I was quarantined in this hotel for 2 days when I went to Qatar for job. I liked the service of this hotel and the food was also good. The room I stayed in was plush and royal look which I loved. The bed was very comfortable. The view outside the window was very nice, nice and high-rise buildings were visible from it, which I found very attractive.
I had tea and coffee facilities in this room. But I didn't like one thing in my room which was that there was no Indian toilet seat in the attached washroom because i don't feel comfortable in english toilet seat. Apart from English toilet seat, hotel management should also arrange Indian toilet seat in the washrooms.

Mixed Buffet Experience - Worth it on Mondays, but beware of the price and offerings on other days
I recently visited the buffet at Layaly Saraya, and my overall experience with the food and ambiance was average. Here's a breakdown of my observations:
Experience and Food: The overall experience and food quality were just average, not exceptional.
Variety and Value: The buffet offered a good selection of items, but I must admit, it didn't seem worth the QAR 59 price tag.
Water and Beverage Pricing: I was taken aback by the exorbitant charges for a small water bottle (QAR 15) and beverages like Pepsi (QAR 17ish). Guests should be informed about these prices upfront, as it's common to assume water is free and included in the buffet.
Chicken Dishes: Unfortunately, the chicken dishes were below par and quite tough to chew.
Beef and Fish Dishes: On the brighter side, the beef and fish dishes were a delightful surprise and cooked to perfection.
Soup and Bread Selection: The soup selection was disappointing, and there were very few options for bread.
Spreads: On a positive note, the buffet did offer a good platter of spreads, including Hummus, which was enjoyable.
Desserts: Each dessert fell below expectations, and what's worse is they didn't refill the desserts that ran out, replacing them with less satisfactory alternatives.
In conclusion, I would recommend going to Layaly Saraya on Mondays when they offer a reasonable deal of QAR 59 for two people. However, on other days with a price of QAR 49 for one person, I believe the overall food quality and variety may not be up to par. Keep in mind the extra charges for water and beverages, which can add up quickly and impact the overall dining experience.
Ultimately, it boils down to personal preference and budget, but I hope this review helps you make an informed decision about your visit to Layaly Saraya. Happy dining!

I had went for dinner with my friends in their Layaly restaurant. The food is worst. I have never had this bad experience in any restaurant. I went for a buffet but not even a single food was good. Some items they didn't mention the proper name. Spagetti had beef in it but was not mentioned. Worst restaurant. Don't visit their restaurant.

The worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. I didn’t even book it by choice. I was forced to do so at the airport after they have cancelled my booking because the hotel I booked was not one of the quarantine hotels in 2021.
I was expecting a “5” star hotel, but the sheets were dirty, the decor is old, the room is small and the bathrooms were dirty and had hair all over the sink and bathtub. The hotel decor is so old, and it didn’t have a “corniche” view. For a quarantine hotel all I wanted was cleanliness and sterilization, I’m not asking for fancy stuff, but I was afraid to catch covid because of how dirty the hotel was.

A good place to stay. 15 min away from Souq Waqef 🚶🏾. Wifi free. A good swimming pool. Affordable prices to stay 💰👍😊

How this is rated as a 5 star hotel we will never know! Between the rude staff, the smokey smell, the non stop noise, the lack of house keeping, and the 400 dollar per night price it was the worst experience ever! Highly unrecommended! You can literally go just about anywhere and get better treatment for a fraction of the price.

I booked for 3 nights.
First night was real nightmare.
First day My room number was 3002.
No sleep until 2 am due to high music sound from second floor night club.
Reception staff were not ready to change my room even after complaining many times . They told after 2 am there will be no sound 😇.
Next day morning I went to reception and told them if you’re not ready to change my room to a calm floor , I will sleep on the reception sofa next to them.otherwise return money.
Luckily they shifted me to 9th floor and that was much better . I could sleep 🤗rest of may stay.
I will never select this hotel again.

A hotel more like a nightclub. There’s so much noise in this place till 1am. Good luck sleeping. No matter what floor you hear trash. According to taxi drivers, this hotel is a place where bad women go, to meet men. Which kinda made sense why the card keys were only needed to get to floors during the day, and not at night. There was drunk people in elevator. The staff was slow to check out. The toilet was small so small. Area was ok.

When you walk into the hotel, it shows that it is a 5 star but definitely is not. There is a lingering smoke smell in the room. Bathroom is so small, the door doesn't even open half way. My husband couldn't even stand straight while showering as the shower head was so low. The corridors smell like you are in a public bathroom. Booked and paid to stay 3 nights but checked out after 1 night as our stay was horrible. The receptionist did not even ask why we were checking out so suddenly.

I stayed in this hotel with my family during the world cup tournament. It is absolutely a decent hotel and has an amazing location.
Everything was good. Rooms were clean and nicely decorated. Staff were very helpful and friendly.
Amit from reception was very helpful and ready for support. Thanks Amit for your support 🙏
