Wora Bura Hua Hin Resort & Spa - SHA Extra Plus

Pros: Friendly staff, delicious breakfast and beach restaurant, private beach, cute pool, convenient free shuttle bus, beautiful traditional Thai style rooms, reasonable price. Cons: Old, not too bothersome but occasionally you can hear the sound of condo construction on the next site.

Absolutely stunning hotel resort with exemplar staff and service. A traditional Thai hotel with teak floors, mature gardens and stunning pool - and beachside too! Heaven 😎

The hotel is currently undergoing refurbishment so SOME parts are a little tired (Covid devastated the tourist industry) but don’t let this put you off.

It’s a truly wonderful hotel and well worth a visit.

I have impressed this resort , be it service , room , swimming pool or location that enclose the beach.

The resort upgrade room type for us, it's surprising and be a good deal.

Customer service were kind and good service mind. And they wear traditional Thai suit.

For breakfast, I like a seasonal fruit, mangosteen and traditional Thai desert.

Very nice hotel. Friendly and service minded staff. Good food at the restaurants. Well kept gardens.

Every room is named after a Thai province or town, and has artwork from that province. The atmosphere here is much nicer than more modern hotels.

Background: I travelled here by car with my wife and infant, and my parents. We got 2 rooms.

Rooms: Both rooms were clean, big and nicely designed. The thai touches were very interesting. The AC was a bit unpredictable, at times very warm and at times very cold, irrespective of the chosen temperature.

Service: All the staff were very friendly and overall service was good. There were times where it was difficult to find staff to order food/drinks by the pool or to get towels.

Ambiance: The resort is nicely located with direct beach views and access. It is quieter and simpler that some other high end hotels in Hua Hin but is priced similarly.

Location: Located right on the beach and walking distance to Cicada Market. The hotel offers a free shuttle as well, which is a nice touch.

Conclusion: If you are looking for a quieter and simpler getaway with a more Thai cultural feel, then this hotel is for you. If you prefer a more modern hotel with lots of activities, music and things to do, then there are better options nearby at similar prices.

Myth : “This hotel has no beach”.

Fact : It has one of the largest beach I’ve ever seen in Huahin but it comes at certain times of the day and month.

When the tide is high, there’s no beach at all. But when the tide is low, there’s a large beach in front of the hotel.

Service is impeccable. Breakfast has so many options. Only downside is the number of sun beds that is not enough. To make the matter worse, some of the guests reserve those beds early in the morning, leave their towels there and go somewhere else for a couple hours.

Some advice, if you want to stay in a modern hotel, this hotel is not your choice. The hotel has its own”throwback” vibe with colonial style building and decoration.

This hotel should be good for group with family, elder members or foreigners for many reasons:
First, the room is spacious with shower area and room facilities/technologies are not complicated.
Second, the size of hotel is quite ok for walking around, going to restaurant or reaching to swimming pool and beach.
Third, this hotel is connected direct to the beach and the decorations is unique with colonial Thai style.
However, overall food is standard as well as the ambience of main dining room or beach front restaurant.

It’s a beautiful hotel, so full of character - and the staff too. We’d wholeheartedly recommend this hotel for its tranquil feel and friendly vibe. Thanks to Milk for his wide-smiled and professional welcome. The breakfast was varied and plentiful. Only one negative point: there weren’t many shaded sun beds, but otherwise a truly lovely place.
