like to thank Makars for recommending us to go on Gauja river by canoe . After 30k on foot from Cesis to Ligatne ,my knee couldnt take another 30 k to Sigulda . We thought of renting a canoe but i was unsure as I have never done it and i didnt know the river . This is only about kayak rentals. They did their job. Took us with a boat to the campsite of our choice and we got back in roundabout 4.5h for the 25km trip. Water was fast, so we did not very much. We started 45min after we had to get there. Not that big problem. But a little bit nasty. The big thing was the price. 50€ for a few hours kayaking is way too much.

We had lunch at this aged and rather worn place that definitely has seen better days. The food was hearty and not bad at all. The views of the valley just beyond is staggeringly beautiful.
