City Beach Resort

Good location. Staff is friendly. Rooms are older but well maintained. Some rooms have better views. When we were there the hotel was almost empty and I can't understand why they would not give us a room with a better view since price is the same.
Small.details like that should not be overlooked and we booked for the remaining days else where.

The showers are a bit low but pressure is ok. The rooms are clean and the bed is comfortable.

Excellent location in the city centre. Short walk to the beach. Two 7-Elevens down in the street for snack.

I’ve seen other reviews that say it’s outdated but I find it very homely and traditional. I do agree some things could do with a lick of paint or swapped out.

Firm but comfortable bed. Slept very well and didn’t notice much noise from outside or other guests.

Air-con works well. Good pressure and heat from the shower.

Fridge works fine. TV has broadcast channels and runs Android TV so you get online services like Netflix, Prime Video, IPTV.

There are two pools but I haven’t used them yet.

On site parking and drop off is available.

The only thing I didn’t like was the lack of a safe and there are very few power sockets. The ones I did use seemed to draw little power and took a while to charge anything.

Despite the lack of a safe I feel the room is very safe as it’s a solid door and you have to use a physical key rather than a keycard for entry.

Would definitely stay again.

Really enjoyed our stay here the location was great. Staff very friendly and pool fantastic. Just a short walk to the night market, Beach and nightlife.

While this hotel is a bit old, it is well maintained. And the location is the best selling point! It is within walking distance from the beach, the pubs and restaurants. It also has it's own car park, so if you are driving there, there is no problems
