Location was great, but the rooms lack ambiance and a local cultural feel to it. Though the room was clean and the bed was comfy. The garden room stares at another room directly opposite (big glass door) and there are only blackout and no lighter curtains if you want privacy. Room rate had included breakfast and I had looked forward to a simple Thai breakfast, but breakfast options had only Western food. Overall disappointing, but has potential to do better if services and ambiance could be improved.

If you need a relax and chill, trust me, choose this place. The sound of the sea when you wake up is so lovely. Good personel they arranged a shuttle for us, also you can get a better price than on a booking, and you can rent a motorbike. I totally recommend

We had a wonderful stay at Baanfah Resort! Our garden-view room was very spacious, as was the bathroom, and everything was cleaned thoroughly every day. We felt completely at ease from the moment we arrived.
The beach right in front of the hotel is beautiful – clean, quiet, and there are always sunbeds available, even if you come down around midday. The pool is also lovely and a great place to cool off if the sea is a bit too warm.
The staff were extremely friendly and always had a smile for us. Every day we received fresh water bottles and two sets of towels – one for the bathroom and one for the beach.
A truly relaxing holiday – we would definitely come back!

I stayed one night at this hotel, it was a wonderful first evening in Samui, almost straight off the flight and into the sea! My room faced on to the beach and was perfect for a wake up swim. I enjoyed a lovely breakfast at the hotel. Only one downside was that the wall between the two rooms were thin and I heard quite a lot of noise from the neighbours. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Baanfah is nice hotel.Breakfast sober and Limited choice, but fresh fruits and instantly fried eggs of your choice. Location directly at maenam beach. Beach is public,but on the area of the hotel regulary cleaned.
Our room was very clean and spacious.Only recommendation is to hanging curtains on small top windows in the room. On daytime room is very bright,due to incoming sunlight. Staff is friendly and attent to help you.Will recommend.

The room is okay compared to the price. It's good that it's next to the sea, the beach is nice and beautiful, but the room with a sea view is expensive. The room inside without a view is a bit cheaper. Some things in the room may need to be renovated, but if something is broken, the staff will come and fix it. However, there may not be enough cleaning staff to clean the room in time. You have to ask for things to use in the room.

On the beach is the main plus point. But not much else to go by. Quiet area of the island.
Bar shuts very early and never saw anyone in the restaurant. The rooms are old and need some work. But the beach is fantastic and many restaurants and massages around. Short walk to 7-11. Location 5*
