Sesriem, Farm on D826 🧭 Map
We had an amazing time at Desert Lodge and couldn't have asked for a better experience. The accommodation was fantastic, offering stunning views and breathtaking sunsets that we will never forget. One of the highlights was the affordable and delicious BBQ option, which we thoroughly enjoyed.
The proximity to Dead Vlei was also perfect – it made visiting the iconic site so easy and convenient. Additionally...
Nice and comfortable bungalows with some stunning views next to the national park entrance. You can park your car next to the bungalow. The staff was nice, they booked dinner for us at the nearby Sesriem Lodge. You can watch the sunset from there.
Absolutely breathtaking. The staff were friendly and very helpful. Rooms are beautiful, neat and tidy with stunning views. They have a bar right there in the middle of the desert. So peaceful.
After staying in the Desert Quiver Camp last year, this year we booked the Desert Camp. It's equally beautiful, with nice beds, a proper shower and convenient storage space. The view is magnificent and the people very friendly. Nothing can beat the dinner under the stars at the lodge. Of course the closeness to Sossusvlei is the main reason to stay here, but the pool area is nice as well.
Desert camp was a wonderful place to stay. The cabin was spacious, comfortable and very clean. The location absolutely stunning (and convenient) and we very much enjoyed a poolside drink each afternoon. The staff were also friendly and helpful.
Desert Camp exceeded our expectations and is highly recommended.
Wonderful views from the veranda. Nicely appointed apartment. The beds leave a lot to be desired. They were like climbing into a bath. They need to be replaced. Only continental tourists would be willing to pay the rates that they ask. Very nice to stay there after camping elsewhere.

Le Mirage Resort & Spa
Sesriem, District Road C27, Sossusvlei area 🧭 Map
The room was luxurious and the food great value for money - the pool was too small and there were too many people
Truly an oasis in the desert, both in beauty and in style. This lodge is so majestic, and the architecture creates a feeling of royalty.
The staff were welcoming and accommodating. Wifi is not so strong or non existent in the rooms due to the thick walls. However there are certain rooms close to the reception that have wifi.
Activities the lodge offer range from hikes, quad bike rides around the...
Perfect desert paradise! Comes at a pretty penny but worth it. We did the quad bike desert tour, super fun. They also arrange Dune climbs and our guide climbed Big daddy Dune with us- sweet! It's a marvel!!!
We were there at the beginning of July. Great place, difficoult to describe becouse words are not enough! Very nice, kind and professional staff. Special thanks to Silvester, very careful with the need our daughter regarding gluten-free meal and for the unforgettable location he prepared for our last dinner at Le Mirage. Grazie from the italian family Filiberto!
Very nice hotel. No wifi in rooms and quite expensive but overall it's very nice. Any extras quickly load the bill. The setting is really magical. The spa is average, quad bikes are expensive but worth it.
Amazing place! The rooms are quite expensive, but you get what you pay for. The view from the balcony is top notch. And the service is great. Friendly staff.

Desert Quiver Camp
Sesriem, Farm On D826 / C27, Sossusvlei 🧭 Map
We had a very nice stay at Desert Quiver camp. The little bungalow was comfortable. There is a beautiful view on the surrounding valleys. Also the food provided at the Sosusvlei Lodge was excellent.
We had a great stay at the Desert Quiver Camp. The bungalows are spacious and the views amazing. The pool is a highlight, as well as the sundowner and the starry sky. Great place to spend some nights very close to Sossusvlei.
Pity there was nowhere to stand kettle inside the unit.
Also plugs for charging phones are at floor level with nowhere to place phones (we had to rest them in our shoes - not very elegant). Would advise a small bedside table /shelf at same level as beds.
Small plastic chairs with a backrest would add to comfort.
Really enjoyed our 2 day stay, Great open air bar and pool, set against a kopje, Great sunsets. Nicely spaced, well appointed chalets for privacy. Great base for the dunes. Have to go to Sissusvlei Lodge for meals though, a small inconvenience.
Essentially a very large hut. My wife and I loved the place. As others probably mentioned no internet in the rooms however you are in a very isolated part of the country and are there to see the Namib Desert, making the location amazing. We saw a lone wildebeest practically in the camp which was so cool as it was our first of the trip. The rooms were very clean and kept well. Provided everything we...
