Reviews
I wasn’t impressed by the food and they got my orders wrong so I ended up with too much chili in my dish. The food is expensive for what it is. Small dishes in comparison to other places.
Beach chairs and good atmosphere !
Reception is sweet and service minded when I was here.
You will be walking a lot every day from room to beach as the area is big and spacey.
I love the live music here.
I came 3 times before and ordered steak. 2 nights in a row they accept my order but end up af 15min saying that the kitchen just closed.
I came 3th day and they say the steak was too stinky to serve. Maybe because it’s hard to find on the menu as there are no pictures of it on their menu but written with small letters. It’s a shame and maybe that’s why they don’t sell enough steak… they said sorry but now im sitting with my drink i just bought and other restaurants close in 30min
The hotel room had a weird, inconvenient layout. Enter the room through the bathroom where you had a mirror held together by duct tape. The bedroom was upstairs. A good size but other than the bed no furniture. No desk, no chairs, no closet. The only storage was 2 small drawers next to minibar.
The light switch for the bedlamp was miles away from the bed and could not be reached from bedside
The stairwell had a frosted glass that let in all the light from the hallway, so the room could not be dark at night. The room was cleaned daily if requested. On arrival day, the 2 cokes/2 sprites were free, and then no longer refilled during my entire stay.
They ask for a cash damage deposit upon check-in and you will find an extensive list of how much each damage/lost item cost.
The breakfast was ok, but lack of western food such as bacon, cold cuts, cheese, fresh bread, croissants. There is an omlet/ eggs to order station. The staff is buzzing around clearing tables but not cleaning, wiping down, replacing placemats, so at times it felt disappointed and uncomfortable.
The beach is upfront, the beach bar and restaurant have food/beverages, a bit pricey compared to other eateries along the beach. Cocktails on the weaker side. They have a fire show on some nights. They also play live music during the day, starts at 10h30 on some days. The musician also plays a saxophone, for hours, the same 10 songs over and over every day, Very annoying.
They dont have beach chairs but bean bags instead. They were ok. The staff does not care if non-hotel guests use them which is annoying when you as a hotel guest are left without umbrella.
All in all so so. Beach was nice and one could find a quiet spot on either end. I would not stay here again however.
Rooms advertised as resort hotel looks like they are not finished.
Price very expensive for the room.
Supposed to have a garden view can only sea branches.
Reception understaffed constant queue. Check in takes an age
Out of room all morning with make up room sign left clearly on door.
Come back 13:45. Room not made up or resupplied. Staff were cleaning room next door when I left.
No prior warning from hotel no ATMS on the island.
Would not recommend this place glad I'm leaving tomorrow.
Their breakfast was quite decent but the service was awful and they turned off the lights at the breakfast place while we were still sitting there finishing our breakfast which felt completely unnecessary. Their beachfront restaurant/bar had similar service, the staff were completely uninterested in being there and the cocktails were below par.
All in all a very average hotel that would’ve been okay if the prices matched their quality but it was expensive and they only get away with it because of their location. It has potential so hopefully they make some changes soon enough
First they lied to my wife when she called to ask about room price they said 1000 THB and when we arrived suddenly price jumps to 4000 baht
Second I asked if I good book through Agoda because price was cheaper and then the reception girl who wears glasses and speaks English starts to doge and say that Agoda causes problems so better to book with traveloka which I did and be hold there was a problem with the booking. The hotel basically made me pay through Agoda and then refused the payment and now I have to wait 45 days for the money to be refunded to my account. Next time if the hotel wants to charge expensive prices and doesn't want customers to pay via Agoda then they should just say so instead of wiggling around. Would never come back here for sure.
The rooms are nice and clean and the beds are very comfortable.
Close walk to the beach. The food is pricy so find somewhere else to eat.
My only complaint is the other guests... they leave a mess on the beach and for some reason they like to slam their room door and it's very loud. The resort should put a sign up on every room door asking not to slam door but to close quietly.
The restaurant at the beach is kind of expensive in my opinion but the food and drinks are very good. However, to the manager: add more waitors to the beach and you will make a lot more money. It was very hard to order and we had to go to the bar. Sometimes we ordered stuff at the beach and they forgot our order because they had too much to do.
