I stayed at this hotel for one night on a business trip. The room size is adequate for a single person like me because there is enough space for me to pray, the toilet is large and has a glass separator (yes, I prefer dry toilets), but the shower area is a little dirty, especially the bottom of the walls (which look disgusting), and it takes a while for the air conditioning to get cool/cold. Very well kept rooms. It also has a lot of shops nearby making it more convenient. One thing about this hotel is that it has a public ironing room which uses a steam iron (which doesn't work). But, other than that, The staff is really friendly.

Surprisingly the room is super clean, no stain on the bed or the pillow. Even the floor feels very smooth, the bathroom looks clean too. The only part is the room is not soundproof, you can hear people talking outside and even the next door. But during the night time it was quiet, so no worries. Can hear next door chit chat sound, my room the fridge doesn't work at all. My friend stay next door with breast feeding baby told that she throw away her breast milk Few pack of it because of the fridge doesn't work well too. The family room the bed is so comfy. Everything about this hotel is nice! The decor, the customer service, it is a nice hotel for a short stay. Located at the very heart of Old Town Ipoh. There are cafes and other attractions nearby. Everything is a walking distance. However, do note that there is no elevator here and you might need to walk up the stairs to the third floor room.

Our family stayed at the Happy 8 @ Pasir Puteh and had our wedding ceremonies there. The host was very helpful and accommodating to all our needs. The decor of the place was super artistic and makes for really good pictures. The place was clean and well kept. We had a very comfortable stay. Will recommend for anyone visiting Ipoh!

Services are good. Staff are friendly. However during our stay, the centralized AC doesn't seems to be cool enough. It's so warm that I don't even need to use the blanket to sleep at night. The shower curtain need cleaning and furniture need some refurbishment.

The hotel is in the city centre so getting to places is relatively easy. There is a Sunday street market around the hotel, so driving out may be a challenge till noon.

Clean, nice, best dorm to stay in Ipoh town. Dispite it's location it's a bit far from town from walking distance but you can still get food in nearest restaurant. The famous Chinese white coffee restaurant is not far from the dorm. Strongly recommend to stay in.

Stayed there in the weekend in December. It was 28RM only, super cheap. The staff is freindly and helpful. The room is not completely private but not a dormitory. I mean there is a door with a lock but the partition is not completely covered, so you can hear voice from neighborhood easily. It is not very very centre but walk into busy area in 5 min. The shower is OK and the hotel provides towel....

Located very near to city centre. All the local attractions are just 3-5 mins drive from this hotel. Hotel area not so noisy and the room is quite spacious too. Its just parking get full by night and you need to park outside of hotel if thats the case.

I think the service here is good. Front office reception is quite helpful. Allowed me to check in early at 12pm subjected to room availability. It is also safe to park vehicle whether its car or motorcycle as there are security guard on-site at night.

The Superior Double King condition was acceptable, relatively clean both the room & shower room. The hotel looks quite old, you can tell from the look of the elevator which the hotel only has one in the entire building for the guests to use.
