The building is beautiful, terrace overlooking the river and balcony in the room are great. The room was comfortable.

Only came for the restaurants since the places I had pinned were closed that day. Nice view and decent plate of Chinese kale, no condiments on the table but I got some chilies in fish sauce after asking. No service water and slightly elevated prices due to the location but a worthwhile option with nice sunset sunshine.

Great hotel perfectly situated in town. As long as other guests are considerate with noise as requested it's awesome. They are clear that the building is old and that sound carries; It feels a bit like you're on a ship with all the beautiful teak! Beds really comfy, staff lovely, but food needs work. Awesome deck with views for drinks.

The hotel is great, clean and has beautiful views. The restaurant has great food and amazing river views. The swimming pool is really big and on the river which was great for a lazy sunny day. And to top it all off the staff is incredibly helpful, nice, accommodating and speaks English really well.

The hotel is situated on the river with stunning views of the mountains in the background. Perfectly clean, bed very comfy, great A/C, excellent WiFi. The staff are really nice and go out of their way to help you. There is a nice swimming pool at their sister hotel Riverside Resort. It is a bit more expensive than places we normally stay, but we’ll worth the extra cost. Highly recommend

Valued for money. Worth staying at the Teak House section. This nice and cozy hotel even has a sophisticated coffee making machine for those strive for good coffee. Food is good. U can stroll to near by temple. I do recommend waking up very early to visit the morning market in action. The market is less than 5min walk. We stayed here during the Mae Hong Son Loop. It is a very nice resort, walking distance from the restaurants and 7 eleven! If you take in account that we have payed the same amount to stay in a tent this is totally value for money! Very clean and spacious room with private shower and a lovely yard to hang out! Hard to rate this place, it is nicer the longer you stay. Mattress was great...Hard..shower was to my taste with open air. Hut was small but nice.. View for breakfast was super. Staff were nicer the longer I stayed.

It is a nice resort. We had a nice and clean room. We were able to have a good breakfast. The view was also good and it was peaceful. The only downside is the location. At first, it was hard to find it in google map. Good thing we had our gps when we drove there. The staff cant speak English well but they tried to accomodate us especially when we came in late.

950B with breakfast. Very good value. Lovely wood framed historic building. Everything was perfect. We regret that our room had no fridge. In such a warm climate a mini fridge really makes a big difference.

Very nice room with a balcony overlooking the river. It was a bit worn in places and could use some maintenance, but nothing major. We had a comfortable night's sleep. Fast WiFi, easy private parking, decent breakfast included. Very good option for an overnight stay.

Staff not very welcoming and not friendly. Teak house is ok but as mentioned by many reviewers extremely noisy . Hopefully our bed was ok. Have limited expectations if you stop by this place

Super cute little hotel. Airco works great. Food is cheap simple but very tasty. Only downside is a bit of lack of noise isolation in the room. So if you plan on making a lot of noise in the room, or if you're a sensitive sleeper, that might be a downside. Otherwise, great place to stay.

Great experience at this hotel. The receptionist is helpful and good services👍🏻 The room is clean and just facing the river, you can walk from the stairs to the walking area beside the river. Also the hotel just at the walking street, bars and restaurants just walkable

Quaint and the wooden architecture gives it an pleasant feel. The rooms are spacious, so are the balconies. However, the rooms require an upkeep, Cobb webs and dusty boards with unclean shower area takes away the niceness of the place. If attention to detail on just upkeep is made this place would be by far the best place in town.

Low price, clean room, free bike But I stayed road side (C1 room) and it was noisy. I could hear everything including monks. And for people who stay there, please be considered and do not disturb others

Great guesthouse in Mae Sariang. Host is so nice and helpful. Very affordable price. Free water, tea and cookies. Breakfast is included and is big and delicious. Very Central location near restaurants and bars. Host even makes handmade jewelry which is beautiful and for sale. Great spot to stay!

Amazing guest house! It's clean, cheap, the beds are comfortable, no mosquitos and there is free water, tea, coffee and fruits all day long. In the morning there is free breakfast: not only toast with jam but also Pad Thai. The staff is super friendly and really makes an effort in order to answer a guest's question. Perfect stay! It’s basic, clean and they are so nice! Super friendly family. The shower was one of the best I had here in Thailand! Bed is good. I was asking where I could eat sticky rice and the next morning they had sticky rice 🤗 They really made me feel at home. I definitely would recommend this place.

