Pole pole in Grand Bay

Been here many times lovely little place for dinner the lady chef knows how to cook I always ask for something not on the menu and never fails to amaze. Also a heated outdoor swimming pool greta place to chill with friends and have few beers and nice food and karaoke at the weekends.

This place is amazing very clean place to stay highly recommended.

Nice little place.clean and calm.accessible even if you dont stay over. Restaurant open for breakfast lunch and dinner.also open bar with swimming pool and pool available for outsiders. Owner and team very kind. Good atmosphere.

Perfect location close to the center and the the beach we liked best after have tried the three we got recommended, Grand Baie. But best, the friendly staff at the hotell, and personal feeling, biljard, pool. All fresh and nice design.

Just unforgettable!
We were initially 10 to arrive at Le Pole and 13 when we left. 3 friends joined us on the last night. The hosts, Luc and Veronique did everything possible to make our stay a memorable and enjoyable one. We were pleasantly surprised with our rooms which were clean and spacious. We had 2 deluxe and 2 family rooms. I have to admit that we were a very loud crowd and poor Luc had to cope with us. He has a great sense of humour. Breakfast was more than enough to start the day and at Rs300/Aus$10 there were no complaints.. Jus de fruits, Coffee (which included, cappucino, white, espresso), pains aux chocolat, croissants, de la confiture and eggs anyway you liked. We thank Luc, Veronique, Anthony, Christien and Sunita for a wonderful experience at Le Pole. Luc, I am more than comfortable to highly recommend your guest house to any of my family and friends from Australia, Reunion and Mauritius. De la part de ma ptite famille, je vous dis un grand Merci encore pour un séjour inoubliable passè dans votre établissement. 🤩 on reviendra, ca c'est certain.

Very nice and cosy place
Me and my husband went there for our honeymoon for 4 days and it was a really wonderful place. The food there were beyond excellent. Luc and Valerie are very nice people. We loved the cocktails. Rooms are clean and the cleaning ladies are also nice people.
Overall we have really enjoyed our stay. A place to go again. We surely miss the Le Pole and mostly the food and cocktails.

Le Pôle hotel was initially recommended to me by a friend. It's a budget hotel with decent rooms and a nice swimming pool, he said. He was right.
The rooms have the basics (A/C, bathroom, bed, sofa, TV, WiFi) but you can see that there has been a successful effort to add decoration and comfort to them. The rooms are not cramped and feel appropriately luxurious.
Breakfast at Le Pôle is outstanding. I can't stop stuffing my face with the simplest of foods during breakfast and I admit that Le Pôle's coffee was my first time truly enjoying coffee.
I celebrated my mum's birthday at Le Pôle in 2018. We had their veg pizza and it was absolutely mind-blowing. I recommend eating there if you're in the region. Well worth it.
Le Pôle plays host to Ilectrique Bike: you can rent an electric bike on the spot at Le Pôle.
It's hard not to like the owners. They are the friendliest of people and Luc is one of the funniest human beings I know.

Thankfully he doesn't charge for humour.

Le Pôle, an honest 5/5. Quality exceeds expectations for given price. Best budget hotel in the North. They have set an unprecedented level of expectations in me.

Rent the bicycle at le pole!!!! Everything is clean. Pool looks very nice. Food is delicious.

Amazing place. Superb food for a great price, and the rooms are comfy. Would recommend to anyone.
