Great Lodge for a stop on the way south. We did a game drive and saw an amazing number of animals. Fantastic buffet dinner! The room had a heater which was so appreciated as the nights were cold!

The hotel/lodge is well located & pleasant throughout - Gondwana are a little more expensive than is average BUT their lodges are of an excellent quality & their staff are very committed to giving a good service

Nice place to stay, staff are very helpful and pleasant. On site restaurant is very good with good choice of food. Rooms are air conditioned and fair size. No TV but do you really need one! WiFi is decent enough for normal use. We had morning sun rise game drive, by the time we got there we had lost the sunrise moment which was disappointing but we had 1 1/2 game drive which was good seeing a few animals...

The campsites are all very private, each with their own shower, toilet and basin. The sites are immaculately clean and the water is hot for a lovely and refreshing shower. There is a separate basin for doing your dishes as well as a large table with seating under a roof. Each site also has its own braai. We spent two nights at the Anib Lodge and took part in the annual game count. We had one of the comfort rooms which are set a little apart. They are quite small but well appointed and we really enjoyed the very private outside sitting area. Very comfortable beds and immaculate linen and towels. The location of the campsites is absolutely breathtaking — tucked between the red Kalahari dunes, offering stunning views and unforgettable sunsets. The campsite was private and came with its own ablution facilities, which were clean and convenient. Great location. We did not have hot water in camping showers. You get charged premium price for this campsite. Would think that providing hot showers would be a given.

This place is a great first stop on your journey and is worth staying a few nights. It allows you to instantly arrive in Africa while observing wildlife just meters away. The style of the lodge and interior is modern but authentic. Activities offer great value, especially the Bushmen Walk.

We booked the horse beack safari and it was great. We had a great time at the Bagatelle Kalahari Ranch. We were warmly looked after and were able to enjoy our time. As experienced riders, we had a lot of fun on our rides. A unique experience. We would love to come back.

It’s our first visit to Africa and we loved our stay at the Bagatelle campsite. Great location and really private. We did the evening horse ride which was fun and the afternoon drive/cheetah feeding/sundowner which was interesting. The rhinos walked within a few metres of our campsite and we had an ostrich for company for our stay there. The night star talk with Panda was excellent and thoroughly recommended...
