The Beach Natural Resort Koh Kood

Hotel (Very Good!)
Can be confusing to book a room here because they have many different room types of various ages and standards, from the most basic rustic fan rooms with no screens, to brand spanking new beach front villas with small private pools. We had the latter for an exceptionally low price, and we loved our stay here.

Pros of the hotel and our room: directly on a quiet beach, with easy access to the main road, comfortable bed, clean bathroom, great cocktail bar (run by an outside party), friendly helpful staff, and they accept credit cards for all charges on the resort (including the restaurant, but excluding the cocktail bar) with a 3% surcharge.

Points needing improvement: communication from the hotel was not as proactive as our previous hotel (we received no details in advance regarding transfer, etc), the new room we stayed in, while nicely designed, is missing some essential features such as toilet paper holder, towel bars, clothes hooks, etc. You can only lock them from the back, but it's too dark to walk the back way at night. Some final tweaks and improvements are definitely needed.

Restaurant (Poor)
The restaurant is also not well run. They should find an outside party to take over the restaurant like they have done with the cocktail bar. The floor and seating are in bad shape. Old furniture not well maintained. The staff do not help to seat larger groups together, etc. No cushions for the seats. Half the seats were left wet after a rain. They are missing some basic food items like broccoli, and they serve the worst ketchup in Thailand - Roza. Beers are badly overpriced (90 for a small bottle, compared to 100 for big bottles in other restaurants and resorts).

For this price, it is a very nice hotel. The beach is amazing. When you wake up you see the ocean and the beach. The food is also good. I can recommend this hotel of one week.

We got a seafront bungalow on what is definitely the nicest beach on the island. Stunning views all around and crystal clear water. First class room kept well and clean throughout our stay. Good food at the beach side restaurant and a chill out bar too. Will definitely go back. Very friendly and helpful staff

This is a so-called paradise on earth place. The resort is located on Bang Bao beach which has crytal-clear water and white sand. The resort is on small hill next to the beach. This resort targets mainly European tourists. I did not see any other Asian tourists though there're few Thai guests. Most are families and couples. They did not make loud noise so you can expect a perfect getaway. Food is delicious while all staffs are friendly with good service mind. I will recommend this place to friends and will definitely come back.

I really enjoyed our stay here. The staff is very friendly and pretty fluent in English. They bring your luggage to the rooms, you have beach towels and a little bag to go to the beach. Rooms are clean and cosy. The restaurant serves good meals and the beach is just awesome. They helped us out with our boat booking :-) cant thank them enough

For $166.00 AUD this was excellent. We had a beachfront room with beautiful views of the bay. The food was excellent and room service didn’t cost any extra, just the same reasonable prices of the resort. It’s low season so there was a rainy day, but otherwise really loved this place. Thank you for a great stay.

Wonderful place and so Nice service🥰. I wish I could stay longer. Super nice beach and great food and drinks too. A perfect place for relaxing and enjoying being present.

It's in our opinion the most beautiful beach on the island. The staff was also really kind and helpful. The breakfast was good. Regarding the room, the bed was really cozy and also a highlight. However, we can only give 4 stars for the room as the refrigerator was a bit smelly and the water pressure was really low. Overall, it was a great experience though. If we come back to Koh Kood, we would definitely stay here again!

Located at Bang Bao Bay, just a few steps from the turquoise shallow waters and fine white sand.

The hotel is nice, enjoyable, with a beautiful beach and a very relaxing atmosphere. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

The boat ride from Laem Sok Pier to Koh Kood takes approximately 60 minutes.

I like the service, the food is delicious, the sea is beautiful, the only disadvantage is that the bathroom at the restaurant is very dirty, when the toilet can't be flushed down and the water smells, it doesn't fix it, the breakfast has very little food and some like I think it doesn't fit at all I stayed there for 6 days I don't feel okay with the food but I'm impressed with the staff good service🥰🥰
