Sofa Hotel

Sofa Hotel is one of the most beautiful and unique hotel we have ever stayed. The entire facility is just stunning and filled with rich history. You can feel the hearts and soul poured into this beautiful hotel. The family run hotel actually has family members living in it. They were a part of the team and always nice and helpful to the guests.

The staff was warm, extremely helpful, and speaks perfect English. The location is perfectly situated away from all the bustling attractions with overpriced restaurants, but just within the walking distance to many amazing local foods and riverside walkways.

The breakfast was the best we have ever had during our 4-day stay in Cappadocia. Forget about the big Turkish breakfast that would cost you a fortune. Stay with Sofa Hotel and enjoy the best breakfast you can ever have. 10/10 would visit again if I am visiting Cappadocia (it even could be the reason why we return to Cappadocia).

They help booking the air balloon rides, tours, activities, and hotel pickups. I've done the math, and their deal was really good, especially during the high season.

Their yard has a peaceful atmosphere. Hotelrooms are old style, yet very nice. Groceries across the street. Everything you need for a nice stay. Highly recommended. Awesome breakfast. Fresh fruits, breads and more.

Good spot in avanos with very reasonable rates and nice breakfast. Rooms and courtyard were very cozy with a nice atmosphere. Good staff too

We stayed in this hotel during our time in Cappadocia. Within a 15 min ride to Goreme, it is located in a more calm and less touristic area. The rooms have a very authentic feel as well as the hotel in its whole. The people are friendly and very helpful. We also had really nice breakfast every morning!! Bonus point for the cute cat walking around in the morning during breakfast!

A very good hotel, beautifully decorated with antique items. Cave rooms are unique. Staff is friendly.

I stayed in Sofa hotel 4 days / 3 nights at the beginning of November 2023. Everything was great! People are so kind and open to help with anything, also the owner speaks English. A lot of options for breakfast (was included). My room (Venessa) was clean, warm and beautiful! Everything worked in the room. Shower hot and clean. The hotel itself is just a museum! Decorations are wonderful. You can spend a few hours just to look around. It was hard to leave. I will definitely come back!

In fact, I could have spent a good 4 to 5 hours simply discovering the exquisite details and unique features within the hotel itself. What truly sets the Sofa Hotel apart, however, is the impeccable service. The manager went above and beyond to ensure that every aspect of our stay was perfect. They thoughtfully arranged our airport pickups and drops to and from Kayseri airport, making our travel seamless and stress-free.

The rooms were not just comfortable but also elegantly designed, providing a sense of serenity and relaxation after a day of exploring the breathtaking Cappadocian landscape. The hotel's blend of traditional and modern design elements created a unique and welcoming ambiance.

This was undeniably one of the best hotel experiences I have ever had. The Sofa Hotel offers an extraordinary blend of luxury, culture, and hospitality, and it's clear that the entire team takes immense pride in making their guests feel special. I loved staying here. Is such a lovely place. A cave hotel like a labyrinth. I felt I was on a movie set every day. I couldn't stop admiring the details, as is so beautifully decorated, like a museum and at a very safe and convenient location. I had everything I needed during my stay. Erdinc, the owner of the hotel is an amazing host, very welcoming and caring. I had such a great time.
My room was a (Turkish:) )delight, decorated so authentically with so many art pieces and and with the most comfortable bed; spacious room and they always cleaned it for me during my stay ( I kept extended as I loved it there:) )
I highly recommend it !
