Well, Green Hill is a bit of a hidden gem in Phayao?!
We lived in Phayao for 7 years and haven't been back for the best part of 4 years due to Covid. This hotel wasn't there previously, but I can wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone visiting Phayao, or Northern Thailand at any time.
Without a shadow of a doubt, the pool is the best I have experienced in pretty much any hotel anywhere - it is a large (20 x 20m) salt water pool (you wouldn't notice the salt at all) and, although there isn't much in the way of shade, the pool itself is exceptional! And by that, I mean it beats the majority of 4/5 star hotel pools I have used in Bangkok hands down...
The rooms are clean, spacious and well-appointed - we had a 3 bed room for my wife, daughter and myself which can be seen in the attached photos. It had a bath, shower and separate 'room' with a single bed and we couldn't really fault it!?
We didn't have breakfast included, and I am not sure whether that is an option either? That said, there are so many options in Phayao town centre that it doesn't matter anyway...
Highly recommended. Give it a try if you want a well priced hotel with an excellent pool in Phayao!

OK for 1000 baht. It's by the beautiful lake and basic room. No breakfast but comfortable bedroom with good air. Recommended.

Good hotel for 1000 baht per night. No breakfast though. Some rooms have lake view for 1200 baht per night. Good parking area. Recommended.

The hotel is good with the swimming pool, but the location is not good, and because of construction from the other building, now the air is not clear nearby and the view of the lake is really bad now. Breakfast is not really qualified with its price. You deserve better place with this price.

Very nice rooms with a good view of the lake from the lakeside view rooms. Comfortable bed and bathroom with a tub and shower. (Why a bathtub I don’t understand.) Huge TV, but no chairs on the balcony or poolside. Breakfast was pretty poor. I thought a bit overpriced at 1400 baht for lake view room.
