Where to stay in Virpazar

Good places and vibes, location is awesome. Tranquil and far away from the city.. Yet, the wedding menu is just poor. Like usually happens in Montenegro, weeding business is flourishing, and quality is going down. And prices rising.

5/5 everything si peffect. It’s a big pool with different depth with a big place fo get some nice sun tan. Delicious food and nice drinks. Staff is very good specially the waiter Vladimir Scepanovic who was amazing for his job he was taking care of us all the time which made us go back again and again until he’s there during the summer.

The family owned hotel was perfect! Great food, close to the water, and everyone was so pleasant to interact with! Cannot ask for more

We stayed here as part of a group tour. Rooms are small if not tiny but have all the necessities. Recommend you ask for a twin room as the double bed is very narrow (like in room 103) - ultimately we ended in a twin (07) which was good. Breakfast was fine. Hotel Pelican is a good, if basic, base to explore lake Skadar from. If you want a more luxurious stay, check Hotel De'Andros at double the price...

Good prices, nice hotel, scenic views, a good place to bring your family and have a walk around. Local and homemade foods available. Very tasty. I will highly recommend

We arrived at the hotel with our bicycles, there was a save place to park them over night. We were welcomed with a fresh lemonade. The service is really good and we felt comfortable to had a good rest. The breakfast has a lot of options and it’s very delicious.

Very small rooms. I could not turn around in the shower and the shower head was too low for me to shower my hair. Also no shampoo or shower soap. Bed was good. Bread for breakfast was old, but the eggs and snacks were nice. A nice woman showed us to the rooms and was very kind.

We stayed 3 nights in this hotel and we are so satisfied with staff cleanness and hospitality,here. Particularly in the top of hotel is situated small family museum,with very old family collection of local things.

Beautiful location. The family couldn’t do more to ensure your stay was comfortable. Room was spotlessly clean. Cant wait to go back! Food and wine was good too!!!

The location is perfect. The cottages/villas are classy and spacious with all the amenities. A day of rest here is worth ten anywhere else. The host, Nemanja was very knowledgeable on all things and was great at organizing any/all local tours or other activities in Montenegro. He's a very nice and charming host. We had the most incredible and amazing stay here - Nemanja and his family are extremely kind, knowledgeable and attentive people who ensure that your experience is just perfect. We stopped by for a wine tasting the other day and it was a lovely experience. The guy who worked there was very attentive and helpful and the wines were delicious (wish we could have bought so many more bottles!). Very atmospheric room for wine tasting as well. Highly recommend visiting.

We showed up for a wine tasting unannounced and were greeted very warmly! Very knowledgeable and concise about the wines we were tasting and offered helpful local recommendations. We ended up taking a bottle home to enjoy later and were very happy we did! Can't recommend this place enough.

Amazing experience. The place and the views are amazing. The best asset of this place is Marko and his family. You see he is truly in love with showing around, explaining his family history and talking about Monténégro. If you come to the skadar lake, you HAVE to spend you journey at Marko's. Don't forget to taste his wine in is wonderful cellar.

We stayed here for 5 night in September 2019 and absolutely loved it. The area is really beautiful and the apartment we were staying in was really well designed and comfortable. Great place for holiday. Delicious food which is picked daily from the garden and if you wish you can pick it yourself. Highly recommend.

We spend almost a week in Virpazar and two nights in the Villa Miela. The villa js very close Virpazar (20min walking) and as many to offer: a splendid view, lovely and helpful hosts; all was very clean ; and we enjoyed also cooking for ourselves ; Ben and his wife know the place very well and also organize several activities that few others in the area can provide:kayak tour on the lake, walking...

Magnificent view, friendliest hosts, beautiful villa with a long history. Everything is made with care and love! Complimentary bikes to travel around (even though the area isn't very flat) And great breakfasts from the local farmers!

Lovely place, a home from home with hosts Emma & Ben. Very nice rooms, bathrooms, common living areas, fabulous terrace & facilities. Not far from capital for the airport, walkable to the village & lake and a fantastic base for soft adventure holidays... Or just sit by the pool & chill with the visitor-friendly cats & dog pets.

