Definitely worth the price paid. I got the room cheaper than the OTA's Agoda/Booking.

Vintage Chinese style hotel in Khonkaen,inside the city, I used to stay here about 40 years ago,still the room are clean the price is reasonable 500 baht/night. I like to have breakfast outside hotel ,it is Vietnamese frie egg in pan with French toast .

My experience here was ruined when my earphones went missing from my room, possibly taken by the staff. Be careful not to leave your valuables in plain sight.

This hotel has been there for like 30 years but it has kept its condition well, not too old and still looks quite nice for a hotel this age which was a surprise for me. The room was very clean, with couches and tables. The bed was ok. A/c worked well without adjusting the temp and could be too cool if you tamper with it. Warm shower and tap water is nice for cool winter. There was just one power outlet for charger and nowhere else which was the only problem for me. Overall, it's perfect esp for less than 400 baht per night. Definitely will come again.

Building is just getting very tired. Could do with a serious overhaul. Much better hotels can be found for the same price.

If you're heading to the Mindfulness Project this place is pretty ideal as it's a five minute walk to the old bus station. However the hotel has seen better days. The wifi is practically nonexistent, I asked to move rooms/floors twice and then gave up. Some of the rooms are tired looking and need renovating. But clean and comfortable enough so worth the money.
