Overall, our stay was pleasant. The rooms are well-maintained but show signs of aging. The staff was excellent and always willing to help. Unfortunately, we couldn’t use the in-room bathtub because the hot water ran brown continuously and couldn’t be fixed before the end of our stay.

We LOVED our stay at Amatara. The resort grounds were very well kept, our villa was always immaculate, the private pool was perfect! Breakfast buffet and specially all the staff that worked there were so friendly and willing to make your stay so happy.

We stayed 6 nights here for our honeymoon and it was beyond amazing. The staff in particular were the best, especially Joy, who helped us relocate rooms when we needed to. My husband and I loved this resort. The room was large and comfortable with an ocean view. We loved the beautiful pools as well as the cordoned-off ocean section which was shallow but lovely. The beach is quiet and beautiful. We enjoy free 1-hour rowing and swimming pool there. The highlight of the trip is Seafood platter. Staffs are generous giving us 2 free drinks and a memorable photo. The mattress is definitely comfortable. We also enjoy the outdoor bathtub. In general, it’s a great experience with My Beach Resort. We feel so relax and enjoyable while staying there!

This hotel is worth staying at. Once we checked in the room we had a water leakage problem and when told the reception staff they were really helpful and gave us an upgrade in the next day. Nice place to spend the day with very friendly staff and a mix of different Thai food selections or international dishes on the menu. We arrived early and they had our room ready so they allowed us to check in early which was amazing! The buffet breakfast was great too, big variety and eggs cooked to your liking. The rooms get renovated which make them quite nice and clean. The location is superb, unfortunately, this place hasn't been fully operated after COVID19 so several facilities are not quite in good condition. Another reason may be that the foreign tourists stopped coming after COVID, making this place so quite, peaceful, and somehow lonely.

If you’re looking at this place here is what you need to know. First - the reviews for this hotel are very divergent. Some people like this and others just hate it. A true hidden Gem. Doesn’t look like much from the street, once you’re inside...Beautiful location, lovely staff, very kind. All the amenities you could want. We really enjoyed our stay here for two weeks. Room was modern with nice bed and good view onto ocean. We had two(!) pools, one by the room, and the main one by the restaurant. Went for Christmas Day with a group of friends, great package put together by the management, well looked after all day, evening and night. From this part of Phuket you get to watch the beautiful sunset and the live music was great too. Rooms are comfortable and its a large pool that overlooks the ocean.