A beautiful villa with great view over the lake. It's like heaven when you open the doors or windows in the morning. The villa is very well equiped and the hosts are very nice. The places provided in their tours are amazing.

Myself and my 3 kids (10, 11 and 13) stayed for a week at Villa Miela in August. As a single parent, the balance between spending quality time as a family whilst also keeping them happy, active and off their phones has always been a challenge. This holiday was perfect. Great location for an activity holiday made easy by experienced and friendly hosts Ben and Emma. The villa has amazing views and great facilities. Perfect place to get an introduction to the real Montenegro. Strongly recommend the hiking and kayaking tours which were my favourite parts of our holiday.

Difficult to find. It is better not to go at night, the road is very dangerous. Shower and toilet for 2 rooms. It is dangerous with children - the playground near the house is not fenced. High break. Parking for super drivers, on a narrow and steep road. Beautiful view of the mountains.

We liked everything very much. We were alone, so we didn't have to share the bathroom with anyone. Friendly hostess, delicious breakfast, fresh figs! Bought wine with us, very good dry red wine, I also recommend it.

Staying at Feel Lake was amazing! We came from a big and stresfull city, took a taxy from the airport of Podgorica and found ourselves in the middle of nature, lake, sunshine and mountains around the wine terace. We stayed one week with my GF here. it was a wonderful experience. The hosts is super nice and a fantastic cook also :) Very nice and quiet place, walking distance to a beautiful secluded beach and even cute dog and cats, you can't ask for more. Shame on that 1 start review

Very nice and welcoming family, homemade organic food, etno style. They have excellent homemade blackberry wine, pomegranate wine, healthy brandies, liquors, organic jams. Nice green nature around with a lot of plants. Also big natural spring of water in the yard.

The people who run this winery are extraordinary! Mirjana the owner is such a kind and nice woman, by far the best host in this region and in Montenegro. She will offer you so many home-made products that she personally produces, wines, brandies ... Breakfast at Mirjana's is like being at home, the portions are large and most importantly, all the food is from her garden! So I recommend that you do...

Amazing place. The hosts are so friendly and their produce is delicious. I wish I had stayed longer to see how they make their brandy, I hope I can come again.

The best! Such a warm family. You immediately feel at home. And the food (dinner and breakfast) is delicious. Also the boat trip is fantastic. If we could give an 11 we would have.😀

Amazing family guesthouse lost in a vineyard. Very welcoming family. Best diner in Montenegro by far with great homemade schnaps as a liqueur. We also had a boat trip with the dad and one of the daughter who has a perfect english (much apreciated). Recommending 100%

Hosts were incredibly friendly and cooked us delicious local food. All of the food and wine came from their own property which was very cool! They have a boat with which they can take you out on the water for a refreshing swim.

We had a great time. We were very well received, the meal was plentiful and delicious only with fresh products produced in the family garden. We recommend!

Lovely place to stay. 100% recommend it. We were received by the whole family. They were super welcoming. The apartment is comfortable but the best part is the nice family. We had a homemade dinner and breakfast. The food is great. All local products. When we left, we were given some grapes. We also did a boat tour with them on Skadar Lake at sunset. It was a lovely tour and we totally recommend it

We stayed there for 2 nights and it was wonderful. We felt like part of the family. There is a free wine tasting for the guests. It is a lovely place and we would always come back.

Wonderful place !!! The hosts are so nice, they take care of the guests. There is free bike for visit the village or the vineyard around. The view is just magic with a perfect swimming-pool ! We stay three nights but it's not enough ;)

We were only here for 1 night but wish we could've stayed longer! Villas are perfect and the view surround the pool is even better. We had a lovely time wine tasting and eating the lovely food they cooked for us.

Came here for a wine tasting and breakfast, both were of great quality. The breakfast terras has a beautiful view of the valley. Reason this place gets only 4 stars is because its too expensive! But i guess this place is a bit more exclusive and for upper class tourists, because it's absolutely beautiful.

We had four fantastic nights and really enjoyed our stay. The Rooms are amazing and the family is very friendly. We enjoyed the wine tasting and the delicious breakfast. Thanks for the great time. We can highly recommend this place
