The Beach Natural Resort Koh

Location is superb: one of the best beach in the island. Our room (great for a couple) was comfortable for couple with young child. Breakfast good, and in few days with a variety of dishes. Dining was good too, fair price. Staff very friendly and ready to support you anytime.

This place is amazing. The food, the location, and the service are all top-notch. Rin makes amazing cocktails while Nom, Khoa, and Sea are fun to chat with and there when you need them, silent when you don’t. The staff make this amazing part of the world even more worth traveling to. Their supervisor Tha, clearly knows what they’re doing. Even the manager Lisa was on site, making sure everyone was comforted and happy. The only negative is I may have gained 10 kilos whilst here due to how fat and happy I found myself, every night Hard to believe this is only 3-star.

Good hotel. Keep in mind you will find bugs or Gecko in your hotel. Not frequent, I found one geko and one bug in my 5 day stay. I don't blame them because it is due to the location, all the resorts will have this problem. Book this place because it gives you direct access to the beach and unlike Siam Beach, this place is an actual hotel with amenities and service. No brainer.

Motor scooter is for rent for 300 Baht.

We have stayed in many places in Thailand and this was definitely one of the nicest. The rooms were spacious and clean and the grounds well kept. The water was crystal clear and great for snorkelling. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. Breakfasts were amazing. We would definitely come again. Another bonus was the lack of constant music.

Hotel (Very Good!)
Can be confusing to book a room here because they have many different room types of various ages and standards, from the most basic rustic fan rooms with no screens, to brand spanking new beach front villas with small private pools. We had the latter for an exceptionally low price, and we loved our stay here.

Pros of the hotel and our room: directly on a quiet beach, with easy access to the main road, comfortable bed, clean bathroom, great cocktail bar (run by an outside party), friendly helpful staff, and they accept credit cards for all charges on the resort (including the restaurant, but excluding the cocktail bar) with a 3% surcharge.

Points needing improvement: communication from the hotel was not as proactive as our previous hotel (we received no details in advance regarding transfer, etc), the new room we stayed in, while nicely designed, is missing some essential features such as toilet paper holder, towel bars, clothes hooks, etc. You can only lock them from the back, but it's too dark to walk the back way at night. Some final tweaks and improvements are definitely needed.

Restaurant (Poor)
The restaurant is also not well run. They should find an outside party to take over the restaurant like they have done with the cocktail bar. The floor and seating are in bad shape. Old furniture not well maintained. The staff do not help to seat larger groups together, etc. No cushions for the seats. Half the seats were left wet after a rain. They are missing some basic food items like broccoli, and they serve the worst ketchup in Thailand - Roza. Beers are badly overpriced (90 for a small bottle, compared to 100 for big bottles in other restaurants and resorts).

On the beautiful Island of Koh Kood (Koh Kut), in the most beautiful bay with stunning sunsets, this resort is a gem! My husband & I stayed there for 7 wonderful days in one of the beach villas. (These villas are incredably expensive, given the fact that they don’t have a private pool - and there is no communal pool either) - but the setting of the villas right on the beach with fantastic sunsets was worth it to us this time. The villa was small, but exquisit with a separate toilet and shower room + a bathtub in the room. You could lay in bed and watch the colorful sunsets - but We would of course enjoy them from the pier instead. The villas have big terracces with both sun loungers & a sitting group; We super enjoyed sitting there in the mornings & evenings! The resort is rather small and very, very beautiful, with thatched roof cottages and very well kept. Ambience is tranquil and very pleasant. Breakfast good with an egg station & varied Asian & Western dishes. (Could be better though, if tea & coffe was served at the table.) The restaurant was good and has a pretty setting at the beach. Most nights they had a barbecue with fresh seafood & meats. We also walked to a nearby beach restaurant (Siam Beach, past the nearest resort to the left), where we had really tasty good meals several times, at a much cheaper cost. The resort’s beach is small, but very clean - and there was never a problem to find sunbeds. The bay has beautiful clean water and wonderful sand bottom. You can borrow kayaks for free, which is a very pleasant thing to do in this tranquil bay. The staff is very nice, even though maybe not top notch in all cases (but we are very spoidefiled and have Nothing to complain about)! We loved every minute of our one-week stay at The Beach Natural Resort and some day we’d like to come back!

We had a fantastic stay here. The resort is beautiful and very private. The gardens and accommodation are very well maintained. A good mix of ages and nationalities among the guests. We hired a scooter for 3 days and explored the very beautiful Koh Kood. I must mention the very helpful young man on reception. He was always smiling and couldn’t do enough to help the guests. All the staff were lovely actually. Breakfast was good, though we didn’t eat in the restaurant in the evening as there are just so many tasty places to explore. I would love to stay here again on my next visit to Koh Kood.
