Been here two times, first time they had some issues about booking and that when we arrived they said the riverside tent we booked has already been occupied by another guest already but they tried to find another non-riverside tent plus compensation which was acceptable. Second time the tent we were given was a little bit unattended and not as clean as it should...

We really liked the hotel but the reviews aren't joking when they say it's in the middle of nowhere. Very cute place. Nice pool with great service and friendly staff. Amazing view from the pool. We had dinner served family style because of our large group but everything was great. Good breakfast options, Thai and western choices. Floating raft houses were fun and quaint. There were a lot of bugs in the open air restaurant but that is to be expected as it is outside!

Pung-Waan was such a beautiful place to stay, we were welcomed so well and absolutely amazed by how cool the raft houses were! The houses could be a bit better maintained but it is well worth it to stay on a river:) the pool was also one of the best I’ve stayed at, with a slide too!

Great location, great view. Amazing weather around this time! The room is very thin though and with a lot of squeak because it's made from wood. The only problem is the restaurant order is very very slow. 1 hour and 30 minutes but the food is worth the wait because it tasted very delicious!

Great hotel with so many activities . We went paddle boarding and river rafting and it was so much fun and is great that there’s such great activities at the hotel. This place is located near the national park. You can either drive and park near the hotel or use the speedboat service from the hotel’s pier and it takes only 10 minutes. Very beautiful place surrounded by nature and birds. Very relaxing place. Pool is good, restaurant ok and you can easily walk to Lawa Cave and into the jungle. The access to the hotel is through local boat. Really cool

The resort is nestled in the jungle and spread over a large area with natural gardens and is very pleasant. The museum alone is worth the price of the accommodation. Anyone visiting the war cemetery or Hellfire Pass Memorial should also visit the private museum on this property.

After reading some reviews ( negative ones ) I got to the conclusion that some rooms are better then others, We had a great room, spacious, clean, lovely balcony overlooking the River ( regular double room ), Quiet piece full, The staff where easygoing and friendly, We liked it so much we decided to stay a day longer then we planed, Would definitely stay again !

we stayed in Family room with 2 bed rooms(4beds) and 2 toilets, room was a bit old but cheap, clean, big space, nice big balcony and excellent service. We gOt the room cleaned everyday, towels and amenities were provided for the whole stay. Its really good value 👏
