Very friendly staff, great beach, good food! We stayed 5 days at the end of the rainy season and the hotel was not fully booked. We had a great time and could enjoy the facilities almost alone.

We didn't stay at 'Vimarn Samed Resort' but we had meals there and used the pool. It is a clean and tidy place on a rocky headland with superb views of 'Wong Duean' bay. Unfortunately the food was only average - otherwise I would have thought it a good place to stay another time.

Just arrived and this place is beautiful. I think the pics speak for themselves. Very friendly and professional staff greeted us on arrival. Easiest checkin that I've ever done. Probably the best place to stay in Koh Samet Saikaew Beach area. Only 1 minute walk from Saikaew beach or 5 minute walk from main food-pub-shopping street. Quiet and natural. When you need, hotel staff transfer you to taxi point by their motobikes. Hotel has it's own private small beach though no facilities there. The smell of burning garbage every night made out baby sick. At night the island has several burn areas to burn all the garbage in open out fire. It's is very toxic and the smoke would blow in our room all night. Other than that the hotel was great and good staff.

I didn't stay here, but just visit the beach, it was not crowded however stuff is friendly since they are are thai but they are really slow. I am not sure the cost of stay but worth to try if you don't like crowded.

To my opinion it's one of the best hotels on the one of the best islands in Thailand. Why? Beacause you can walk to many biutiful beaches from this place, and you have shop nearby, and a center of the city not very far if you need it. Local beach is 30seconds from your room number. And very biutiful garden... breakfest is good. And of course here we have very nice disco in evening.

I was recommended this place for dinner but came twice both for lunch and dinner it was so good. Massive menu with a great choice of traditional Thai food, the best I had while in Koh Samed. Have stayed here many times before, but not for several years. We booked the beach houses which are right at the front. The staff and service was extremely friendly, remembering us after maybe a 6-7 year absence. Kitchen and restaurant are good and cope with busy periods quite well. Very relaxed atmosphere.

It’s definitely a nice hotel, very modern, very nice interiors, the cafe and the jungle rooms are quite special. However, i felt a bit weird there, traveling alone, I guess it’s not the perfect place for solo traveling. Also, for me, the food was not the best, there were not a lot of vegetarian or vegan options.
