Bright and cozy hotel with its own sandy beach. Simple comfortable rooms, helpful staff and pleasant stay.

Located on the island of LAN/Koh Larn, on the beach, Same/Samae, 30-50 min drive from the pier Pattaya Balihai /Bali Hai (25-45 minutes by boat or boat+ 5 min on the island), in 137 km from Bangkok airport.
Consists of several 2-storey buildings.
Only 69 rooms.
Beach: own sandy beach in 50 m from the hotel (1 coastline). Umbrellas, sun beds: free of charge.

We recently had 2 rooms in buildings A. The rooms are clean and reasonably well maintained.
Check in for us was slow, and I guess that was because a company trip was checking in at the same time. It seemed like they were getting priority.
That also worried me as they were seeing up a disco in the restaurant which is very close to the rooms we were in. We were told it would be finished by 10:30 pm which it was, and it was never that loud.
One problem everyone in my group mentioned was the water in the bathroom which leaves you feeling slightly sticky after showering.
Overall, a nice place to stay

I have been here 7 times this year and will be back 3 more times in November. This is my easy get away from the Pattaya area where I live.
The location is great, right on the beach. My first visit here I never left the property for 1 week because in addition to Xanadu restaurants, there are other places to eat next door.
What makes this special to me is the staff. From reception, to housekeeping and restaurant staff, they have always given us great service.
I would personally like to thank all the staff for their hard work and great customer service.
I would like to recogonize the following people for going above and beyond to make our stay wonderful.

The location is perfect, private beach, clean water. Buffet breakfast was good with a lot to choose from. Restaurant food was good and prices very reasonable, friendly staff.
Room was a different story. Not cleaned at all before we moved in, and after complains 2 cleaners came and just swept the floor and the one tried to wipe the filth from the shower doors without any detergent. Everything was filthy. Fridge door couldn’t close properly because of ice. Front door obviously hasn’t been cleaned for years. Windows dirty, door frames filthy, previous guest’s toothpaste splatter on the tiles and mirror in the bathroom, also empty meds packaging and unused condoms in the cupboard. Floor was sticky and full of hair and sand. The room wasn’t cleaned daily, only new towels and water left on the table outside the door.
We even called the manager to come and have a look at the bathroom. He refused and just stood at the front door, uninterested. Al he did was to send a cleaner to defrost the fridge. That took a whole day, with a bath towel in the fridge to catch up the water!

Overall 4/5. The beach is like private beach. Can walk around near resort. Clean rooms and comfort beds. The come and pick up at pier. I could meditate and grounded in the garden with little artificial waterfall.

Nice beach resort on Samae beach. Great location and it's not as busy as the other beaches around the island.
The food in the hotel restaurant was really delicious and reasonably priced.
The staff were great and helpful. I fell.sick during my trip. The hotel staff sent me to the hospital and picked me up personally after treatment for free. I really appreciate that.

Nice simple hotel located right on the beach.
Rooms were large and had a fan over main area. Aircon is dated and a bit loud at times bed was comfortable.
Bathroom again dated but serviceable hot water took time but at least have it.
Overall just a nice simple island accommodation.

Basic but clean rooms here with nice beds. The best thing about this place is its location, the service from the extremely friendly staff and the dogs! There are so many cute adults and puppies cruising around and they get treated very well by the locals. They don’t throw sticks at them etc to get them away from the hotel. If you don’t like dogs go somewhere else but if you are a dog lover then this place is awesome.

Outside is pretty run down but it’s a resort on a beach so the location is the hood part. Beds are cozy. Food is decent

Situated at the end of the beach, this resort is one of the most quiet resorts on the island. The room is ok. The beach is nice as well. You cannot see the beach from the rooms, however.

We had a great time here! Everyone was very accommodating and friendly, the food was pretty good! And I like that it has its own beach and isn't too far from the rooms. The rooms were clean and we really aren't a picky bunch so we were pretty comfortable. I would highly recommend this to people who aren't into the party scene. Transpo is pretty easy on the island in general so it's not a problem getting around. Thank you Xanadu!
