Probably the best hotel we have ever stayed in. The service was phenomenal from the start (receiving the floral necklaces) to the end (staying in air-conditioned room, till it was time for our boat departure). This is a so-called paradise on earth place. The resort is located on Bang Bao beach which has crytal-clear water and white sand. The resort is on small hill next to the beach. The breakfast is o.k. but they have very bad coffee - so we didn't have breakfast in the hotel. the drinks menu shows many varieties of red wine - but the hotel doesn't have a single bottle. Koh Kood is a little more expensive in general. So maybe i had the wrong expectations. The resort is a three star location. Some bungalows are a run down. Inside it was clean, outside less than i expected. There is a nice beach but no beach chairs, no food service. My memories are mixed.

Very large resort ( we recommend the bungalow by the beach of Had Sai Deng or the bungalow by the sea along the wood paths- Bangalows at the back are a bit too shady with more mosquitoes at night) - breakfast is a bit basic ( but reasonable varieties) while the restaurant has all the Thai favorites ( but still pricey comparing to Thai food in other restaurants but part of a resort)

The owner is very kind and works very much to ensure you have the very best stay. It is located by the river that flows into the ocean. They have kayaks you can borrow to go out into the ocean. The water is very clear and there are many fish. Its very relaxing and only a 20 minute provided drive from the boat dock. I highly recommend this stay. I will be coming back 100%.

I've come here for the third time in 10 years and still love this lovely homestay so much. Clean room, nice staff and location by Klong Jao canal and free kayaking which takes 5 minutes to Klong Jao beach and 20 minutes to Klong jao waterfall alongside with very green mangrove. Lastly, the food here is too good so you don't need to go anywhere else.

Stayed here for the second time in 2 months. First time was back in July 2024 and now again in October. This is a beautiful property with gorgeous views and neatly done up very clean rooms. The restaurant serves amazing food and they have a wide variety of cuisines to choose from. A special mention goes to the amazing and warm hospitable staff. Great service throughout.

We stayed there for two nights, but when we were about to leave, they checked the room and said that there was a laundry bag missing, and they wanted to charge us 200 baht for it, but we never saw the bag from the time we entered the room, so we advise you to take photos and videos when you enter the room. We were in a hurry and had to pay. I don't know what went wrong, but it was a bad feeling.

Clean, well-appointed huts with genuinely friendly and kind staff on a quiet and lovely beach. Food prices are reasonable for a "resort", and I found my problems tackled one way or another quite nicely and in a timely manner. It's a great choice if all you want is to hang out on the beach without the bells and whistles.

I visited the beach and the bar only. The access road is a bit rugged, but it is worth the trip in if your motorcycle handling skills are up to the challenge. Very serene location, friendly staff, and the drinks are reasonably priced.

We just now had a great week at Tolani. It is a beautiful place on one of the last original islands in Thailand and we think the best value for money over here. Centrally located but still secluded as you want it to be on the bay. The team and all the personal are really sweet and helpfull. Thank you Amp and Kaow! We will be back.
