We loved our time at First Villa. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff was so helpful, offering us advise on where to go and helped secure a taxi and scooter rental. We enjoyed delicious food from the restaurant, overlooking the water each day. The beach was great for lounging and swimming, and the location was convenient to enjoy many parts of the island.

"First villa"? More like a "last shack", the staff is okay, indifferent and does the bare minimum, they seem to care only about revenue, the place is neglected, criminally neglected, for 2000 baht per night we got a small, musty, falling apart room, with a leak in the bathroom, which doesn't seem to have been renovated since the 70s, the water pressure in the shower is simply non-existent, a water spout that barely manages to remove the soap from the body, the water in the toilet, which is full of black stains, barely goes down and you have to flush it several times when you defecate, the sides and floor of the pool are yellow and full of mold, they also don't provide pool towels, the window panes in the room aren't really hermetically closed and you can hear every noise outside as if it were in the room. I can't understand where the courage comes from to call this ruin a resort and even more so I don't understand how people agree to pay these amounts for such poor value.

We had a rest with a big company, liked spacious and bright rooms, good restaurant, big swimming pool with sea view, green territory and friendly staff, not very good road from the highway to the hotel, but with bikes it did not cause us problems, I recommend bungalow with pool view and improved rooms with garden view.

Mixed feelings for our stay at First Villa - the room was okay, not too bad, but definitely needs some upgrades. Not many plugs in the room and the ones that are there are in such awkward places. The menu at the restaurant didn’t have many vegetarian or vegan options either so was forced to eat elsewhere during our stay. The wifi signal was really bad unfortunately. Was nice that there were a few bottles of water in the fridge for us though! Location was infront of the ocean and many palm trees with coconuts all around which was great. In general, not too bad for the price!

It is a very quiet and friendly place. I can only agree with all the positive reviews. Lovely large sea-front rooms. Enough loungers for all. Easy swim in the sea. And a super restaurant which closes early but totally worth staying in for dinner.

The bungalow is located on the shore, the territory is small, but green. There is a small pool, sun loungers, a hammock, beach pillows. The restaurant is connected to the lobby, a good view of the sea. But it works until 19-00, which they warn you about right away. The house is clean, there is everything you need: a refrigerator, a hair dryer, a safe, a TV, a wardrobe with hangers, a kettle, cups, glasses, coffee, but the houses themselves are not new, the furniture is comfortable, but also old. The bed is comfortable, the pillow is not very good, but this is individual, I think. The bed linen is clean, they did not give a towel for the beach. The air conditioning works well, the temperature is comfortable. The staff is friendly. The location is normal, it was easy to walk in 20 minutes from the pier. The sea is clean, but shallow. I stayed only for 1 night, it is quite suitable for a short stay.

We booked this lovely place for a day and then our plans changed and we needed to reschedule the dates . Even though they didn’t have to make a cancellation, lovely staff still did it and we rebooked it for the next day! Very chill ,zen place , right on the beach. A bit of old school but we are here for it!
