I stayed at Good Time for one month, and it was the perfect place to rest and recharge. The environment is beautiful, with a peaceful atmosphere that radiates positive energy. The staff were friendly and it’s a great spot for a long, relaxing stay. Plus, it's a place where you can enjoy an outdoor gym, making it ideal for those who love staying active in nature.

I highly recommend coming to this place. A great view (depending on the room ofc), very friendly staff & owner, including pick-up and drop-off service to the pier.
Even though it was quite rainy, I was able to enjoy my time here!

We had a wonderful stay in Good Time Sports Village. Very friendly staff, Kerstin was very helpful. The resort has a nice yoga hall in the garden and provides yoga classes.
Situated up a small hill, you can reach beautiful beaches on either sides of the island, 5-10 minutes by foot, or rent scooters.
We had also a wonderful day snorkeling, which was worth it.

It took a while but we still needed to write our review from our stay. We visited last november and we can say without doubt that It was the best experience we had from our entire trip in Thailand. Kerstin and Mr. Peak Made sure that we where in the best possible hands and They are great hosts. The location is amazing, the facilities are superb. When one of our bags fell off the golf cart while we were heading to the docks, Mr. Peak scootered his way back in James bond style to retrieve it. Extra kudo’s. All jokes aside. Good Times resort is the place to be when visiting koh mak.

We booked at Good Times Resort for an expected 17 days and initially planned to stay even longer from all of the positive images and nice conversation with the owner, Yodying I had.
Once we got there, the bed and pillows were extremely hard, and the "kitchen" I was promised was just a sink on the balcony outside with some coffee cups and an electric tea pot.
The room uses the same wifi as the check in "co work" station, so I could not hold a connection while in the room. Major issue as a remote worker.
Internet was good in the co work area.
They are horribly understaffed, with the co owner Kerstin working in the morning, and an older gentleman Mr. Peak working the entire rest of the day by himself.
He is always running around and while his energy levels are truly impressive, it leaves the resort very hard to reach anyone when an issue arises. There is just too much on Peak's plate for everything to be taken care of.
We were left without a ride back after taking a boat to Koh Chang, and I couldnt get a hold of anyone except Yodying, who was not on the island.
He was very emotionally charged and told me to blame Mr. Peak and threaten he will get fired. I told him it is not my responsibility to tell him that and I wasn't even that mad.. just trying to figure out if I should buy a taxi or not.
He offered a refund, which I took, because of the stress of not being able to get work done efficiently and the uncomfortable bed and kitchen.
Yodying proceeded to argue with me via text and was even rude at points. I will say Kerstin and Mr. Peak were very kind, but Yodying was rude and stress inducing to speak with
After some back and forth, he sent me a partial refund for the remaining time about 3 days after we left the island
As for the island itself... its pretty cool and little. Good for a short term stay in my opinion. The beaches have lots of bars along, so its not clear if you need to be staying at a resort or be a customer at a bar to use the beach. Free spots can be found though if you explore. Limited restaurants, so expect to eat almost entirely Thai food throughout the day. Food is great at them though
All in all, if you want to stay at Koh Mak, I'd recommend one of the other accommodations and resorts

Our 3rd time here on Koh mak, and we absolutely love coming back. Koh mak sport village is growing each time, with the muaythai gym just a small scooter ride away, also in the same facility there are many gym equipments for fitness. Muaythai classes are great way to keep fit while we are on holidays. We also love the tennis court (indoor) not too far from the muaythai gym. There's table tennis and stand up paddle board waking distant away. We stayed in one of the apartments, was spacious surrounded by lush green tropical plants. There's a fridge in the room and an air-conditioning (which we only used a couple of times) rooms are cool in the night with sea breeze through the fly screen doors. We have met the owners (Yodying) and he was extremely accomodating. they can arrange the scooter hire at the desk also anything else needed with the help from desk, Khun peark. We are looking forward to coming back for longer stay which we already planning another trip back.

On my way to Koh Chang I happen to meet one of the owners of this resort and we had such a nice chat that I decided to join him later on at Koh Mak. Both of the owners put alot of love and effort in the resort. They make you feel at home and the make you feel part of the family. This means when you feel like you can join them and meet for dinner, have chats and play tennis.
The island is amazing. Cause everything you need is there but its still so pure and serene. No big shopping streets or noisy busy bars. Though you can go out for nice drinks and have great food. I stayed in one of the nicely decorated bungalows. The sound of frogs and birds is amazing. Your near the nice pool which is surrounded by tropical trees and I find it big enough to sporty swim and workout. There is a tropical garden and lovely dogs running around to play with. They even guarded my bungalow at night. There is an open air gym in the garden which has all you need and i used it three times. There is a local manager who takes swiftly care of things you need of any kind. Very helpful.

We went to Koh Mak and stayed at Good Time Resort for 5 days. We had a good time. The island is beautiful but very quiet. It's not for everyone, but if you like quiet spots then Koh Mak might be for you.
Good Time Resort has wonderful accommodations. We stayed at a 2 story house in a lush green garden. Staff was friendly and helpful and we liked the food. I would go again.

Beautiful Island, clean and clear sea water.
I enjoyed my stay at Good time resort, nice owner, clean room and friendly staffs.
Also the activities around the Island such as evening Muay Thai training at Hong Thong Muay Thai Gym, morning yoga and watching sunset in the evening. Must visit destination and will definitely return.

We stayed 5 nights in the suite at Good time and were very comfortable. The rooms & balcony were a good size. The balcony had a view over the beautiful gardens. The hot water shower and AC worked well, and there was a decent size fridge to keep our drinks cold. We were collected from the pier on arrival in a cute electric golf cart - bonus points for being green! The staff Mr Peak and Lek were friendly and helpful. We rented a cute scoopy scooter from Mr Peak for 200 baht /day in very good condition (hope in future there might be an affordable electric option too, better for the environment). It was nice that they had such beautiful grounds to walk about in and a swimming pool. We loved musing at the interesting & unique character of each of their other buildings scattered about the complex gardens. Daily housekeeping was available on request, as well as change of linens. We could also get water refills at reception , and buy an espresso for 35 baht (comes with a biscuit). The Wi-Fi worked well, great for remote working. there are comfortable chairs and tables to use, and a decent size wardrobe with a sufficient amount of hangers. The area is peaceful and quiet, with good beaches in walking distance as well as small convenience stores and a couple local Thai restaurants all within around or less than 15 minutes walk.
We had a lovely peaceful time & hope to stay again. Some of the buildings looks like they could do with a bit of maintenance and upkeep but everything was in working order.