Very basic room. You can stand one night but not more if you don’t have other choices when other GH and hotels are full. You will not feel comfortable if you are hygiene oriented person.

Pros: Clean room, hot shower, fridge, wifi, AC, a small table and chairs. Two towels and two bottles of water provided. Cons: The bed was so soft that my back touched the spring. Some noice from other guests On a cheaper range in this area (450/night) but seem to lack some charm that other guest houses nearby have.

Paid 450 baht for AC room with fridge, TV (Thai channel only) and hot water. Room was clean and tidy and everything worked ok. This old style Thai hotel has a slightly run down appearance and has many different types of room options and prices from 250 to 600++ baht. A budget type of hotel which is good value for money. It's an okay place, relatively expensive for a place in the north. 450 baht for a twin bed, own bathroom, refrigerator and towels. The biggest issue was the aircon making loud screechy noise which disturbed sleep.

1050 baht for an enormous room with excellent hot shower and good WiFi. Dry friendly owner, ok breakfast included and great atmosphere. Good central location too to check out other bars.

A real gem in the town of Mae Sariang. Very beautiful, little hotel with very friendly staff and owner. They have a nice outdoor area with a restaurant for breakfast and dinner, an outdoor area for exercising and a pool. Rooms are very clean and comfy. Great and relaxed place, highly recommended. Will be back!

For starters, they had great rooms with nice beds and showers. The owners were really nice and they introduced themselves to me first and gave me some recommendations with a little map of the town. Great breakfast as well. I had there Thai style pork soup for breakfast. Had plenty of western options as well.

Nice hotel stay, car parking and motor parking is enough for all. Breakfast is a set, you may choose one from their menu. Room is clean, and 1 min walk to laundry and street food. Bicycle is available for free for you to ride around the town ( night time riding is the best in December, windy) owner is very friendly n helpful, highly recommended 🇹🇭🇹🇭🇹🇭👍👍👍

Great place to stay in Mae Sariang! They are very hospitable and accommodating, and the place is very comfortable, beautifully designed, and inclusive of a gym and small pool. To top it all off, Above the Sea has a very positive and uplifting vibe and character, including friendly messages on the walls everywhere!

Nice, easy-going, small hotel situated along the river road, just a block down from Wat Jong Soong and Wat Si Bun Rueang. The pool was delightful and the beds were the most comfortable we had in the area. Despite the small footprint, there were a lot of outdoor places to sit and enjoy a drink or chill. Tiny room with the essentials. Relatively clean, ok shower, great towels and very comfy bed. Although the mattress might be too hard for some westerners. We walked in and paid 500 baht to the friendly receptionist. Keep in mind, you will hear road noise. Pick the room further away from the road.

Very poor breakfast.... almost nothing except banana, white bread, some jams and instant powder coffee!! 900 bath per night!! At least we are very happy with our bungalow!!!

A decent hotel with a mix of rooms: the older typical hotel along with the box style of rooms in the parking area. The box style rooms are fairly new, clean and modern. The only issue is very limited sound insulation.

Hotel is affordable in price with a two and 3 bedroom the rate was 1050 tbh. Parking spaces available. Good place to go to the salawin park if you have some wheels. And on Sunday a market is really just around the corner in the afternoon.

The is quite far feom luxury. But for the price you get a fair one very clean and have a bath. The stuffs are also very 👍 nice. You will have a good night here 🙂

Half the price of guesthouses! And very nice. I came on June 14 (low season). Local guesthouses wanted 700 baht!! This hotel, which is an older style, was about half that price, the room is big, has a desk, a medium fridge, a real full bath, and two chairs, plus a dresser. A private parking lot, too. The bed is very comfortable, like a memory foam mattress. 5 minute waking distance to restaurants...

Very old but quite good hotel. Price for room is 450. Bathroom have a real bath which is rare in Thailand . decent price for this quality

Guesthouse is clean, but so sorry, not good option for traveler without motorbike. They have no any rental bicycle or bike. Just now, her female staf before back home, drove me to 7-11 and then I have find bike-taxi back to guesthouse

200 baht for a bed. Beds are good, come with curtain, socket, etc. Shower so-so. Good for a night on the Mae Hong Son Loop.

This hostel is located in a calm place close to a beautiful lake. It's cheap (200thb/ person), clean, the staff is friendly and helpful and the beds are very comfortable. The price includes towels and coffee. Next to the hostel is a store and they even have a good bar and restaurant.
