Only thing to be aware is that there no other restaurant in immediate proximity but the food at the hotel is pretty good.

My family had the most wonderful stay at Renaissance Pattaya Resort & Spa. We were there from 22–26 October, so I kind of expected a crowd since it was during the holiday period. From the moment we stepped into the hotel lobby, it was quite busy as many guests had arrived around the same time. However, we received a warm and pleasant welcome during check-in, thanks to K. Hack, who was very attentive and friendly.
Our rooms were spacious and spotless. I’d recommend booking a sea-view room, as the view from our 6th-floor rooms was absolutely breathtaking.
Breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of delicious food options. Although there was quite a crowd between 8:30–9:30 and we had to wait a bit for a table, the staff handled everything efficiently and made sure everyone received great service.
In terms of location, the hotel is about a 20–30 minute drive from Pattaya city, but that wasn’t an issue for us. In fact, we appreciated being away from the traffic and crowds, and the motorway made the trip convenient. The area also has plenty of great seafood restaurants and cafés nearby.
Overall, it was the perfect recharging escape from Bangkok, and we’ll definitely come back again!
The sea view room in the hotel is very good, the breakfast is also very delicious, and the private beach is a very pleasant place. Although there were some minor incidents during the check-in, they were all resolved perfectly. If you come to Pattaya for a vacation, Renaissance is the best choice
