The home was located in a nice quiet spot in the countryside right next to a pond. It was perfect to relax and spend a weekend away from the city. The host was incredibly helpful and kind. We enjoyed using the sauna, hot tub, and grill. Because the home is so isolated, its best to drive a car to the property or to rent one as taxis are not available that far. We hope to come back sometime soon!

We enjoyed our stay, it was much more than we expected. You have everything there, starting from kitchen equipment (even coffee maschine!), outside games like darts, trampoline for kids, you can use boat for a short drive (safety vest available). If you want to do fishing, than this equipment is not provided and you need to take it with you. For extra cost you can use hot tub and sauna too. This place...

Super place - you could breathe in the fresh country air, take a boat ride on the pond, run around with a ball in the meadow. In the evening, grill it deliciously and let it bubble to full capacity in the kettle :). Thanks to the host for replenishing our vitamin C reserves with excellent anecdotes. Next time we will go in a bigger group. Thank you.

That charming silence, real, true silence. Fabulous nature and views. A cozy room and we had 3 rooms for the four of us. Warm, cozy room. We felt like at home. Very welcome. Tolle Lage - eine gemütliches kleinen Holzhaus mit allem was man braucht: Kamin, TV, Sauna, WLAN, kuschelige Betten, Wolldecken usw. - sehr freundliche Vermieter.

Very nice place. Everything is so clean and cozy. There is a sauna which was immediately offered to light. It was a great tub. The host is responsive. Thank him for that. The pond was immediately near the cottage where we stayed and the depth was 1.75 m. The children were in the beam. I definitely recommend relaxing with family and friends.

The guy has an attitude. i think he has mistaken who needs who for his business to be successful. The place is amazing with little houses, parties, for kids, BBQ, sauna, swim, volleyball, and in very handy location.

Relatively nice place, but a big minus for dirty sanitary facilities and loud noises from nearby seaport all night. The closest beach is nice but water filled with thick layer of smelly algae.

As a camping with ability to rent small houses - perfect place, very inexpensive.

It is a really nice campsite, the beach is close, cabins are pretty nice, but the tiny tiny minus is that the toilets/showers could be cleaner :) But everything else is Freaking AMAZING!!! Love it!!!

Sauna needs to be pre ordered 5 hours ahead, there are just a towel per bed occupant, and pre payment at check in (instead of checkout). Otherwise place is excellent for a guest house. No pool but bbq parties allowed.

Friendly owner and very nice room. A bit pricey though. Beach is at walking distance. Unfortunately other guests were so loud and unsympathetic and they pretended to "own the place". Staff did not intervene.

Nice place for afternoon drink and snack. Cozy atmosphere and you can say hello to owner dog so dog friendly place. Prices are reasonable both for food and drinks.

Beautiful place! A pre communist manor, that still retains the charm and the esthetic, that was very tastefully turned into a hotel. The place is very well managed, very clean, pet friendly, and welcoming. Start is great! Food is very nice especially breakfast. I would highly recommend for a weekend getaway or and event!

What an amazing place. Beautiful, historic manor superbly restored. Absolutely beautiful grounds and an amazing kitchen. Our meal on the terrace was one of the best I have had in a very long time. Highly recommended.

Amazing place! You will be few hundred years ago. Everything was perfect. Nice garden. Quiet area. Parking in front of house. We were really very satisfied.

Old and beautiful this place is! The manor works as a hotel! There is a small spa area, a sauna and a swimming pool during the summer! A restaurant and beautiful premises where you can have a meal, as well as celebrate important moments in a larger company of people! The restaurant premises are bright with indescribably beautiful pot ovens! There is a beautiful manor park and a deer garden in the area...

Maybe the cabin was a little bit outdated, but it was also a cheap and comfortable stay. And the location is fantastic, within 50 meters of the sea.

I would say Saulrieti isn't a hotel. It's more guest house, because in the first floor there are no rooms, there live the host family, on the 2nd floor there was only two rooms, one has absolutely amazing sea view. The hosts are very kind and helpful. House is 100 meters from sea and the beach. Sadly the bar and restaurant in the house was already closed on Saturday evening (18:00h)

Clean, tidy, hospitable and friendly staff. The houses were decorated before the New Year. There is parking. The sea is 5 minutes walk, Saulkrasti center is 15 minutes walk.

We were passing by for a short time. The place is beautifully cleaned. I don't even know which category to put the swimming pool or the pond near the sauna, it was with green colored water and you wouldn't want to rinse off after the sauna. If you are a large company and plan to actively relax all night, then this is not the place. place for grill.

An amazing place! Into the National Park, close to the river, every detail of this camping is just 😍😍😍! Pet friendly, we had great time here with our dogs 🐶

Nice place in the forest and just on the river bank. Very helpful and kind owners who found a place for us even it was an evening and the camping was full. Nonetheless I recommend to book before as it's a crowded place especially in the weekends.

