Anantara Golden Triangle Elephant Camp & Resort - SHA Certified, Chiang Saen1 / 31

Chiang Saen, 229 Moo 1, Chiang Saen - Mae Sai 🧭 Map
This is simply unforgettable. The elephant walk (with our guide Tao and elephant caretakers), our local tour guide (Wee to teach us about history of the Golden Triangle, ) and the cooking class with PJ (walking the local market and making the best TomYum and Pad Thai). Everyone at the Camp and Resort strive to give us the best service and care. Last but not least, the chefs who make us top...
Anantara Golden Triangle is a nice place to stay in Chang Rai. Nice food, nice Chef, courteous staff and just a perfect place to stay for a vacation away from city. They offer several activities as well and walking with the gentle elephants is what I enjoyed most. Thank you Nancy, thank you Chef, ate Moan and all. Kiddos to all of you. See you again soon!!!
Our experience in this paradise was amaizing, we love every single detail, Brooklyn, Sacha and all the staff from front desk were excellent and very friendly, Poy an the staff in the spa was amazing, as well San from the Bar and everyone from the restaurant and the activities were so delightful, the experience with the elephants was incredible, and overwhelming, we were very impressed with all the...
The breakfast was our favorite. More than enough food for every appetite!Happy hour and cocktails were delightful! Our favorite server was Cha Cha. She was engaging and attentive! Oil was our bartender! She was fun, engaging and made a great margarita! The pool was always clean warm and staff always kept our drinks full! The concierge service was always helpful when asked! Plus from day one they all...
If we could give 1000000000/10 we would. This place knows how to do top notch hospitality and experiences. The elephants were incredible as to be expected but in addition to that, the food is the best we have had our whole trip, the little details down to mini welcome massages when we arrived, and complementary insulated water bottles to take with with us, were what makes an exceptional resort stand...
Our stay at the Anantara Chiang Mai was, without question, the highlight of our trip—and hands down the best hotel experience we’ve ever had. From the moment we arrived, the level of service, care, and genuine hospitality was exceptional. The team went above and beyond at every opportunity. A special thank you to Tuk, Noon, Nancy, and Anna—each one of them made us feel not just welcome, but truly...

This camp is great! The scenery is beautiful. Love the elephants! The very nice tents are spectacular, and the food & drinks are to be enjoyed. The best part is the wonderful employees. So friendly & helpful. It was so nice that we were always addressed by name. Thanks for a great visit – we’ll be back!
foi tudo incrível! uma experiência de acampamento premium!! mas esteja ciente que o banho é externo e a noite faz friozinho! mas o aquecimento do quarto é rápido e potente! ahhh… e claro, os elefantes no café da manhã
Words cannot describe the amazing experience we had at Four Seasons Tented Camp. From the moment we arrived by boat, we were greeted by Macall and incredible team. With only 16 Tents at the resort, we were able to get to know each staff member personally and felt like an extended part of their family, even after only a 2 night stay. The food and beverage program was top notch, and extremely customizable...
Pricy-but well worth it. The staff are incredible and make sure you don’t have to even think of planning anything. You will be well taken care of. From the moment we were picked up in Chiang Mai, I knew we didn’t have to worry about a thing. Took a cool boat ride to see the Golden Triangle and arrive in a fun way. Nice to spend time with the elephants and see the local temples. I fell asleep during...
Not easy to find this place if you decide to be here by driving. It is about 1 hour from Chain Rai airport. Wonderful place to enjoy/relax in forest. River front tented camp and can see borders of Myanmar, Laos and Thailand which is called Golden Triangle. Most priceless experience is walking with elephants. You can enjoy talking to the guides in English and he explains history of the tour, gives you...
Please take time to read this review. I initially hesitated on sharing this terrible experience in public. However, I believe it is important to share so that people can form their own opinions. I recently found myself in a truly horrifying situation with my family. The hotel arranged a little elephant encounter excursion for us, and everything seemed to go smoothly. We all had a great time and a...

Amazing little resort next to the Mekong river. Beautiful views over Laos.
This resort is amazing, all rooms with AC, pool, gazebo, restaurant, sunflower field What more could you ask for 500bht for the smallest room They call a tuktuk for you if you want to go into the city And can sell some tours in the area as well
On the banks of the Mekong river. A bit difficult to find but rooms are clean, beds were comfortable and the staff was accommodating. Food in the restaurant was decent. Parking is a bit tight.
Nice and clean. Great Mekong river view
Beautiful decoration. Very friendly staff. Nice food. Greatest view.

