Wora Bura Hua Hin Resort & Spa - SHA Extra Plus

Background: I travelled here by car with my wife and infant, and my parents. We got 2 rooms.

Rooms: Both rooms were clean, big and nicely designed. The thai touches were very interesting. The AC was a bit unpredictable, at times very warm and at times very cold, irrespective of the chosen temperature.

Service: All the staff were very friendly and overall service was good. There were times where it was difficult to find staff to order food/drinks by the pool or to get towels.

Ambiance: The resort is nicely located with direct beach views and access. It is quieter and simpler that some other high end hotels in Hua Hin but is priced similarly.

Location: Located right on the beach and walking distance to Cicada Market. The hotel offers a free shuttle as well, which is a nice touch.

Conclusion: If you are looking for a quieter and simpler getaway with a more Thai cultural feel, then this hotel is for you. If you prefer a more modern hotel with lots of activities, music and things to do, then there are better options nearby at similar prices.

Myth : “This hotel has no beach”.

Fact : It has one of the largest beach I’ve ever seen in Huahin but it comes at certain times of the day and month.

When the tide is high, there’s no beach at all. But when the tide is low, there’s a large beach in front of the hotel.

Service is impeccable. Breakfast has so many options. Only downside is the number of sun beds that is not enough. To make the matter worse, some of the guests reserve those beds early in the morning, leave their towels there and go somewhere else for a couple hours.

Some advice, if you want to stay in a modern hotel, this hotel is not your choice. The hotel has its own”throwback” vibe with colonial style building and decoration.

This hotel should be good for group with family, elder members or foreigners for many reasons:
First, the room is spacious with shower area and room facilities/technologies are not complicated.
Second, the size of hotel is quite ok for walking around, going to restaurant or reaching to swimming pool and beach.
Third, this hotel is connected direct to the beach and the decorations is unique with colonial Thai style.
However, overall food is standard as well as the ambience of main dining room or beach front restaurant.

It’s a beautiful hotel, so full of character - and the staff too. We’d wholeheartedly recommend this hotel for its tranquil feel and friendly vibe. Thanks to Milk for his wide-smiled and professional welcome. The breakfast was varied and plentiful. Only one negative point: there weren’t many shaded sun beds, but otherwise a truly lovely place.

Very friendly hotel, especially the staff. Lovely pool with gorgeous warm water. The beach is disappointing as there isn't any sand to sit on by the hotel as the tide comes right up to the wall and it can be quite rough with big waves.
Handy for the Tamarind mkt and other restaurants, massages etc.
Hotel swim up bar never been used since I've been here (3 weeks), not many sun beds/umbrellas. No towels can be left on beds in the morning unless back within 30 mins, if no return towels etc will be removed.
Drinks are hotel prices, food on the costly side but supposed to be good.
Breakfasts good/plentiful. Rooms r a tidy size with a tiny fridge which is stocked with chargeable items. Peaceful grounds. No Smoking throughout which is a bonus. Hotel has a free shuttle minibus.
Would visit again if it wasn't for the 3 hr transfer from airport.

Booked the hotel for family vacation on 13-14 January 2024. The staffs were very welcoming and attentive. The room was spacious and clean. Even though it was a bit older hotel than others in the same area but the peacefulness and hotel’s relaxing atmosphere were making up for it. Unfortunately we were visiting during the high tide so we were unable to walk along the beach. All in all, we loved our stay there and we’ll come back again! Thank you Wora Bura team, it was an amazing experience for us.

Hidden gem walking distance to Cicada night market and by a quiet beach. Love the traditional Thai architecture and befall landscaped garden and pool close to the beach.
