The Cove

Nice quiet location. Very attentive staff and nice breakfast with unlimited coffees all morning. Didn’t have all the water sports equipment available until Dec. Beach is good for swimming but not snorkeling. Rooms not as remote as appear on website and not much soundproofing

We stopped by quick lunch only and the location and breeze setting just right in front of the ocean where you could relish ourself to be pleasant and relaxing at all times. We have no second thought to be return next time, having a genuinely welcoming staff and great food offering.

Above all, my lil gal is literally delighted to be here.

We had a wonderful six night stay at The Cove. We hired the Family House and would highly recommend everything about it. The staff are so friendly and helpful, from the welcome drink to being given a WhatsApp number to make any arrangements to the lovely daily breakfast by the beach. The woodfired pizza was great too. It's in a really quiet location, just a short trip to the local village which has some good dining options. Likewise it's about a 20 min taxi ride to Phuket town. The resort has paddleboards and a kayak you can take out on the water, with the water calm and suitable for younger kids.

One of the best restaurant with a varied menu, everything we ate in the dinner was very good. For sure recommended place if you stay near by!

I just got back from an incredible stay at The Cove at Ao Yan Beach in Phuket, and I can’t stop raving about it! From the moment I arrived, I knew I had found a little piece of paradise. The location is absolutely perfect—right on the beach with stunning views that took my breath away every morning.

The food was a delightful surprise! Every meal was a treat, with a variety of options that catered to everyone’s tastes. I especially loved trying the local Thai dishes; they were bursting with flavor! It was the perfect way to experience the culture.

The room I stayed in was fantastic—spacious, beautifully decorated, and so comfortable. I loved having my own little sanctuary to relax in after a day of exploring.

What really stood out to me, though, was the staff. They were genuinely lovely and made me feel right at home. From the warm greetings to their helpful recommendations, their hospitality added so much to my experience.

If you’re looking for a getaway that combines stunning scenery, delicious food, and wonderful service, I can’t recommend The Cove at Ao Yan Beach enough! I’m already dreaming of my next visit!

Very nice staff, really good Cocktails and the pizza was amazing. We had a great afternoon there and can definitely recommend the cove beach bar and restaurant.

I came here to have my breakfast on 25 mins by motorcycle and it worth it!

We stayed for 2 nights at the beginning of our stay in Thailand and returned for a further 3 days at the end because we loved it so much. Nestled away from the busy tourist-full parts of Phuket, the team at The Cove made our stay perfect: great food, excellent service and gorgeous rooms. The beach is great to swim at although dependant on the tides (where isn’t?) and the view across the bay is lovely.

The Cove is a hidden gem, and reasonably priced. It is a quiet resort, off the main road and because it is relatively small it was not too noisy or busy. Everything about it was amazing - the location, the accommodation, the staff - all amazing. The rooms are beautifully decorated and very clean. The beach was literally 20 steps from our room and the bay, and it's views, were stunning.
The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, with a particular shout-out to the manager Rachael who was super friendly and welcoming, and would just spend time chatting and getting to know the guests.
They have a lovely restaurant with a varied menu, everything we ate was delicious and fresh - breakfast, lunch and dinner.
I would have no hesitation recommending The Cove and I will definitely be returning.

Just used the bar here twice during my beautiful solo afternoon - evening at Ao Yon bay. This bar is a truly comforting calming place overlooking the sea with sand floor and beautiful wooden furniture. Plugs near tables for charging convenience ! Really lovely welcoming bar staff , gorgeous place by a very quiet beach (basically me and two other people) with low tide perfect for paddling and shell finding, a lot were hermit houses so didn’t pop them in my bag luckily !
