Consists of one 2-storey buildings and six single storey villas.

The positive:
+ Staff/service very friendly.

The negative (in our case):
- It's all about expectations. We were looking for a quiet place to get some rest and recharge our batteries. Unfortunately, there was a food festival in the hotel, just between the pool and the beach when we arrived - which last 2 more days. Hence, difficult to find a parking, not as quiet as we were looking for and crowded. Guess we just came at the wrong time, otherwise relaxing.
- We got a room upgrade but it did not change the very first impression. Room was clean, big and well furnished with a big terrace. The bathroom sometimes a bit smelly but we got used to it.

I highly recommend Mangrove hotel as I had the best time !!! Beautiful scenery, astonishing scenery and the best customer service. Mangrove hotel makes your stay so pleasant and wonderful. I have only stayed one night though I wish i could stay longer. I will definitely come back here ❤️

It is one of the best resorts you can stay at in Panawa region of Phuket. Total beauty, this place is serene with lagoon on one side and hills on other. Top notch service and room. Very sweet and helpful staff at the property. Amazing stay. Keep up the the dreat hospitality.

Amazingly cheerful, polite and helpful staff. Much love for them. Super clean, great food, great prices at the restaurant. The pool is super nice and clean. They have a big relaxation zone with hammocks, swings, soft beds. The resort is full of local flora and looks really exotic for the eye of the european

Feels Just Like Home!
I checked in super late (almost midnight!), and the staff were so thoughtful—they called and messaged to make sure I was all set. My room was awesome! It was laid out perfectly for relaxing, working, and even had a cute little pantry. Plus, the soap smelled like bananas, which was funny and surprisingly nice!
I did find some sand in my room, though—on the bed and by the door. Not a huge deal, but I hope they clean it up better next time. The breakfast? Tasted great, but I was a bit bummed by the limited options. Overall though, the staff were super friendly, and it still had a cozy vibe. I’d stay again for sure!

We looked for a long time for a family friendly hotel off the tourist tracks and we are so happy we found Mangrove Hotel. Our stay has been super pleasant and relaxing and I would come back here next time. The pool is great, the restaurant serves good quality Thai food. Dont expect crystal clear waters from the beach, but the water view from the pool adds extra relaxation and you can see big buddha in the distance!

Incredible resort, amazing staff (Hung,Fee,….all the staff are amazing).

The staff were extremely welcoming and lovely. The location is beautiful, and provided lots of fun activities. The grounds of the resort are maintained with care.
We rented a motorcycle from the resort and were able to explore Phuket with ease.
We highly recommend The Mangrove and would love to come back again! ☺️

Amazing hotel! It’s right on beach near a mangrove (hence the name). They have a great pool which is nicer to swim in however. If you want to use the sea then they you can use kayaks and their paddle boards for free. The rooms are clean and the grove bar is great

Nice environment but bad service. Was attracted by the vibe and price there but won’t book again.
Pros:
Nice vibe and quietness of the public spaces and location.
Large room with views of greens and the beach.
Has lots of activities like kayaking.
Cons:
Not clean. As we could see some color marks in the bed sheet and water marks in the desks.
Too moist that even the sheets feel kind wet. But it seems a common issue of lots of hotels in Phuket.
Different to communicate with both English and Chinese but it was ok. While the attitude of the staff was kind of weird and unprofessional. We found the tap keeping running and we called the staff to fixed it. However we didn’t get even any apologies from the staff at the reception. And even they were kinda unwilling when we asked for second room card.
And I felt allergic after staying there so I requested to cancel following order, but they refused for the in-refundable policy of this order. And it’s weird that they had three staff to talk with me through the phone one by one and were kinda rude.
