Koh Mak Buri Hut Natural Resort

For the price it was great!!! We spent a week at this beautiful resort!!! Romantic place for couples!!! Clean rooms and soft bed was amazing!!! It was peaceful, quiet, and staff made you feel at home!!! The woman who runs the place made sure we were very comfortable and happy!!!

We decided not to rent a motorbike. The resort has its own taxi and always quickly got us a ride to where we wanted to go. Island is not that big so if you enjoy walking go for it.

Delicious food!!! The woman cooking the food does an amazing job!!! They have a restaurant on sight with Thai and western options. For being on sight and with a sea view the prices were reasonable. Only a few places on island we found cheaper and the atmosphere was not as nice with zero views.

Cons: lots of stairs. We did pick a room that required more stairs however the views were worth it. I almost fell twice on the stairs. If the hotel ever does a remodel please add ramp walk ways. Steps are dangerous. Give the guest two options.

The bathroom kills some of the romance if someone uses the toilet haha. My advice open the window and door in the room and air it out. For the price worth it. Happy customers!!!! Thank you

The resort itself is great: the room is clean, big and very comfortable, every morning you get new water bottles, has a great and big pool, a pier from where you can watch the sunrise, and the lady working at the reception is very helpful. The downsides are: don't expect a nice beach here, the one in this location has red sand and it's rocky. It's not good for swimming, but you can rent a motorbike to drive around the island (it's small and very easy to drive). Also the restaurant is VERY expensive, we haven't eaten there cuz you get cheaper and good ones driving 4 min from the resort.

One of the best resorts we've been to. The huts are spacious enough, clean with comfy bed, A/C and a fan. There's a pool, restaurant, bike rental to get around, beach and a pier where you can chill and watch the sunrise. The place is family friendly and quiet for a good value. Puu the receptionist is very kind and helpful!!!

Great Resort. They upgraded our room considering availability, rented a great condition motorbike, and picked us up/dropped off for ferry. I mean, what else can you ask for?

AMAZING resort! We loved our time staying in this beautiful resort, the pool was lovely and the beach on-site is honestly just as nice as some of the other beaches on the island, and we had it all to ourselves which made it even more amazing! The staff here are all so lovely, a special thanks to Pou for making us feel so comfortable. Highly recommend staying here, it is only a 5-7 minute drive to the centre of Koh Mak and we were able to rent a scooter on-site.

This place was not just wonderful. It was perfect. Beautiful grounds. Excellent pool and beach… and the staff: Wow! Be careful, they can become family very quickly with their giant hearts. Blessed to have found this place… sad to go. It was like Hotel California. Only checking out because I have to… not because I want to. What a gem!

Beautiful view of a bay. Functional bathroom. Any issues fixed quickly. Most friendly concierge I’ve ever encountered. Loved it!

Nice location by the Ao Nid pier and the little cute blue hut 🛖. Nice to stay for a solo traveler and couples.
