Khanom Hill Resort

This hotel is exceptional and was the nicest hotel we stayed in during our recent 3 month tour of Thailand. The bungalow was lovely, super comfortable bed with nice linens and a spacious, well equipped bathroom. We were right by the pool, which was super clean and lovely to cool down in if you didn't want to go down to the beach. Our bungalow was the other side of the road to the restaurant and beach, that was no issue for us and we used both every day. What really sets this hotel and the restaurant apart is the little things, small touches like servicing the room unobtrusively whilst we were at breakfast each morning, offering to adjust the menu for us as vegetarians and helping us with a car problem, sweeping the beach etc. The staff would just be there when you needed them without you even asking or realising... 5 star service. We loved the location, the restaurant overlooking the beach, the breakfasts are phenomenal 👌, pancakes to die for. Just great 👏👏🙏

Resort located in a quiet and beautiful area offered a great, very needed relax for us. I do have to mention the friendliness and hospitality of the staff. Rooms always clean, food great and service fast. Did not use massage or bike rental. But enjoyed beach and also a pool (warm and clean water). Bed was a little shaky and AC a little loud but it did not bother us and we slept well. It is in the nature, there are mosquitoes and ants but you kind of count with it.
Would come back if I could.

If you are looking for a beautiful mid sized resort, with traditional Thai comfortable bungalows, super friendly staff, great breakfast and extremely good food, than this is the place to go.

The beach offers shade through very tall trees and they have a small pool.

The bungalows are embedded in a large garden with many trees that offers shadow everywhere.

The beach and the sea is fabulous. They have enough sun chairs.

You might want to hire a scooter to explore the area with its (night) market.

Very good value for money.

We stayed in a pool villa, which was incredibly spacious and perfect for the rainy days when outdoor activities weren’t an option. The villa was clean and regularly serviced, and we enjoyed spending time both indoors and on the covered balcony. However, sitting on the balcony could be challenging due to the presence of A LOT of mosquitoes, but that’s understandable.

One downside was the condition of the beach. While the main hotel beach was sometimes clean, it often had noticeable amounts of trash washed ashore, and the nearby areas were unfortunately much worse, with large amounts of debris. The second private beach mentioned on the website was unused, with a dilapidated pier and heavy litter.

Additionally, the surrounding area didn’t offer much to explore. There are a few neighboring hotels, but many seemed empty, and the beach itself lacked atmosphere. There weren’t any inviting restaurants or bars along the shore (which, as mentioned before, is heavily littered) to enjoy during an evening walk. Without some form of transportation, it’s challenging to get around.

Overall, the hotel and its accommodations were excellent, but better upkeep of the beach and more vibrant surroundings would greatly enhance the experience.

We had the appartement at the garden. Felt at home here, so stayed extra nights. Sad to leave. Perfect food, perfect hosts. At the beach. Great breakfast. Not much happening around here, but that also made it feel relaxed (without feeling at the end of the world).

Super. Perfect location in a quiet area. Very friendly and helpfull staf. It has it all. No fancy/modern style but natural environment. We loved it.

The food is excellent. Great taste. Great value for money and beautiful scenery. Great staf. So clean. Xx best meal i have had in Thailand
