Where to stay in Virpazar

Good places and vibes, location is awesome. Tranquil and far away from the city.. Yet, the wedding menu is just poor. Like usually happens in Montenegro, weeding business is flourishing, and quality is going down. And prices rising.

5/5 everything si peffect. It’s a big pool with different depth with a big place fo get some nice sun tan. Delicious food and nice drinks. Staff is very good specially the waiter Vladimir Scepanovic who was amazing for his job he was taking care of us all the time which made us go back again and again until he’s there during the summer.

It is a pity that the light goes out and no water

Friendly and welcoming team who run the restaurant, hotel & boat/kayak rental. They helped us arrange a kayak trip and made sure we had restroom access and knew where to pick up refreshments etc.

We stayed in the hotel and the rooms, price and staff were all very friendly. I would highly recommend! A++

The hotel Pelikan was a great choice for me to spend my time here in Virpazar. The rooms were clean, nice, and comfortable. I felt safe and welcomed by the staff. 10/10 would recommend!!

Lovely place to visit - family run business, the brothers looked after us from roadside to finish! Fabulous hospitality. We had water and services for the campervan as well. Highly recommend

The property was so beautiful, quaint, cosy and full of character. The view and figs we were able to pick from the trees are amazing too! It was the perfect base to explore Lake Skadar and the surrounding areas by car. The hosts and locals were friendly, welcoming and very helpful. Very nice old Lady. Very Kind and welcoming. Brought us tea and Coffee :) Sometimes a bit difficult with communication but that doesnt matter. The terrace has a really nice view over Lake skutari! Rooms are clean and warm shower. Best you can expect for this price! Very recomendable!

Beba, a lady who will continue to talk to you in Montenegrin to the point of exhaustion knowing that you don't understand a word of it. House still cozy, (the lady will offer you tea or coffee with rosemary) ... enjoyable from the roof of the building from which you can enjoy the green scenery out of sight on Lake Skutari. Wonderful. This is the house of Beba, a sweet old lady. It is clean, but there are no towels so you need to bring your own. Its not luxuriuse but its the best and cheapest option for budget travelers in Virpazar.

Amazing stay! Would definately recommand and would love to come back some day. The garden with the figs and other fruit trees is lovely. Thank you Nino, Nada and Max (the dog).

Great place for holiday. Delicious food which is picked daily from the garden and if you wish you can pick it yourself. Highly recommend.

We spend almost a week in Virpazar and two nights in the Villa Miela. The villa js very close Virpazar (20min walking) and as many to offer: a splendid view, lovely and helpful hosts; all was very clean ; and we enjoyed also cooking for ourselves ; Ben and his wife know the place very well and also organize several activities that few others in the area can provide:kayak tour on the lake, walking...

Magnificent view, friendliest hosts, beautiful villa with a long history. Everything is made with care and love! Complimentary bikes to travel around (even though the area isn't very flat) And great breakfasts from the local farmers!

Lovely place, a home from home with hosts Emma & Ben. Very nice rooms, bathrooms, common living areas, fabulous terrace & facilities. Not far from capital for the airport, walkable to the village & lake and a fantastic base for soft adventure holidays... Or just sit by the pool & chill with the visitor-friendly cats & dog pets.

A beautiful villa with great view over the lake. It's like heaven when you open the doors or windows in the morning. The villa is very well equiped and the hosts are very nice. The places provided in their tours are amazing.

Myself and my 3 kids (10, 11 and 13) stayed for a week at Villa Miela in August. As a single parent, the balance between spending quality time as a family whilst also keeping them happy, active and off their phones has always been a challenge. This holiday was perfect. Great location for an activity holiday made easy by experienced and friendly hosts Ben and Emma. The villa has amazing views and great facilities. Perfect place to get an introduction to the real Montenegro. Strongly recommend the hiking and kayaking tours which were my favourite parts of our holiday.

