If you want great value and don't mind not being at a fancy beach front resort this place is ideal. We started for 5 nights. You can access the beach for a swim, there is a small pool area at the cottages. The cottages are clean and comfortable. There are tasty Thai restaurants very close by. You are not far from a busy main road so beaware you can hear it from the units. It didn't bother us at night as we are not light sleeps. Not a problem during the day. The Manager speaks great English and she is a warm lovely woman who cannot do enough for her guests. She made our stay special.

I am delighted! Nice, cozy place. The staff is super polite, like in a luxury hotel. There is a swimming pool. The room was very comfortable, smelled nice. The only thing was that there was an unpleasant strange smell in the bathroom. And maybe the room could be painted a little. And I was a little upset that they changed the roofs, they are not like in the photo in the description, I really like this natural design. There is a refrigerator, umbrella, water, air conditioning. The beach is not far away. I was very pleased. I recommend!

A wonderful mini-hotel for its price! The location allows you to walk to the beach in a couple of minutes through the neighboring beautiful hotel. The staff is very polite, helped to book tickets for the speedboat. I recommend!

We stayed here for two weeks in December, for the price point this is definitely 5 stars. O is a credit to the white cottage and was so helpful. She prepared a secret birthday cake for me and sang happy birthday. It’s the little things.
The accommodation is great too, comfy bed, good air con and shower. The pool was nice too and got sunlight for a few hours.

Nice, accessible crew. They assisted us with booking of trips and gave us basic information for getting araound the isle.
Our family room was simple but OK. Hot water in the shower and cold AC. Quiet and peaceful place. We used the bags outside to chill in the evening. Both Big C mine and 7/11 are close by.

Honest review from Australian couple:
Checked in to 1st room and asked to change rooms the following day as the following issues!
❌Air con was not working correctly.
❌Noise all night from water tank out the back.
❌shower room way to small as the whole floor gets socking wet no shower screen.
❌No bulb 💡 in lamp 🪔 advised staff who changed this out!
Next room was a lot better ✅ 8/10!
✅ Staff are really good , O is a very nice lady.

We planned to stay 7 nights checked out after 2 nights due to horrendous weather. All in all was fine 8/10 from us.

We found Bophut more exspensive than everywhere else we have travelled in asia. Owner was ok, we lost our deposit as we checked out early.

We had a great time at The White Cottage. The rooms are clean, stylish and very comfortable. The staff are super friendly and helpful, which made our stay particularly enjoyable. The pool area is beautiful and perfect for relaxing. The location is also ideal - there are plenty of restaurants and bars nearby. We'll be happy to come back!

I really enjoyed staying here for a week.
O and the rest of the staff were very kind and friendly and were more than happy to help with anything I needed during my stay.
The bungalows are quite comfortable and very clean.
The mini bar fridge in my room was a bit noisy. But it was bearable. I got used it at some point 😊
There is a patio with chairs, a table and a drying rack outside of each bungalow which is quite nice to have. The place has some simple breakfast options.
It is about 15 to 20 minute walk to Fisherman's Village, and there are lots of very good restaurants and cafés nearby.
O gave me so many great recommendations and was very helpful. She's the best. Really.
Sadly, the sea wasn't that clean when I was here. But maybe it's due to the few rainy days we had. 🤷🏽♀️