A cool spot to camp to enjoy nature. Quite a good location too if you have a car with a lot of things to see and visit around. Perfect for river activities.

This campsite is a really beautiful place in harmony with nature. The pitches are equipped with a hammock, grill, fireplace, firewood electricity and a roofed table. Unfortunatetely our stay of two days was very rainy. Anyway we decided to do the offered 15km canoe tour, to get in physical contact with the great riverscape. A beautiful spot in the middle of the Gauja national Park. Comfortable little houses with very clean common bathrooms. Enchanting picnic area by the river with the possibility to use the hot tub right on the shore. A great traditional Latvian black sauna is also available and it's highly recommend. Linda can also organize a fantastic kayak excursion. Definitely a great place to spend a weekend.

Omg! This place is it! Definitely place to visit and eat amazing food! Fantastic service, friendly people and I can say enough food is to die for.

Oh boy! That was a trip in a maze of flavours and textures! I could not say that unexpected, but still amaizing. Large dish with excelent choice of meat. The texture and consistence... it was a roast, that was so well prepared that it started to dissolve by touching and melted as soon as I got it in mouth. Accompanied with nice red wine. BUT wait!!! In case you thought that was it, no no no... We tried...

Such an amazing place. We stopped by for lunch on our way from Estonia and were so happy to find such gem. Cosy, stylish modern decor. They have their own farm and all meat come from there, heavenly delicious. Grill meat ( šašliks) and burger were top! Best burger in my life! Our child liked kids corner and huge portion of chicken nuggets. Still under great impression.

World class experience! Owner itself suggested to try special off-menu offer - Osso buco from their self-grown cattle. But be aware that for next couple months they will be open Friday- Sunday. Portion size is more than enough. We actually shared the portion and were barely able to finish it. Highly recommend!

Everything you need in one place for perfect holiday. Compact, 4 bedroom house with fully equipped kitchen, terrace and sauna. Beautiful views and surroundings. A lot of things to do in the resort and close by. Helpful and friendly staff. One downside, only one shower and toilet for 4 bedroom house. Overall enjoyed our stay. Would recommend.

Was a great experience, we went there for valentine's day for skiing and to stay overnight in the Guest house. We got the equipment for skiing for some 12/14 eur forgot, and for the skiing track we paying price for only one ticket it was valentine's day discount. Since it was Monday or don't know why no one was there😬, we were the only ones so enjoyed to the maximum. About the room it was 60eur one...

Great place to learn skiing and snowboarding. There are two types of lifts. Yo can book an instructor. Equipment rental is available. Snowboards and shoes are new and in very good condition. I recommend

A nice place for downhill skiing, one of my top choices in the area. Equipment rentals and instructors available. Other features are X-country skiing and golf. Fairly close to Sigulda, yet out of the city.

It is a golf club and it was mostly empty when we were there. You will need to get your food elsewhere - go to the nearby restaurant Kungu Rija for excellent food.

Very nice hotel. The main advantage is that is located in the suburban peaceful area. Hotel is very close to the beach, you have to only cross the road and make few steps through the Forrest on the coast. You can also go to the beautiful wooden alley through the cliffs with the beautiful point of view. Rooms are comfortable, cosy and clean. You get basic things which you could need.

Nice, clean rooms and just a 2-3 minute walk to the sea. They recently put air-conditioning in to help with the increasingly warm Latvian summers :) Breakfast is tasty, eggs are cooked to order (poached, fried, scrambled, omelette) and you get bacon, sausage, a dressed salad and some bread with it. Usually some fresh croissants, fresh fruit and at least one coffee. Definitely recommended.

Nice size apartment. Nice king size bed and shower. Balcony. The unfolding sofa though is of a bad quality. Internet worked only in the lobby. Good pizza place on site, but our pizza got burned.

Place to escape from the city...

Pleasant and quiet accommodation perfectly located near the route Riga - Sigulda about 5 minutes by car, half an hour by car to Riga and 26 km from Saulkrasti. Quiet, peaceful, spacious room, parking almost under the windows, comfortable bed and kitchen, which is fully equipped and up to the washing machine. The internet worked great. Conviscated by the government in 1922 & later turned into a tuberculosis hospital. Nowadays it is a sanatorium.

"Milly" cafe a much needed retreat from the cold. Serves english breakfast tea and pastries.

Great piece of history. Good place for shorter or longer hikes.

Nice remote location. Bees speak to you in the morning. At night you can cook on a beautiful fire and hear the forest. Making love on the bed left a wound on my back, matress might need to be changed.

Perfect place for a traditional Latvian wedding

Worth every cent! If you want to enjoy, peace, fresh air and just to be far from city this is a place to visit. Perfect little hauses for singles or couples to sleep, relax enjoy spa day, bake meat and have fun with children in fresh air.
