Don’t hesitate: book this wonderful hotel! If you need a quiet vacation in a beautiful spot, this is the place to be! The suites are great, the food delicious and is served at the terrace overlooking the hills and forest. Don’t skip the great breakfast buffet! The staff is very friendly. We had a wonderful stay! And don’t forget your swimming suit: there are two pools, one is even heated!

Wonderful resort experience, we wish we had stayed more than two nights. The location is a bit far outside of Central Chiang Rai so plan for a 300-400 thb taxi. Excellent service with a beautiful view. You could easily stay on the property for an entire trip, but this would be a mistake given everything to see in the region. We definitely stay here again.

Quite,cleaned, well kept, and stuff were welcoming. If you want to zen out, this might be the place. Just a tad expensive for 3 starts hotel.

We check in around 5 pm and got our room with 5 minutes. Now that’s fast, faster then that bird in loony toon.

Less than 1km from Doi Tung palace and there is a tranfer service from Doi Tung to the hotel. Very nice room, good lay out, full amenity, breakfast also has good variety and of good quality. Staff are friendly. Restaurant open for lunch and dinner. However the Last order at 7.30pm so do have your dinner early. Tips Doi Tung open at 9 am so of you stayed here at night and visit Doi Tung in the morning...

One of the best kept secret of Doi Tung. Located less than a kilometer away from the center of Doitung visitor center. The rooms are very well maintained and clean. One of the best places to stay in Chiang Rai. The lodge is a part of Doi Tung. The project was initiated by the Princess Mother, Princess Sangwan. The main objective of tye project is to reforest Doi Tung by engaging with local people. The lodge is very well maintained. The room is big and clean. Great location as start point for trips to the surrounding area. Breakfast was excellent and included a variety of food for every taste (incl. fresh veggies/salads), our bungalow was spacious and super-clean, the bed was so comfortable. In my opinion the Poonyamantra is underrated and offers excellent value-for-money! Highly recommended.

Cozy place. We were traveling across the country and tended to stay overnight and leave early morning to visit the next site. But here we stayed half a day. I was not very happy with the food here. I have been living in Thailand for 6 years and the Thai food here was very average. The function room and breakfast was ok but I would not recommend the food.

This property is like stepping straight into Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. It boasts the most beautiful grounds in Thailand by a large margin. You can eat, drink, and enjoy the scenery here, but it is not recommended for an overnight stay. The lack of soundproofing is a significant issue. Fantastic place to stay, on a mountain, in Chiang Rai province. The view from each room is incredible , while maintaining ones privacy. One also feels completely within nature at all times , due to the lush surroundings. The service from all the staff is also first class. I highly recommend this resort, and will hopefully return in the not so distant future.

Pretty far out from towns but it was a very nice place to spend a day or 2 away from the bustling places. A good place to spend in solitude, if you like being among nature of trees, treks, insects and little animals 😃 the rooms are big and have all facilities for a few nights stay. If you are one to enjoy the wilderness and the sounds of nature. This place is a hidden gem. We booked the cottage with a bath outside and it was relaxing to sit and enjoy the view . The spa experience was awesome. I suggest book a car from the airport so that you are mobile there are lots of places to visit.

Very good place to relax and only few villas in this resort. The villas is surrounding with rice feilds. Staffs are great and the food is tasty. They serve you the organic rice and veggie. Execptional price, It's the resort in chiang-rai that I recommended.

Perfect getaway hotel. Excellent location very isolated. They also keep horses and sheeps that you can visit. Most of the staff is hilltribe and very friendly, not much English spoken though. A true relaxing experience in the area of Chiang Rai. We felt at home thanks to the comfort of the lovely bungalow and the owners authentic Thai cuisine.