Difficult to find. It is better not to go at night, the road is very dangerous. Shower and toilet for 2 rooms. It is dangerous with children - the playground near the house is not fenced. High break. Parking for super drivers, on a narrow and steep road. Beautiful view of the mountains.

We liked everything very much. We were alone, so we didn't have to share the bathroom with anyone. Friendly hostess, delicious breakfast, fresh figs! Bought wine with us, very good dry red wine, I also recommend it.

Staying at Feel Lake was amazing! We came from a big and stresfull city, took a taxy from the airport of Podgorica and found ourselves in the middle of nature, lake, sunshine and mountains around the wine terace. We stayed one week with my GF here. it was a wonderful experience. The hosts is super nice and a fantastic cook also :) Very nice and quiet place, walking distance to a beautiful secluded beach and even cute dog and cats, you can't ask for more. Shame on that 1 start review

Beautiful location. The family couldn’t do more to ensure your stay was comfortable. Room was spotlessly clean. Cant wait to go back! Food and wine was good too!!!

The location is perfect. The cottages/villas are classy and spacious with all the amenities. A day of rest here is worth ten anywhere else. The host, Nemanja was very knowledgeable on all things and was great at organizing any/all local tours or other activities in Montenegro. He's a very nice and charming host. We had the most incredible and amazing stay here - Nemanja and his family are extremely kind, knowledgeable and attentive people who ensure that your experience is just perfect. We stopped by for a wine tasting the other day and it was a lovely experience. The guy who worked there was very attentive and helpful and the wines were delicious (wish we could have bought so many more bottles!). Very atmospheric room for wine tasting as well. Highly recommend visiting.

We showed up for a wine tasting unannounced and were greeted very warmly! Very knowledgeable and concise about the wines we were tasting and offered helpful local recommendations. We ended up taking a bottle home to enjoy later and were very happy we did! Can't recommend this place enough.

Amazing experience. The place and the views are amazing. The best asset of this place is Marko and his family. You see he is truly in love with showing around, explaining his family history and talking about Monténégro. If you come to the skadar lake, you HAVE to spend you journey at Marko's. Don't forget to taste his wine in is wonderful cellar.

We stayed here for 5 night in September 2019 and absolutely loved it. The area is really beautiful and the apartment we were staying in was really well designed and comfortable. Marko was a great host - he made us feel really welcome and at home for our stay. The wine from his vineyard is delicious so we got through quite a few bottles. Very nice and welcoming family, homemade organic food, etno style. They have excellent homemade blackberry wine, pomegranate wine, healthy brandies, liquors, organic jams. Nice green nature around with a lot of plants. Also big natural spring of water in the yard.

The people who run this winery are extraordinary! Mirjana the owner is such a kind and nice woman, by far the best host in this region and in Montenegro. She will offer you so many home-made products that she personally produces, wines, brandies ... Breakfast at Mirjana's is like being at home, the portions are large and most importantly, all the food is from her garden! So I recommend that you do...

Amazing place. The hosts are so friendly and their produce is delicious. I wish I had stayed longer to see how they make their brandy, I hope I can come again.

The best! Such a warm family. You immediately feel at home. And the food (dinner and breakfast) is delicious. Also the boat trip is fantastic. If we could give an 11 we would have.😀

Amazing family guesthouse lost in a vineyard. Very welcoming family. Best diner in Montenegro by far with great homemade schnaps as a liqueur. We also had a boat trip with the dad and one of the daughter who has a perfect english (much apreciated). Recommending 100%

Hosts were incredibly friendly and cooked us delicious local food. All of the food and wine came from their own property which was very cool! They have a boat with which they can take you out on the water for a refreshing swim.

We had a great time. We were very well received, the meal was plentiful and delicious only with fresh products produced in the family garden. We recommend!

Lovely place to stay. 100% recommend it. We were received by the whole family. They were super welcoming. The apartment is comfortable but the best part is the nice family. We had a homemade dinner and breakfast. The food is great. All local products. When we left, we were given some grapes. We also did a boat tour with them on Skadar Lake at sunset.
