M Roof Hotel & Residences

The room was very nice and spacious. The bed and pillows were super comfy, super soft near to luxurious. The location was very convenient and have ample parking space.

I recently stayed at M Roof Hotel in Ipoh and had an excellent experience. The hotel boasts a great ambience with a modern and stylish design that makes for a very pleasant stay. The rooms are large, offering ample space and comfort, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring.

Additionally, there are several department stores nearby, making it simple to shop for daily needs and other items without any hassle.

Overall, M Roof Hotel is a fantastic choice for anyone visiting Ipoh, combining great ambience, spacious rooms, and a prime location with nearby shopping options.

Modern stylish hotel with modern interiors.. however, not with the best materials or workmanship.. cupboard door doesn't close, some light moldy smells, toilet not cleaned properly and smells a little..sound proofing is not good, and water dripping and flushing sounds in pipes next to bedside not cool. If properly and frequently maintained, could have been great.

Nevertheless, it's location is good and nearby to the stadium, food courts and Aeon supermarket.

Also, the services from the reception to the cleaners, luckily from what we experienced, all were super friendly and helpful. Makes up for the mediocre rooms.

Room are spacious, in fact larger than usual. Decor are good, price are reasonable. Close to all locations due to Ipoh's own size. Staff are helpful. Happy to stay again.

Spacious rooms and bathroom, place was a delight to stay with their modern furnishing and interior design.

The food was good although breakfast offerings may be too bland for some who might demand more variety.

Awesome Christmas decorations and no efforts were spared in making the best Christmas trees I could find for this year. Just look at my photos.

Had a chicken rice lunch, the fried chicken was done really well.

I went to Ipoh in Dec 2023 and stayed M Roof Hotel. Overall, the hotel was comfortable and clean. The staff were very supportive and friendly. The location of the hotel is good with light traffic (quiet during night time). The only area consider for improvement could be the swimming pool in the hotel, the swimming pool is a bit too small and it can be quite crowded (but I believe nothing much the hotel can do due to the building size constraints). Overall I had a good stay with M Roof Hotel. Will visit them again next time when I come to Ipoh.

Really a 3.5 boutique hotel. Fairly new so it was in good shape, mostly clean. Our room was good, large enough, they upgraded us upon checkin after asking for a quiet room, nice. Thought it was a one bedroom suite, although the bedroom was separate, there was no door, so not a separate bedroom. The staff were not very service oriented, no smiles. We arrive at the hotel each day and they try very hard not to make eye contact. Front desk staff really didn't know much about anything. They provided as much drinking water or anything else, as you needed.

Pool looked dirty. Gym was too small. I didn't pay for breakfast as the reviews clearly showed it was very poor, and it was. The location for us was good as we would rather not be in the tourist area (old town). We got to go to local places for food and got a good residential vibe. Grab is cheap so we were able to go anywhere for very little.

Fair prices for the services offered. The customer service is very helpful. They have a nice open swimming pool on rooftop too.

Free self-service laundry services. ⭐️ This is super helpful for family travel with children.

RM25 hotel buffet breakfast per person, including tax. ⭐️ So affordable and clean. The food is par to standard including fruits.

The room is spacious and big tv. Good in sound proofing too. Very clean and nice.

We have a really good time here. Will definitely come back if there’s any chances.
