Staff team is amazing. Many activities in hotel. Room is clean and impressed with the eco friendly concept. Italian food here is great
Nothing around hotel within walking distance. You are here for the hotel and elephant camp. Spa service was lovely and the cooking class was better then expected. We spent two afternoons by the pool but there was no service so we had to go back and forth to the bar for food and drinks.
Awesome experience staying in the jungle bubble with elephants. Feeding and walking with the elephants and the Royal Enfield trip. Worth every dollar. I would also like to thank Tuk for here friendly, professional and welcoming personality.
Quite an experience to spend quality time with elephants in nature. Staff were impressive with their passion and service. Impressed with the chef with his activities and attention to detail. The room is just too old for the price paid. Excursions taken were very good indeed. With all inclusive package, there's only 1 restaurant to enjoy for the whole trip.
From start to finish, this place is a true gem. The staff go above and beyond to make sure everything is well taken care of. The Jungle Bubble experience is truly one of a kind and highly recommended. Regardless of what the one angry reviewer has said (who by the way hasn't actually visited the place but seems like a keyboard warrior), the elephants are very well taken care of and quite happy living...
-The trip was extraordinary. Before we arrive, staff contacted us to check the agenda and airport pick up, even when we suddenly need to change the plan, they react fast to meet our needs. -Jungle Bubble experience is unique and unforgettable. You are really staying in the forest with elephants, and the dinner on the balcony was special, too. -The activities with elephants were fun, most recommend...

Pros: Big grand hotel with pool right on the river facing Laos. Hotel located about 5 minutes south east outside of downtown Chiang Saen. Staff are well trained, charming and very mind service oriented. Rooms have bath tubs, large screen Samsung Smart TVs with Netflix and new powerful air conditioners. Rooms have air filters. Lobby has free on demand fresh coffee machines using real coffee beans. There...
Nice hotel well located in Chiang Saen city. Quiet, nice rooms and good amenities. Breakfast pretty good.
Great river views, clean & comfortable, good breakfast, friendly staff, nice pool, close to town & markets.
Located next to the Mekong River, and be sure to get a room facing the river, so you can watch sunrises, definitely the reason to choose this hotel. The hotel can need an update and the shower can use more pressure, but I had a pleasent stay. You can borrow bikes for free and ride the 10k to the Golden Triangle and Opium Museum or the 3k to Skywalk. They can help arrange transport from/to Chiang Rai...
Hotel was clean and in good repair. Breakfast was good with omlettes made to order. Great view across the Mae Khong river. Only lost a star because limited parking across a busy street.
🥳RECOMMENDED😎 We stayed one night here and it was a nice place. The room was on 3 rd flood and big, with large bathroom. Full of light and with view over the Mekong river so it was kind of quiet. However, at night you hear quiet a lot the sounds of the hotel lobby and the road on the other side of the building. I mean it’s not a five stars, so it’s ok 👍 There is a lift, you can store your bikes inside...

Unbeatable for the price (800 baht per night during end of COVID). Grand feeling from the old colonial / opium trading days. Highly recommended, feels much more expensive than the price. Great view over Burma and Laos and Mekong from the room
This is a very well run hotel. The staff are excellent. The restaurant is great. I love the elegance of the hotel. The rooms are dated but I like that, everything works, the rooms are spacious, and the beds are comfortable.
Quite good overall but the toilets were very dated (you can tell from the American Standard logo edition) and with a very high water line as well. Perhaps it was just an unrenovated room though. The bathroom was otherwise okay - just the toilet was annoying.
Teak wood ornate old hotel with large rooms and a king bed which apparently had its glory in the past. The restaurant has great terrace with river views.
30 year old classic hotel. One of the better ones available in the area. A bit dated but satisfactory for the price and location. Unfortunately the hazard air quality has affected the tourism.
A nice hotel closest to the Golden Triangle park. We had a room on the 4th floor with a great view to the Mekong. A bit dated but still nice and clean. The lobby area is nicely decorated with many sitting area. The hotel staffs are great and very helpful. The breakfast was average but sufficient.

