Four Seasons Resort Koh Samui - SHA Extra Plus

Easy 5/5 stars! This hotel was outstanding in every possible way. The location is stunning, the staff is INCREDIBLE, the food is delicious and rooms and facilities are unreal. I have stayed in many luxury hotels in my life and the level of service here is completely unmatched. The hotel is incredibly well-staffed and the staff is gracious, friendly and attentive. Every detail is personalized. If you have the chance to stay here, don’t miss it.

So worth to splurge when you come to Koh Samui!
5 stars for the villa, view, service, staff, food, and facilities.

We received complimentary upgrade to Island Pool Villa and birthday cake because we arrived exactly on my birth date.
The villa is impeccable with one of THE most comfortable hotel bed by far. The staffs are so kind and friendly, their service is so well thought even to the smallest thing (like putting the TV remote by side of the bed in the evening and leaving it by the TV in the afternoon, the sweets left 1 day before we leave the hotel). We've stayed at various 5 star hotels & private islands yet FS Koh Samui is definitely one of our best stay.

The breakfast buffet didn't have hundreds of dishes like usual hotel buffet yet the quality of each dish is so great it's restaurant worthy. I'd choose quality over quantity at any times. On the side they offer breakfast ala-carte menu which were also delicious.
We had dinner at Koh Thai and it does not disappoint! I requested for roti (not in menu) to go with my curry, and the chef made it for us.

They have daily free activities everyday, do check it out. We did free photoshoot and it was so well done.

One minor downside is the beach area. It's a bit shallow even during high tide and full of stones & dead corals so if you enjoy swimming in the sea / snorkeling, you have to go a bit far.
During low tide and with Koh Samui sun, the sea water nearer to beach was at least almost 40 degree. The beach pool water temperature was also rather warm, but we enjoy our villa's pool!

All I can say is wow!, we’ve stayed at some of the best hotels around the world and many noteable four seasons hotels but this has to rank as number 1. Everything was incredible, rooms, service, beach, and layout. I would recommend this hotel to absolutely everyone. We can’t wait to come back.

Amazing view at the bar. Just stopped in for a drink. Extremely friendly valet and caddy service even for non guests. Views spectacular. Can't wait for The White Lotus Season 3!

5 Star resort. Excellent service and amenities. Only drawback is that very hilly and steep paths. Need to call hotel golf cart to go any where in the resort. Can be difficult during the monsoon rainy season.

All I can say is WOW! I applaud the property manager because this Four Seasons is phenomenal! I had my wedding here and it was a wonderful dream! Tangmo FSKOH was the person in charge of my wedding and I cannot thank her enough for the beautiful elegance, preparation, and attention to detail. Her attention was perfect. The service, the property, the ambiance, and the food are simply out of this world. I recommend to have your wedding here and also stay because I really enjoyed everything and if I could give this place 20 stars or 100 I would!

The staff here (especially Tangmo) made our wedding the day of our dreams. The resort is insanely gorgeous and we are so happy we decided to get married here. The food was incredible and our room was absolutely stunning. We felt so taken care of from check in to check out. Can’t wait to return!

Heavenly experience from check-in to check-out. I booked through Amex Platinum’s Fine Hotels & Resorts program which gave me early check-in, late check-out (the hotel was kind enough to let me check out even later, just before my evening flight to the ariport), free breakfasts (which were fantastic), $100 resort credit, and a room upgrade to a Premier Ocean-View Pool Villa. The villa was mind-blowing—extremely private, beautifully appointed, incredibly spacious, and with an enormous outdoor space and infinity pool. The villa felt like it was set within the jungle but also had an expansive ocean view.

Getting around the large property was easy thanks to the on-call golf carts, which were readily available, though I highly recommend walking the paths as well. Again, you will feel like you are in a jungle.

I reviewed the restaurants separately, but all were sublime: Pla Pla for lunch and dinner, KOH Thai Kitchen for breakfast and dinner. Also, the Fisherman’s Night barbeque/buffet was exceptional.

When I finally dragged myself away from the private villa pool, the main pool and beach did not disappoint. Soft, white sand on the beach, very comfortable lounge chairs and cabana beds, huge pool (which was immaculately clean, as were the pool restrooms). There are also a number of activities available at the beach. I snorkeled in the resort’s own reef, which had an impressive variety of fish and coral.

The spa (and all facilities) were stunning. I am not generally one for massages but went out on a limb and booked the traditional Thai massage at the spa. It may have turned me into a massage enthusiast, and I am still feeling the benefits.

Lastly, the staff was the friendliest, most welcoming and helpful I have ever had the pleasure of meeting (I should note that the Four Seasons Chiang Mai was equally outstanding). I wish I had written down all of the names so that I could give them their much-deserved individual thanks. Also, make sure you speak with Branka, the food and beverage manager. She is the epitome of positive energy, was an absolute delight to get to know, and gave stellar advice for dining (including off-grounds) and other activites. She, and the rest of the staff, are truly an asset to the Four Seasons, and I can’t thank them enough.

Long story short, I am already thinking about planning a return visit.

What a stay! Everything was perfect, from the level of service, through the quality of the rooms and facilities, to the location and atmosphere.
We went with our three young children, and everyone had a great time. The staff is very child friendly and accommodating, and we never felt uncomfortable for the noise or mess we were making.
The food was fantastic, and the themed dinners were exceptional - especially the buffet on the beach.
The setting of the resort is also amazing. The gardening and natural topography are beautiful, and the beach is very private and pristine.
Bottom line - would recommend this place hands down.
