Checked into the hotel which was quick and got assigned a room. Went up to my room and it looked clean. The bathroom needs to be updated (painted and retiled). Pillows we're stained yellow, had a few ants near the end of the stay. Would stay again though for the price.

Reading the reviews i was a little hesitant about this hotel. When we arrived the staff was extremely friendly, and check in was fairly prompt. Convenient location for motorcyclists. Bathroom is a bit small. Try to stay lower floor since lift is not available. Your room may be across the road. No breakfast but free flow of coffee or tea are provided at the lobby.

Stayed here for a night at a steal of 800 baht with breakfast included. Place is old but big parking space, and convenient to go everywhere. It’s just in front of the night market along the riverside. Staffs are very helpful as hot water shower need some time to get heated. Room is clean with the basic necessities. Had simple American breakfast and fried rice before we left.

Our room was clean and came with coffee and tea which was nice. The rooms were a bit away from the road so were quiet. My only complaints are regarding the room type and the breakfast. We had reserved one of the bungalows, but when we arrived one of the maids advised us not to stay there because there was a smell in the room. I couldn't tell but my husband noticed it. Nice modern room. Out of town so you need transportation. We pre paid for breakfast but no one seemed to have known that and no food was available. Luckily, they have coffee in the room so it was okay until we got somewhere else.

I stayed in late September, low season so the restaurant wasn't operating except for breakfast. Mae Hong son doesn't have many taxis so I walked the 6 km to and from town. I could have hired a motorcycle but needed the exercise. The rooms were comfortable. Plenty of pressure in the shower. Great value.

Very good hotel and quiet,, a little walk to the town, a few minutes, coffee very good, and a light breakfast of toast and your choice of something else,. The room is very good and spacious, big bathroom and toilet, separated by a sliding door,. The staff are very friendly and helpful, all round the hotel is a great choice in mae hong son, price is very good, we have had a relaxing holiday here.

It's quietly off the main Street. The rooms are very big and the bed is the best part. They have soft, good quality mattresses. The internet is fast enough to stream video, and the cable has a couple English stations. The only drawback is they could use a little paint, but that's small potatoes for an affordable room with a big soft bed and fast internet

Still clean and tidy, the bedding is a bit old, the bathroom is small, the price is very good, 400b with air-conditioning. A few steps away from the lake, but I feel that there are quite a lot of accommodations to choose from ~

We stayed in room #3. Very good value for the price (400 baht). The beds are well made and comfortable. The bathroom is spacious and hot water works perfectly. There's a restaurant just next to the guest house and the lake is 2 minutes walk, so the location was perfect for us. Would highly recommend if you are traveling on budget.

Ideal for small budgets right next to the lake close to the best restaurants in town and the 7eleven. On the other hand, household level can do better!

Very well located, the manager is very available and very present the team is less and especially does not speak English. Rooms of uneven standard - ask to see. The 2nd guesthouse seems more comfortable. The two GH are a few meters apart. Kiang doi remains a good address

Clean, cheap, suitable for people who want to relax and like peace. Because it is far from shops, restaurants, and tourist attractions. But if you have a personal car, it's easy to get around.

The price for a double bed is 600 baht. Sleep comfortably. Wake up early to give alms at Su Tong Pae Bridge.

Did not stay at this location, but had a loverly meal, and a couple of drinks. Excellent value for money. The lake has been drained just mud which is a great shame ( doing work on it).

Upper rooms are much nicer then others. Bathroom is dirty, with mould on walls. Anyway, the view from rooftop is really nice and guest house is close to city centre. We stayed in much cheaper and nicer hostels and guest houses so not sure if it value for the money.

Great old style guest house, great price and location. Mr Boondee was very helpful with places to visit and helped us with visa renewal, which was easily done at the local immigration office. Stayed in 2 different rooms both clean, but it's hard to find a soft bed in Thailand.

I stayed only one night and everything was relax. Room and private bathroom were big enough and clean. Central location and quiet. I would like to stay there again if I travel Mae Hong Son. Totally Recommended.

I had a double with aircon. Initially I thought the room looked a bit tired. However it was clean, comfortable and well equipped. Also quiet. The guesthouse is well located. Plenty of parking for bikes. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Overall l was very happy with my stay.

Extremely friendly and helpful owner. Handed us an annotated map of the area and made some excellent suggestions that we might have otherwise missed. Simple room with hot shower and good aircon. What more could you ask for :-)

Mediocre stay at a mediocre place. A positive was the shower was warm and had good water pressure plus the back of the building opens up to the lake and where the night market is held. This a nice little guest house with a superb position on the lake. Everything you need, good wifi, reasonable and comfortable. You can get a great breakfast and coffee in the morning too. It's a 3 minute stroll to the lakeside night market and everything else is in easy reach. Or hire a moped to go up into the mountains. I had a lovely stay there.

One of the Best places to stay in Mae Hong Son. Bamboo cottages in a very nice Park with a pond. Very cozy cafe inside, nice design. Slightly old though. But still comparable to what is around - definitwly a very good place!
