Wow! It's not often that I'm THAT impressed with a venue but honestly, having just held my mother in laws 80th birthday celebrations there I couldn't help but write a positively glowing recommendation! The staff were incredibly helpful in every aspect from the initial online planning to phone conversations helping to coordinate the food, drink and entertainment as well as providing spectacular rooms...

We are very happy with the stay - we were able to check in super late (after 1am), breakfast and coffee was really good and the rooms were clean and spacious. Would certainly stay again.

This lovely hotel is located about half way between Riga and Liepaja. Our room was very comfortable and spacious. The grounds are well taken care of. The food was tasty with good selection. There's a playground in the hotels garden. I definitely recommend to stop by here for a stay if you are in the region!

Had to make an emergency stop fir the kids, and this manors restaraunt was a true hidden gem.

Hello. I recommend it for anglers. The house on the lake is surrounded by a lot of rivers and lakes .. The cottage has a sauna and 3 bathrooms. Fireplace and open living room with kitchen. I recommend

The place is quite quiet, you can observe various birds, butterflies, frogs, there is fish in the pond. We swam in a boat, swam, fished, burned a fire, and grilled a barbecue. The house has everything for life, but the refrigerator for our company for 9 people was too small)) it was hot. I was surprised that on Sunday they began to mow the grass at 8 in the morning, and I really wanted to sleep.

Didnt have time to wait for food. We took deserts for keeds and capuchino. Capuchino is good, but deserts even better! For last 2 years wasn't able to visit restourants in Latvia, so didnt keep an eye on prices, but here the prices was a bit higher then expected. Maybe It's because of Covid, or maybe because Its just this restautant. I don't know. Its hiden restaurant in nowhere, but Its second time...

Great SPA!!! Highly recomended! Good food in restaurant, very good atmosphere over all. Beautifully restored building, tastefull design. Perfect stay for romantic weekend or relaxfull time

Lovely place with confusing message. They pose as only 3 star hotel and Spa, but the prices are luxury level. A very nice spa area and cafe. Again, cafe is overpriced, and in Spa do not take the baths offer as it's just a bath with dried rose petals. Didn't feel any benefit to my skin. Hotel rooms are a bit drab and tired, even the "large" ones are small and they have no TV, kettles or any other extras...

Very nice and beautiful place with rich history. SPA procedures were great, room was clean and staff was very nice. Food at the restaurant was also good. The Milk museum is basically for kids, thus it was not as entertaining as I'd expect. Not so great thing was that we had quite a lot of bugs in the room, I mean more than one mosquito. Otherwise very nice place.

Extremely beautiful and quiet place on the bank of the Venta! Wonderful hostess :) The guest house and the surroundings look much better in life than in the pictures - everything is tidy, clean, cozy and comfortable. Children have the opportunity to jump on a trampoline, ride very original bicycles, as well as ride in a chair on a rope. Everything is provided - washing machine, grill, fireplace, refrigerator...

The reservation was possible within 2 weeks. A very great host welcomed us. A person with perfect taste in furnishing the Lux cabin, very clean, tidy and thought of all the little things (first aid kit, shower gels, shampoo, sushi sticks, coffee, netflix). A charming carp pond, with the possibility of fishing. Also entertainment options for the dog in such a beautiful environment. Charming hot tub...

We booked this place for friday night and its amazing. You will find everything you need here. Really quite place and highly recommend to escape from the city. Also you can find beautiful attractions near the guest house. The owners do everything to make your vacation successful.

Amazing location! I stayed 1 night with my partner. Everything was perfect, the view, sleeping arrangements, interior, etc. I am going to be coming back here for a long time. Hosts were very nice as well. The wife spoke good enough English to communicate everything.

The place is out of town but not so far from center. The house is nice but there is a problem with water. The smell of water is disgusting, we could not took a shower.

Kuldiga is very beautiful town in Latvia, rivers and houses are very beautiful. Viesu Nams Pupa is very good place to sleep over nights, here is toys to children and public kitchen to all Viesu Nams Pupa visitors.

This was a great stay in the small city of Kuldiga. Really clean, brand new, and comfortable beds.

Very nice hostess. The room is clean and spacious enough. There is a small refrigerator and kettle in the room. The kitchen is at the bottom, but you need to agree to use it. You can also sit outside, there is a barbecue.

