Hotel is a bit vintage, but we received 5* service. Rooms are big with very comfortable beds. Breakfast was the best one I've ever had in hotel and breakfast package.

Without doubt one of the the top hotels in Tak to stay at. Very big and comfortable rooms some even with great views. Very helpful, smiling and polite employees and also good English speaking. The hotel also offers a bit old but still nice swimming pool and a big breakfast buffet. Located very central and with everything within walking distance. Good: nice big room with majestic view of the river. The staff seem lovely. Bad: You are not going to sleep past 8 AM in this hotel. The reason that I give totally only 3 stars is because of the quality of the restaurant. The hotel is absolutely good for its price. Spacious and clean rooms and good quality beds. Of the many provincial mid-range hotels I had in upcountry Thailand, Viang Tak offers the best value for money. It has oodles of amenities not always found in this price range, a staff throughout polite and eager to be helpful and an A1 location. Optionally it can be booked without breakfast. Villa type hotel, they are do generous to prepare snacks and drink for your stay. Cost very reasonable, room is very big, breakfast is OK.

A good clean hotel right outside is the jungle and a pond,great for just staying to observe the nature and breakfast is good.

Big, clean room in a competitive price. Hotel is located not far from center of Tak, on by-pass road in Tak provice and near a road to Mae Sod area. There is no convenience store around here.

One of the best value for money hotels I have stayed in. 600฿ got a decent sized room with a large soft bed (the most comfortable hotel bed I have slept on in Thailand!) and a TV bigger than normal. Bathroom and laundry were spotless and staff helpful. Recommended!

Well-designed, clean and large bedroom / bathroom. Plenty of space for car parking. Only minor flaw is their thin walls, you can hear noise from the adjacent rooms. The room rate is very satisfactory, even without complete breakfast.

this exceeded our expectations...we had a very spacious room overlooking the pool. The pool was clean and well maintained. The staff at reception were pleasant and accommodating, even using an app for English to Thai translation. Breakfast was included in our accomodation with excellent choices for all. Be careful oh, there is no lift . Old people and people with a bad leg . Need to call and reserve a room on the first floor . Also one time we stayed and the room in the back was quiet . Quiet and peaceful location, within range of food delivery. Friendly and polite staff. Plenty of outdoor parking. WIFI Internet works quite fast. Despite the grand exterior look, room facilities aren't that convenient, some didn't work well as it should. 3 storeys but no elevator, only stairs so, transferring luggage was quite troublesome. Stayed for a short while. Amazing looking place and price as well. Although we had higher expectations for the hotel judging from the looks. No lifts, just stairs. During our stay the pool was also unavailable which did turn let us down. The rooms were a good size but the bathroom was a little compact. Breakfast venue was great! This is an excellent hotel and possibly the best in the area. The hotel is extremely clean and well looked after, there are some aged related cosmetic, small issues, nothing major. Nice place. Lots of parking. Room was nice. No phone in our room. Unfortunately our room balcony was next to the smoking balcony. The bed was comfortable and was easy to fall asleep in. The food was fair. Nothing was exceptional. The toaster took 4 times to get our toast golden brown. Didn't have time to look around the area. Will return to Tak to explore.

A renovated hotel for travellers during their transit to the north, situated in the heart of the Tak province. But their service is under Thai hospitality standard.

Highly recommended to all of you. The hospitality here is marvelous. Great place to have great memories. Good food and good environment.

I giving it at 2 stars temporary judging by the outlooks of the building, will check-in today and reviewing again. Finally had check in. friendly receptionist with sweet smiling, clean. clean and comfortable rooms. Like it will visit again.

The place is awesome. For 380 bah/night, I and my husband love the quiet place. Free strong wifi. The cleaners and the front desk lady is very accomodating. They deserve a raise and bonus in their salary😊. Free breakfast (coffee and chocolate drink, rice soup (pork) hope they have chicken flavor and toasted bread). Come and drop by. HPRTak was a perfect rest stop on my long trip around Thailand. The country setting was very pleasant, and the owners were commendable! My room was spacious and homey and the resort had an old Italian traditional style mixed with home made goodness. Not an old place, jut the style.

A wonderful small resort 5km from Tak.Home Paradice is located about 5 km E of the Tak Bus Station. If you didn’t arrange for the resort to pick you up, there are 3 Wheel Motorcycles that serve as Taxis. Tell them the name of the resort and if that fails tell the driver to head E towards Sulkothai and left at Lotus Fresh. The resort is -5 km from the main Highway.

At 560 bath a nice cozy room with hot shower and a very friendly owner. We arrived late at night without a reservation and although it was already dark we got a room.

Lovely accommodation, cats can be brought into the room, convenient, very good for traveling for people who bring pets. The service is very cute. The bed slept very well.

In summary, this place is a good budget hotel with spacious room with a little choices of free breakfast.

I got a 3rd floor room, price 690 baht, breakfast included. Clean, a lot of useless space in the room, poor forniture, normal bed, good shower. Rooms doors are virtual. No sound isolated and two fingers space between the door and the floor. Each time someone close the door you can hear the sudden noise like it was into your room. Location was a little out of town, but that was,nt a problem for me.The owner (landlord) could,nt have been nicer, he made a late breakfast shortly after my arrival. The room and bathroom were spotless,had the best night sleep of my trip so far. Would highly recommend this place, and will stay again if travelling north again.

To reply on Insecs in the room, Yes i had a few mozzies in the room, quite normal.. but that has nothing to do with cleaness, place is cleaner the most hotels so dont confuse insecs in the room with a not clean room...

Great Thai Resort with wonderful wooden cabins with front decks. Comfortable beds and A/C, TV, bath shower. Also has a long building with great rooms for cheaper price. Free Thai breakfast included. Friends who came to visit us in Tak stay here. Located about 3-4km W of Tak Bus Station on the highway to Sulkothai. From Bus Station take 3 wheeled motorcycle taxi. Tell them Magmai Resort.
