Lovely little hotel next to the river. The staff was really friendly and the breakfast was high-quality (one of the best we've ever had in a hotel). Not much in the surroundings to see but I can highly recommend this place if you are looking for a quiet place to stay

When I came here I was amazed by the hotel. I did not think it was that big. When I came in the staff welcomed me. The rooms were so cozy and quiet. Sleeping there felt like a miracle. When I woke up I went to eat breakfast. I was amazed of what food choices I had. The foods were very good. I highly recommend the hotel. 5/5

Due to unexpected bad weather, we had to stop at this hotel, which was formerly a manor. It turned out to be an amazing discovery! The rooms are very spacious, clean, and cozy. Wow! It's not often that I'm THAT impressed with a venue but honestly, having just held my mother in laws 80th birthday celebrations there I couldn't help but write a positively glowing recommendation! The staff were incredibly helpful in every aspect from the initial online planning to phone conversations helping to coordinate the food, drink and entertainment as well as providing spectacular rooms...

We are very happy with the stay - we were able to check in super late (after 1am), breakfast and coffee was really good and the rooms were clean and spacious. Would certainly stay again.

This lovely hotel is located about half way between Riga and Liepaja. Our room was very comfortable and spacious. The grounds are well taken care of. The food was tasty with good selection. There's a playground in the hotels garden. I definitely recommend to stop by here for a stay if you are in the region!

A very colossal place on the banks of Venta. Nice host.

Extremely beautiful and quiet place on the bank of the Venta! Wonderful hostess :) The guest house and the surroundings look much better in life than in the pictures - everything is tidy, clean, cozy and comfortable. Children have the opportunity to jump on a trampoline, ride very original bicycles, as well as ride in a chair on a rope. Everything is provided - washing machine, grill, fireplace, refrigerator...

Great spot. Clean and warm, Private shower and very close to the old town city center. Confortable beds , fridge in the room atc.. great choice.

Kuldiga is very beautiful town in Latvia, rivers and houses are very beautiful. Viesu Nams Pupa is very good place to sleep over nights, here is toys to children and public kitchen to all Viesu Nams Pupa visitors.

One of the best hotel stays I have had in a long time! The staff was absolutely wonderful, helpful, and very communicative. Accommodations were simple and had everything I needed for my stay. As I traveled by bike, the staff went above and beyond by allowing me to keep my bike inside and help me prepare for the next leg of my journey. I would give 10 stars if possible!

The room itself was ok, but it seems that all of the walls are made of paper and you can hear everyone through them

The hotel is nice and the breakfast was lovely. What bothered me was that the air conditioner was really loud and we couldn't turn it off, also the double bed had only one blanket and there weren't more blankets in the room. The location is perfect tho.

Ok place to stay on the budget as interior needs a bit to be updated. Breakfast is continental however pancakes were great.

Old world charm, good and bad. The room for was spacious and had that unique Kuldīga old/modern feel. Breakfast spread was great, with good coffee, a great selection of meats and cheeses, fresh eggs, breads and cereals. However facilities were substandard. There was only mildly lukewarm water in the shower, which is unacceptable for a purportedly 3star hotel.

Stayed two times. Everything is just great! They have parking space in the yard, for a bus there is gree public parking lot in some 3 minutes walk from the hotel. Rooms are clean, newly renovated. Staff is very helpful. Breakfast has quite a good selection and the pastries are so deliciuos! Definetly should have dinner there: food is so sophisticated, portions are big and prices good.

Nice place. Clean, spacious, great location, very good price. Nice staff. Good breakfast and dinner. The only thing that was not amazing was beds. Our room had two separate beds that provided somewhat mixed sleeping experience, not bad, just a bit weird.

Newly renovated rooms!! They were changing the roof of the building, so... its going to be even better. The staff is very polite!! There is a private parking for the visitors of the hotel. The breakfast was super! Great place to stay!

I can only rate the restaurant, as i didn't stay here at the hotel. The staff was very friendly and the food was fantastic! I had the fried chicken in a mango-chilli sauce, roasted potatoes and some salad. The chicken was delicious, the sauce incredible and the salad simply great. The potatoes are as you know it covered with a salty/spicy powder of spices. It's a lot of food for 8 Eur and it was delicious...

Not unfriendly, but a bit indifferent service. The location is great, looking out onto the street, in a quiet area. The single room I had, with a great view over the front door, was nice, but a bit overpriced for what it was. I don't know about the rooms in the newer section, behind the restaurant. There was a bad odor in the room, though I couldn't find the source. My biggest complaint was the service...

Great place to spend a night. Reasonable pricing and great breakfast included in price. Located in city centrum and all surrounding places can be reached by walking. Keep in mind that over the road there is pub and it might get very noisy at the middle of the night. Ask for room away from the main road. Other than that I have no regrets. I recommend this place.

Room: mansarda room with bed for two people located under a roof, so second tersom could not stand up from the bed without risk of hitting the roof by his head. Wall between room and WC is made of glass and completely transparent, which is a very questionable choice, which isn't only ruin some privacy matters but also when someone is visiting WC at night and turn the light on in three - illuminates...

Hotel is pretty good. Rooms are clean and nice. Two things worth to mention: location is not what you expect for such place and rooms sound isolation is pretty bad.

In general very nice muiža, even tho it is surrounded by old hrisčovkas. Rooms are well decorated, but mansard room felt a bit claustrophobic. Completely transparent bathroom looks cool, be ready to feel uncomfortable when one person want to go to the toilet, but other is sitting on a couch right across the transparent wall.

Super hotel in a modern old fashioned way. Great family room, quiet and resting place. Breakfast is a bit short though

Great unusual place in the middle of the woods!

While in deep woods unexpected ethnic place with cosy interior, every room has its own touch, fantastic comfortable beds, all details į side shows how everything iš done with love! Mairite owner of the place iš so sincere and giving all her heart to this place!!

Wonderful place to stay. I ordered one night stay. The hosts were very kind . There were very nice opportunity to go fishing. I caught many fish and had an opportunity to prepare them in the kitchen.
