Royal Pavilion Hua Hin

I never leave bad reviews but this was the WORST hotel experience I have ever had in my life for the price, and I mean it. For this price in Hua Hin there are a million better options - don’t choose this one. They either gave me the worst room in the hotel or all of the rooms are this bad. It was really old and dirty. The floors were sticky and smelly in the bathroom and shower which is absolutely disgusting and the toilet was horrible to use. I had to buy my own cleaning products to properly clean it. The toilet is on an incline so you feel like you’re falling off it and the bidet sprayer is old and smelled horrible and had not been cleaned which is absolutely disgusting. Also the rooms connect together with a door that I had to shove a towel under because there is a gap and you can hear everything and see everything inside of the other room if you’re on the floor! Also the staff was screaming nonstop and on their radios in the hallway all day long. You cannot sleep past 8 am in this hotel because they are screaming outside your door all day long. People want to sleep and relax in hotels not be stressed out so this was Ridiculous. I think they also put me next to a room where they are doing renovations or something because staff were always around my room on their radios which was very weird, annoying, and disrespectful. I felt like I was being monitored and mocked. However, Most of the staff were actually nice to me, which I appreciated, but a couple of the young girls laughed at me which was very rude and it was just all around a terrible experience. Absolutely not worth the money. I stayed at accommodation for half this price in Hua Hin that had far better quality and respect. I understand that many tourists are disrespectful and rude but I am not one of them. I always make sure to treat others kindly and I’m respectful of other people’s cultures so I expect to be respected in return. This hotel should either lower their prices or greatly improve their services and amenities. This is not how you treat guests or run an international hotel.

Not impressed. Stayed here 2 nights. Suddeny the hotel simply cut internet access to all guests without notice. Pool was also closed (a notice was slapped on the elevator door for that). Had I known beforehand, I wouldn't have booked the room. When enquiring about it from staff apologies were very forthcoming, yet no talk of being compensated. Deliberately withholding this information upon check-in and taking payment with a smile, knowing full well you are not going to offer the full amenities you advertise, is fraudulent behaviour.
