Pattara Resort & Spa

The hotel has a beautiful green area and a lovely pool area. However, there are few loungers and only a limited outdoor shower (the handheld mixer keeps falling off when in use). Otherwise, the hotel rooms are good, but a bit dated, and the air conditioning is a bit loud for my personal taste. The breakfast is good, and there's something for everyone. However, the selection could be a bit more varied overall.

Beautiful architecture and surroundings, with a big pond of lily pads, such a relaxing atmosphere. The deluxe double room was beautiful and spacious with a large bathroom and a nice terrace overlooking the pond. However, despite booking for 3 guests, the room was not properly equipped. Instead of an extra bed, the staff converted the sofa into a makeshift bed with a thin mattress, which was very uncomfortable. This setup should not be marketed as suitable for 3 guests, and charging extra for it felt unreasonable. The staff showed little concern and had we known beforehand, we would have booked 2 rooms for a more comfortable stay. WiFi was very slow and the aircon was loud.

The hotel restaurant served good food with a pleasant atmosphere. Breakfast was enjoyable. However, it was surprising that no desserts were on the menu. The service was very slow, we waited over 30 minutes for 2 drinks and an hour for room service, which was quite frustrating.

Overall, the setting is beautiful, but service and room arrangements need improvement.