The location was fantastic and the flat was nice and comfy. There were all the basic necessities, and the wifi was good. There even was a washing machine that we really appreciated.

Excellent location, modern, cozy and clean rooms, great staff and wonderful breakfast (served in a Restaurant across the street). Only small minus, quite bad sound isolation, but as there were not many guests it wasn't an issue.

One of the best hotel stays I have had in a long time! The staff was absolutely wonderful, helpful, and very communicative. Accommodations were simple and had everything I needed for my stay. As I traveled by bike, the staff went above and beyond by allowing me to keep my bike inside and help me prepare for the next leg of my journey. I would give 10 stars if possible!

The room itself was ok, but it seems that all of the walls are made of paper and you can hear everyone through them

The hotel is nice and the breakfast was lovely. What bothered me was that the air conditioner was really loud and we couldn't turn it off, also the double bed had only one blanket and there weren't more blankets in the room. The location is perfect tho.

Ok place to stay on the budget as interior needs a bit to be updated. Breakfast is continental however pancakes were great.

Amazing hostel to stay at. Location is simply breathing and just a minute away from Ventas Rumba. The rooms are clean and staff very helpful and kind. However it was rather hot in the room and once opened the window a bunch of mosquitos flew in which made the sleeping a bit complicated. (When we stayed over it was around +30 outside so understandable )

Nice location on a beautiful place. The view is priceless. That's why I gave four points. Unfortunatly the host lady was everything else but not friendly and the toilets were on the edge. But still a very nice place and worth the visit.

Must visit if you are in Latvian countryside. Wide view and the bridge across makes the landscape very picturesque. Might be a good spot for a sim during the summer.

European widest waterfall has to be seen! :)

Nice scenery in a cute, small town. Did not go swim given we arrived late afternoon but lots of people were enjoying the water and jumping from the waterfall's top.

Old world charm, good and bad. The room for was spacious and had that unique Kuldīga old/modern feel. Breakfast spread was great, with good coffee, a great selection of meats and cheeses, fresh eggs, breads and cereals. However facilities were substandard. There was only mildly lukewarm water in the shower, which is unacceptable for a purportedly 3star hotel.

Stayed two times. Everything is just great! They have parking space in the yard, for a bus there is gree public parking lot in some 3 minutes walk from the hotel. Rooms are clean, newly renovated. Staff is very helpful. Breakfast has quite a good selection and the pastries are so deliciuos! Definetly should have dinner there: food is so sophisticated, portions are big and prices good.

Nice place. Clean, spacious, great location, very good price. Nice staff. Good breakfast and dinner. The only thing that was not amazing was beds. Our room had two separate beds that provided somewhat mixed sleeping experience, not bad, just a bit weird.

Newly renovated rooms!! They were changing the roof of the building, so... its going to be even better. The staff is very polite!! There is a private parking for the visitors of the hotel. The breakfast was super! Great place to stay!

I can only rate the restaurant, as i didn't stay here at the hotel. The staff was very friendly and the food was fantastic! I had the fried chicken in a mango-chilli sauce, roasted potatoes and some salad. The chicken was delicious, the sauce incredible and the salad simply great. The potatoes are as you know it covered with a salty/spicy powder of spices. It's a lot of food for 8 Eur and it was delicious...

Not unfriendly, but a bit indifferent service. The location is great, looking out onto the street, in a quiet area. The single room I had, with a great view over the front door, was nice, but a bit overpriced for what it was. I don't know about the rooms in the newer section, behind the restaurant. There was a bad odor in the room, though I couldn't find the source. My biggest complaint was the service...

Spacious, very nicely furnished apartment in a good location, beautiful view to the river, impeccably clean, parking in the yard, easy communication, easy to take/leave the keys, helpful hostess. It's not just a stay in an apartment, it's a wonderful and authentic experience :) Absolutely recommend!

Great place to spend a night. Reasonable pricing and great breakfast included in price. Located in city centrum and all surrounding places can be reached by walking. Keep in mind that over the road there is pub and it might get very noisy at the middle of the night. Ask for room away from the main road. Other than that I have no regrets. I recommend this place.

We were surprised, so nice hotel in this small town. Clean rooms, good service, nice breakfast.