foi tudo incrível! uma experiência de acampamento premium!! mas esteja ciente que o banho é externo e a noite faz friozinho! mas o aquecimento do quarto é rápido e potente! ahhh… e claro, os elefantes no café da manhã
Words cannot describe the amazing experience we had at Four Seasons Tented Camp. From the moment we arrived by boat, we were greeted by Macall and incredible team. With only 16 Tents at the resort, we were able to get to know each staff member personally and felt like an extended part of their family, even after only a 2 night stay. The food and beverage program was top notch, and extremely customizable...
Pricy-but well worth it. The staff are incredible and make sure you don’t have to even think of planning anything. You will be well taken care of. From the moment we were picked up in Chiang Mai, I knew we didn’t have to worry about a thing. Took a cool boat ride to see the Golden Triangle and arrive in a fun way. Nice to spend time with the elephants and see the local temples. I fell asleep during...
Not easy to find this place if you decide to be here by driving. It is about 1 hour from Chain Rai airport. Wonderful place to enjoy/relax in forest. River front tented camp and can see borders of Myanmar, Laos and Thailand which is called Golden Triangle. Most priceless experience is walking with elephants. You can enjoy talking to the guides in English and he explains history of the tour, gives you...
Please take time to read this review. I initially hesitated on sharing this terrible experience in public. However, I believe it is important to share so that people can form their own opinions. I recently found myself in a truly horrifying situation with my family. The hotel arranged a little elephant encounter excursion for us, and everything seemed to go smoothly. We all had a great time and a...

Very nice restaurant/breakfast area, rooms are a bit old but overall good! A bit noisy even at night.
Excellent location right on the Mekong river, very peaceful and has a beautiful view of the Mekong and Laos. It is probably the best value hotel in Chiangsean, although a bit dated. The room is still clean, and the AC is nice and cool. Everything else is a bit worn down, the towels, the sheets, TV is from Reagan/Gorbachev era, very old school tube style which has only 6 channels. I recommend you...

I love this place! Located at the River Mekong you have a wonderful view. The rooms are spacious and very clean, and I so much liked the balcony. Staff is fantastic, firendly and helpful. Chiang Saen is very quiet, so you will have a relaxing stay here.
Well located for local visite, big rooms with confortable vers, but lit clean enough in the bathroom. Wifi is also unstable and ont available in public areas (dining room)

Beautiful resort property to relax along the Mekong. Peaceful.. with lovely landscaping, a large pool, and on site restaurant. Clean, comfortable spacious rooms. Delicious, freshly prepared meals! Loved our stay!💕
We booked 3 rooms. The rooms with the river view is beautiful. The staff are very accommodating. The breakfast is eat you can but few choices. A good place to relax.
My family loved this place! The rooms and view were amazing. The service and everyone working there was great. When we arrived we were given a little lemonade and warmly greeted. The restaurant food was delicious and the women making the cocktails did an amazing job. I would come back here next time I visit!
I love the views here, it’s a unique spot overlooking the Mekong River with very good Thai food. Definitely worth staying at!
The facility and staff: 5 stars! For one breakfast, a staff made our teenage son a breakfast sandwich because it was close to closing time and he wasn't awake yet. The beds were soft but firm and the pillows not to high. Very comfortable! The food was average, not great but not bad either. Only two negatives: the shower and toilet door is glass and some parts of it is clear, so people can see in...

