Koh Kood Beach Resort

We spent three nights at the Koh kood beach resort and it was a beautiful experience. The island was absolutely incredible, and the resort was beautiful, with amazing welcoming and helpful staff. The resort is small and intimate despite the large grounds, and a big more rustic feeling than the large impersonal feeling of the resort (although it was also nice, just different vibe) we had just spent time at on Koh Chang. The grounds were stunning and exceptionally well maintained, and the bungalows were cozy and clean. The outdoor bathrooms were a very nice touch. The fact that they didn’t pack as many bungalows as they could onto the property really added to the experience. The food at the restaurant was very good, although at typical higher resort prices (everything is a bit more expensive on Koh kood due to its remote location), and the free breakfast was good as far as included breakfasts go, and featured omelets and scrambled eggs with toppings made to order. I think they may also have offered this for some drinks. The small but beautiful beach features some coral reef with lots of beautiful fish literally a few meters from shore and was great for snorkeling. They also have kayaks which I wish I’d taken advantage of to explore the little cove with shops and guesthouses on an elevated network of boardwalks just on the other side of the resort property. The whole island experience was one of the best I’ve had, and the welcoming staff and relaxing atmosphere of the resort just made it that much better. A well maintained motorbike rented at the resort was the perfect way to explore the beautiful waterfalls and beaches on the island. I highly recommend Koh Kood beach resort and hope to return someday!

Visited this hotel in June, low season.
The staff at reception were very good, friendly, speaking English well.
They helped us carry big luggage inside the room.
Had motorbike for rent, old, not powerful, but ok.
Ok breakfast.
The room is fine, very good bed, shower has mildly warm water, have all the necessities.
Before checking out our room had an electrical problem so we could not prepare well.
We had to wait for another hotel to pick us up, and during this time staff were very kind to us, allowing to use motorbike and serving us some free drinks

Wow had such a good stay. The grounds are beautiful, food was excellent and clean. The pool was large and great sunset view. The beach was private and stunningly beautiful. I would go back and I 100% reccomend this hotel. My only complaint would be for a better mattress, however I have a bad back and still found the bed to be very comfortable. But if the owner wants to take this place to A+++ ratings a more plush matress would be great. Prices I think are very reasonable for food and drinks. Book it you wont be disappointed.

Good location, beautiful view, beautiful and wide swimming pool, private beach but most of the beach is rocky, not many places to swim, the accommodation is very natural. During this time, there are sounds of toads lulling you to sleep every night, there are sounds of crows waking you up every morning, there are many coconut trees and almost collapsed because coconuts fell on your head. I recommend being careful of coconuts falling on your head. I recommend trying to avoid staying under coconut trees that have dry fruits ready to fall at any time. As for breakfast, it is delicious, there are many to choose from, the service of the staff is also good, the resort has motorcycles for rent to explore the island, it is convenient, the price is not expensive, I like it, I recommend it.

There is a private beach but you have to walk down the hill because the resort is located on a cliff

Great location , very nice view from the room and crystal clear water . Only downside is hotel breakfast is very boring and everyday same menu. They should improve breakfast menu.

Great hotel, good location next to the pier. There is a beach with sand and stones. You can see fish. Excellent restaurant and beautiful villas with a view of the sea and palm trees. You can have a good rest. BUT, this hotel is loved by families with infants. You will have breakfast, sunbathe and enjoy the sunset at dinner under the crying and screaming of children

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The bungalows are clean, spacious, and offer a stunning view of the palm trees and the sea.

The restaurant was excellent as well – delicious food at fair prices. The entire property is very well-maintained and creates a relaxing atmosphere. Every evening, you can enjoy the breathtaking sunset while dining at the restaurant or relaxing on your private terrace.

We enjoyed every day and felt completely at ease.

Overall: A fantastic place for anyone seeking peace, comfort, and beautiful surroundings – highly recommended!