12/13/21 very good hosts, they helped us with everything we needed and the rooms were very good. Perfect quality price.
Used bungalow. Aircon worked well. Bed comfortable. TV with satellite - found France 24 after long search. Shower had soap and shampoo dispenser. Good hot water. Ground level elevated deck with private table and chairs. Road uphill gives access to female statue that can not be observed from below. In room fridge and freezer. Secure ground level on terrace bicycle parking.
Norhing special except 3 country border point
A no frills but comfortable chalet overlooking Golden Triangle Park. Other rooms across the road with limited view. Access is a approx 1km from main road with last part up steep poor condition road. Polite staff with limited English. Good place for an economical stay.
The accommodation is clean, quiet, sleeps well, the owner is friendly.

Didn't stay there but did enjoy their excellent restaurant. The best I've tried in Chiang Saen for authentic Northern and other Thai dishes. High quality ingredients and cooking. Nice ambience both indoors and outdoors. Nicely decorated.
One of my most memorable trips, and this experience truly stands out. I adore the hotel's design, seamlessly blending with the ancient temple surroundings. The room decorations are impeccable. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, and the bathroom and bathtub were spotlessly clean. I indulged in a bath bomb for a delightful experience. The highlight, however, was the breakfast, surpassing my expectations...
Amazing hotel! Rooms have ceiling fans, nice bathrooms and beautiful woodwork. I had a great nights sleep....probably the best of my 3 week trip to SE Asia. I would "ding" the hotel 1/2 star ONLY because the mattress was directly on the floor. Just too hard to get in and out of for me. That said, the hotel is amazing and the food was unbelievably good. We arrived late and the kitchen accommodated...
Super food, give us more energy to move on. Hotel was nice, was build from 500 years arch design. For me the room is too dark also all the feel in side the hotel including touching was hard ( I guess it is because all made from wooden ).
This boutique hotel is really really beautiful! The design/decoration is a mix of local northern art and modern architecture. With the changing of natural light and shadow during the day projecting to the building, making this place charming and romantic. The room is mostly made of wood and it is comfortable. The bath tub is a little too small. Would be great if snack is allowed in room. The breakfast...

The rooms were large, comfortable and had a nice balcony to sit out on. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
We loved our stay at Pak Ping Rim-Khong. The location is perfect to enjoy everything Chiang Saen has to offer. It’s close to the night market, some of the best restaurants and coffee shops around, and it’s right next to the river. The rooms are very nice and spacious with a great private bathroom. They lent us bicycles to bike to the surrounding towns for free and have bananas available 24/7 at the...
If you are visiting the Golden Triangle, on the way back we stayed the night before heading back to Chiang Rai. The hotel is new & modern, the rooms are big with a balcony over looking the river. Friendly staff
nothing but good things to note in my 2 night stay; new, clean rooms, king size bed, excellent quality appliances in the room, good breakfast, parking in front and in back ( 4 spaces in back); good english, approachable, friendly owner who lived in usa a number of years; good location (this is from a local) , walking to the main area of twon, the location is across the street from the Mekong river,...
Superb guest house Very comfortable bed Lovely room Great location We will be back in a flash
The best of service. I felt like staying in a home with the kindest of people. Also love the room, the lush garden, the free snack and beverage corner, and the fact that it's close to the river.

I didn’t get the chance to stay here but with its location and the pictures provide, I’d definitely book again when I’m able to go.
The view from the window of Laos is simply wow. Don't forget, you can watch for hours, in the evening the picture is no worse. There is a pier nearby, from which boats go along the Mekong, we sailed for half an hour to Laos, very funny. There are several restaurants nearby, inexpensive. Everything closes very early, we wanted to get a massage, but the salon was not open. Let's go to the city, everything...
Location is perfect. The view was beautiful. You can even see the Mekong River while laying in bed. Wats, Food stalls and restaurants are within walking distance. You’ll find a 7-Eleven just next to the hotel.
Best views in the area, no elevator.
The receptionist is very friendly, the accommodation is clean, sleep well.
Great room at a great price. I loved all the wood floors and furniture. Super-close to the Opium Museum.

Clean rooms, quiet, not crowded, inexpensive.
Clean room, affordable price, quiet, good
Used to come to sleep four years ago. Come this time, you still have to come here as before. Quiet and suitable for relaxation the owner is friendly
Clean accommodation, room facilities, beautifully decorated, the price is considered not expensive, only 450 per night, located in the community, but quiet. Nearby there is a restaurant for people who are lazy to go far. There is also a coin-operated washing machine available. Suitable for staying for several days Dogs that are raised are not fierce. I'm addicted to being playful even, just jumping...
