I have visited River Kwai Village Hotel a few times. The last 3 times I have tried to book down on the river (Raft room), but each time I have been told they had closed them down, also this time when only the new wing was open. However, it turned out to be a half-truth, because there were a few companies who were staying partly in the Raft Room and Pool wing. The new wing (Cliff wing) is beautiful...

Quiet getaway. Spacious room (2 queen beds). Hard bed like Thai style which I love. Free snack and soda in the room. Going to Onsen and Spa (15 pools) by boat (2min). Feel like locals. Very convenient!

You could stay here a week and still find things to do! Beautiful, friendly staff! Amazing rooms with incredible views. Delicious food, whether, breakfast lunch and dinner! 3 awesome pools to choose from. Adventure activities!, relaxing spa pools. and peaceful walks. Great value with lovely kind staff and stunning quality of lifestyle. Best Hotel on the River Kwai!

Very nice hotel by the river kwai... Clean, near of everything, relaxing, pool bar, swimming pools, large & confortable rooms, karaokê... what else?! U can just cross the bridge and have a nice lunch

Call the place in traffic on this old floating Hotel the which one removes sometimes when you try to sleep get candy and noisy lot of noise it's not the best but it's a little rustic and the place is hard to find it for me so with that I want to say you know what's not worth it price very expensive

The food is absolutely amazing. We ordered 7 dishes and every dish was so good. A lovely place on the River Kwai. The staff are excellent and the service is fantastic. You simply must stop here when you're in Kanchanaburi. 💜⚘

Really kind and helpfull lady who brought us a couple times with her car to the main road. She cooked very good food for a good price. Beds and bathroom were fine. The area around the resort was really beautifull. Price/quality really good. Would recommend this place to everybody.

There are rooms next to the water, there is a balcony overlooking the River Kwai. The house and bed are very clean. shady atmosphere with trees The owner selects the guests.

Beautiful view, right on the river. Clean rooms. Friendly service. Stay clear of the cat - it bites. Note it is the right turn after the one pinned on Google Maps - Google has you going to a pomelo farm.

We like this Resort too much. Very good experience of riverside house, river rafting, barbecue, morning atmosphere, breakfast super.

Stayed at Star Hill River Khwae Resort's raft house and had a great time. The staff were super friendly and helpful, and they even had a buggy to carry our luggage. Nice touch!

All I can say is 😯 to my experience here. I've been many places and this one is on my fave checklist. I will invite you to go here. I can guarantee you will enjoy the experience here like me ☺️

It's a nice place but plenty of walking is required. There are several accommodations one can choose from. There's breakfast, and they taste good.

Good place to stay away from all the hustle. They have several types of room to choose from with all its own concept. Breakfast and dinner are included in their price which makes it easier as hard to drive out to get food. Quite far and tucked away but if you have a car and want some privacy and peacefulness this place is recommended. The view and scenery makes driving here worth it 👌

Sam's house is located at the party area of Kachanaburi full of drink places. The rooms were tidy and with AC. Very cheap and well located. Nice town to visit the bridge on the river Kwai, Erawan waterfalls and tiger cave.

A very nice place, and indeed in the jungle - Sam and his staff are very friendly and that alone made me feel very well here. The private swimming place by the river - very wild, very good. I was camping here, so I can't say anything about the accomodation though.

Nice place to stay! With live jungle sound .. only some steps to the river. Easy furniture .. all not in the best shape, but all works and for the first it looks clean. Nice place to relax. .. and jes, the dogs are barking only sometimes.. but comon .. they are protecting the areal. They are friendly! The stuff is speaking not really english.. but they are helpful with hands and google translator...

Service providers take good care of their customers. ...It doesn't take long to check-in. The rooms are clean and the bathrooms are clean. Each room is spaced. distance from each room for privacy ... A really nice place for a holiday...especially if you want a break from the noisy cbd!! Would definitely go there again I really like it soooo much especially the friendly staff! The price is really cheap too. Really satisfied with the room and services!

Very good, friendly, inexpensive. Come in a lot, the price is reasonable. If low-income people want to relax, Araya Resort is the final answer.

A big room with good river view. Food is good. Floating down the river is a must which they offer for free.

Private zone for relaxing view! Room size is very huge! Dinner was very tasty! If you want to try Thai food.. here is the perfect choice. They cook very delicious and over expectation! There are bell boys for picking up your belonging! Super nice service!

Great location, very good food, free river rafting, and modern villas. Dinner both nights was amazing. On time, not expensive and prepared very well. The American breakfast was not good, but the Thai breakfast was excellent. Some of the buffet food on Sunday was good, but they ran out of food at 9am. The rooms looked nice but they are fairly worn. Quite. Nice and clean rooms. Food is fine. Avoid fish. Friendly staff. Bamboo rafts are fun, even in the rain!
