Still the best hotel on the island. Went there for the third time now and will definitely come again. What makes this hotel so special is the staff. Of the resorts on Koh Mak this is our favorite. It is a small and quiet island sand it easy to get around. While staying here we checked out most of the other resorts on the island. Other resorts have better restaurants and reception areas, but the beach bungalows at Koh Mak Resort have better and prettier location. Came here spur of the moment from Koh Kood and am so glad we did. It’s a fantastic place to relax and chill on a beautifully peaceful, empty strip of beach on one of the least developed islands in all of Thailand. Service was excellent too - they let us check out late so we could enjoy the room until it was time to go to our ferry. Breakfast was ok. Will go back again one day.

I just had a beer on the beach. It's next to the pier. It's a bit pricey compared to most bars, but a great location.

Casual beach front resort. Other than the perfect sunsets what makes Koh Mak Resort so special is the staff. They are the best and really do a great job of making sure that you are taken care of. I will never forget these beautiful people and the memories that they helped us make.

Been to beaches around the island and this is the cleanest with a nice reef for snorkeling. The resort is a little long in the tooth, but has a beach charm to it. Good service, great food and friendly staff. The location is central and on the beach and other eateries are just steps away if you want a variety of settings. Staying in the beach front 'Gorilla' bungalow was the perfect, laid back getaway for the family. Motorcycles are available and are perfect for getting around to the various beaches and sites. Stunning view you never seen before, will love this place , the food in the thai restaurant is geat but you will love the burger's roof with chef denis. Otherwise you need to go koh kham with the nice beach and snockling, luv it so much.

Cousy and really nice place for the family. Maybe not the best place for bath due the tide have taken out the sand and reveal some rocks or maybe its corall. But when the tide is low you can go out on the long bridge and swim and maybe take a drink at the bar at the end of bridge.

North Koh Mak beach. Great place, crystal clear water, cool tree bungalows , great rooms , top massage. Super beach restaurant on the beach and perfect bar on the pier. 5 min shuttle boat (a little expensive 300 Bath) to “paradise island”.

Really beautiful resort with amazing sea view and cool infinity pool. Too bad the restaurant wasn’t that nice. A little too cool and staff don’t speak English except the owner. A hidden gem at the end of a small track, on a coral beach. the warmest of welcomes and a fantastic bungalow over looking the sea. the couple who run it, a Polish guy and his Thai wife couldn’t have been kinder or more welcoming.

Wonderful place to stay with picturesque views and a beautiful pool. Would absolutely stay there again. Few small issues were: smoking is allowed everywhere but it shouldnt be allowed at the pool or at the restaurant. It seems most smokers have no concept of wind or common courtesy which can really ruin the relaxing experience when using joint facilities. One other issue is no fan in the bathrooms...

The reception lady is really nice & friendly and very helpful. All staff are. The hotel facilities are nice and clean. Rooms are very roomy. Liked the pool and restaurant terrace overlooking the ocean which is directly opposite Koh Kham. Only one down side is the sewage smell in the bathroom.