Good atmosphere, close to many attractions. especially the hall of opium But not suitable for the elderly because the way up to the room is quite high and a bit far for the elderly.
Wanted to give five stars but cut two due to two reasons 1) No wooden flooring 2) Bungalows are at higher levels. It is around 3 kms from Golden Triangle and in the middle of hills near opium Hall. It is value for money resort and staff is very Co-operative. Rooms are very spacious and well maintained.
Staff very helpful. We were given a tree top jungle hut. This was large, however it had a musky smell. Everything else appeared to be clean and well maintained. Breakfast was a good three stars. All fresh
If you like peace & quiet day or night choose Greater Mekong Lodge nestled amid a bamboo mountain forest! Dee Marg! Stay here will also earn you a discount at the nearby Hall of Opium museum.🌷🌷🌷

This resort is amazing, all rooms with AC, pool, gazebo, restaurant, sunflower field What more could you ask for 500bht for the smallest room They call a tuktuk for you if you want to go into the city And can sell some tours in the area as well
On the banks of the Mekong river. A bit difficult to find but rooms are clean, beds were comfortable and the staff was accommodating. Food in the restaurant was decent. Parking is a bit tight.

Didn't stay there but did enjoy their excellent restaurant. The best I've tried in Chiang Saen for authentic Northern and other Thai dishes. High quality ingredients and cooking. Nice ambience both indoors and outdoors. Nicely decorated.
One of my most memorable trips, and this experience truly stands out. I adore the hotel's design, seamlessly blending with the ancient temple surroundings. The room decorations are impeccable. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, and the bathroom and bathtub were spotlessly clean. I indulged in a bath bomb for a delightful experience. The highlight, however, was the breakfast, surpassing my expectations...
Amazing hotel! Rooms have ceiling fans, nice bathrooms and beautiful woodwork. I had a great nights sleep....probably the best of my 3 week trip to SE Asia. I would "ding" the hotel 1/2 star ONLY because the mattress was directly on the floor. Just too hard to get in and out of for me. That said, the hotel is amazing and the food was unbelievably good. We arrived late and the kitchen accommodated...
Super food, give us more energy to move on. Hotel was nice, was build from 500 years arch design. For me the room is too dark also all the feel in side the hotel including touching was hard ( I guess it is because all made from wooden ).
This boutique hotel is really really beautiful! The design/decoration is a mix of local northern art and modern architecture. With the changing of natural light and shadow during the day projecting to the building, making this place charming and romantic. The room is mostly made of wood and it is comfortable. The bath tub is a little too small. Would be great if snack is allowed in room. The breakfast...

12/13/21 very good hosts, they helped us with everything we needed and the rooms were very good. Perfect quality price.
Used bungalow. Aircon worked well. Bed comfortable. TV with satellite - found France 24 after long search. Shower had soap and shampoo dispenser. Good hot water. Ground level elevated deck with private table and chairs. Road uphill gives access to female statue that can not be observed from below. In room fridge and freezer. Secure ground level on terrace bicycle parking.
A no frills but comfortable chalet overlooking Golden Triangle Park. Other rooms across the road with limited view. Access is a approx 1km from main road with last part up steep poor condition road. Polite staff with limited English. Good place for an economical stay.

It’s close to the night market, some of the best restaurants and coffee shops around, and it’s right next to the river. The rooms are very nice and spacious with a great private bathroom. If you are visiting the Golden Triangle, on the way back we stayed the night before heading back to Chiang Rai. The hotel is new & modern, the rooms are big with a balcony over looking the river. Friendly staff
nothing but good things to note in my 2 night stay; new, clean rooms, king size bed, excellent quality appliances in the room, good breakfast, parking in front and in back ( 4 spaces in back); good english, approachable, friendly owner who lived in usa a number of years; good location (this is from a local) , walking to the main area of twon, the location is across the street from the Mekong river,...
The best of service. I felt like staying in a home with the kindest of people. Also love the room, the lush garden, the free snack and beverage corner, and the fact that it's close to the river.
A great little family run hotel with well appointed rooms and a very good breakfast. The rooms are quite large, clean and well maintained. Breakfast is served in a garden setting (weather permitting) and is a very generous breakfast - choice of eggs and meats of rice porridge with freshly squeezed juice and fresh fruit.
