Clean Rooms
The room was impeccably clean, with fresh linens and a tidy environment. It was a perfect retreat after a day of exploring.
Excellent Service
The staff provided outstanding service throughout my stay. I arrived late, but the check-in process was smooth and efficient. They were accommodating with my request for a late check-out, ensuring I had a relaxed departure.
Communication
I was pleasantly surprised to find that I could easily reach the manager via WhatsApp for any inquiries or requests. This level of accessibility made my stay even more enjoyable.

The complimentary Wi-Fi was a great bonus, allowing me to stay connected without any hassle.
Overall, my stay at the Phuket resort exceeded my expectations. With great amenities, a beautiful pool, and exceptional service, I can't wait to return!
I’ve been coming to Soi since 2017 and have stayed at several hotels, including the original Blue Hotel and Anchan, which has always been my go-to. Since Anchan was sold out, I decided to try Marina House Muay Thai.
The hotel has a cool, industrial-artistic vibe—almost like a stylish jail—with shared spaces for working, eating, and working out. Since I’m here primarily to train and relax, I don’t mind if a place isn’t overly fancy.
When I checked into my room, it was generally put together but not properly cleaned—the floor hadn’t been mopped, and there was a stain on my blanket. After mentioning it to the front desk, they immediately apologized and had everything cleaned thoroughly, which I appreciated.
The AC units are quite loud, but I found a workaround by using the one in the main area and keeping my door open. However, the real issue was with the cleaning staff—they were inconsistent. Some days they did a fantastic job, while other days it felt like they barely cleaned at all, even when I tipped them.
Another frustration was my leaking toilet, which happened twice. Despite politely asking for it to be fixed, it remained an issue.
Overall, the hotel isn’t bad, but it’s showing signs of neglect. Unlike long-standing hotels like Anchan, where the quality of care is evident, Marina House seems to be struggling with maintenance and staffing. Management really needs to get the cleaning staff on the same page or hire more people to keep up with demand.
I wouldn’t say it’s a terrible place to stay, but given the inconsistency, I’ll be looking elsewhere next time.
The furniture and room now looks as if it needs renovation.
The location is great if you rent a bike or car. There are lots of cafes and food stores around.
The breakfast is ok.
I’ve been there the first time 2 years ago and it was very new and good but this time it’s the worst place! It’s very old and dirty. This should never cost more then 20$ the night. I booked it 8 month before and when I checked in via booking I had to pay 400$ more! I paid for 6 weeks 2200€! For a small dirty and old place. The noise from the Kangaroo Bar was horrible till 3 am in the morning!
The rooms are tiny and rusty.
It needs a total renovation! If you get it for 20€ then it’s ok but never go there vor more then 2 days and over 20€!
The pool is also very dirty and the people there spitting form the Balkony.
My first impression of the hotel when walked to my room is like a jail. See photo.
After walking the street came back to the room. It was superhot and the undersized airconditioning is not able to keep up with a tiny room cool down. They only give you one key so you cant run the AC and wait outside somewhere until your room cools down.
So now I laying on my bed what is hard like a rock and sweating.
I am thinking just get an other comfortable room outside of this area.
I rented room better like this for 500THB. This room is 2000THB.
I told the front desk, after there’s 2guys don’t know English and keep trying to enter our room.
We freaked out, after realized they came for cleaning the room.
I report to front desk about they came to our room without uniforms, they just said it’s because they clocked out at 6pm,so they didn’t wearing uniforms, even the staff identity card.
And the AC,there’s some pieces of tissue right there,i don’t know what’s for, suspecting that is it possible someone put the hidden cam inside that.
The balcony can go straight to the pool, and anyone can enter to your room if you didn’t lock the door.
The whole experience just made me felt very insecure.
