The resort offers a peaceful retreat away from the city. Rooms at the resort are decorated in a traditional style and feature a balcony with a beautiful view of the ocean and the beach.

Location: 12 km from airport Samui, on Maenam beach.
Consists of three 3-storey buildings 1 four-storey villas.
The hotel has 32 rooms.
Total area: 4 800 m2.
Beach: public, sandy beach 30 m away, the first coastal line. Umbrellas, mattresses, towels – free of charge.

Mimosa Resort was so wonderful. We stayed 11 nights in a pool villa. It is located in a quiet area of Samui so if you dont like the hustle and bustle this is perfect. We were so sad to leave. The Resort staff treat you and look after you like family. The resturant had fantastic food, buffet breakfast was awesome. Happy hour for cocktails was great. We are definately bringing our family bavk with us next time to Mimosa. It was our home away from home and we loved every bit. Thank you to the amazing staff. You are all beautiful humans🥰🥰

The resort is very well situated at Ban Tai beach, it is well maintained, we had the family suite which was really nice. Staff at reception are also nice and super helpful. They aslo have a pleasant bar-restaurant by the beach.

We spent 3 nights at the Mimosa Resort, the last part of our 3 weeks travelling in Thailand.
We made a last minute booking but they managed to arrange two adjacent rooms so that we could stay close with the kids (we did not ask and expected this, but it was a nice surprise).
We just had a wonderful stay and we recommend this resort to everyone who is looking for a relaxing staying.
What we appreciated the most:
- First, the staff. Everyone was very kind and helpful (reception, restaurant, pool service etc)
- very nice swimmingpool with a stunning view
- location (quiet and away from the crowded koh samui), directly on the beach
- nice and clean rooms. With a quite (no noisy) air conditioning!
- restaurant: great breakfast, great view, nice cocktails and great personnel. Prices are a bit higher than other restaurants, but between 11 and 15 there are special offers (fruit shakes and juices are amazing!) And between 16 and 19 happy hour! Also, there are other restaurants very nearby
- beach: quite, clean and stunning view
- possibility to rent peddle board, kayak, snorkel set for free
A perfect place for who does not like crowded places.

This place has the luxurious style with a decent price and a super nice and attentive staff and a very good (quite expensive) restaurant!
Rooms are just perfect! each one of has it's own outdoor hot tub.
Great clean pool, A little far from main street and restaurants but you can go grab a meal in the resorts nearby or in the resort great restaurant.

My wife and I stayed at the Mimosa for 11 days it's was such a relaxing time,all the staff from the gardener's, cleaners and hospitality workers were always friendly and helpful . It's a little secluded and having a mode of transport is a must.The hotel has,pushbikes motorbikes for hire at a reasonable price.A beautiful beach with great sunsets would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful resort in an amazing quiet location. Right on the beach with some of the most beautiful views I've seen in Koh Samui. Service was top-notch. Everyone was incredibly friendly and helpful. Would come back just to see the amazing women who run the front desk!

Absolutely the best place to stay in Koh Samui when looking for chill and rest!
+ quiet location, away from the crowded street
+ friendly and helpful people
+ very delicious breakfast (a lot of options to choose from, vegetarian as well)
+ spacious room (villa with private pool)
+ very clean room, restaurant and pool
+ beautiful beach (when good weather conditions)
-/+ road leading to the hotel is very bouncy and when it’s raining it gets really hard to walk/ride (but it is not the resort fault, they are doing their best to make it safe

Beautiful Resort Overall!
We had a Room with private swimming pool which was an incredible experience.
Sadly we were somewhat unhappy regardless. The Bed was hard and I could barely sleep through the night. Our toilet was located outside which means it is very prone to mosquitoes and there were A LOT. For our bed we had a mosquito net which may have saved the remaining sleep I got.
We were also quite dissatisfied with the „Gym“ which wasn’t nearly enough to get any workout done.
I wouldn’t visit again.
Service was good, staff very friendly.

Stayed here for 3 weeks in August 2023 and it was a great experience. This is a newer resort in a beautiful and quiet side of the island right in front of the beach. The hotel has great "island vibes" architecture with a welcoming feel. The Mimosa Stars restaurant is right across the street and offers room service as well. Only downside is the location is quite remote and you will definitely need to rent a scooter or book a Grab to explore other parts of the island. Also, the in-room wifi was spotty in my suite, not sure if it was just a one off. Very friendly hotel staff. Would definitely stay here again!
