We stayed at Caretta-Caretta Pansion on a friend’s recommendation — and it exceeded all expectations! Cozy bungalows, a quiet green garden, lounge area, and the sound of cicadas — everything invites you to relax completely.
Breakfasts were a true delight: fresh fruits, juices, and delicious hot dishes. The hosts, Durmus and Katerina, created a warm and caring atmosphere and were always ready to help, even beyond regular service. They truly listen to guests’ wishes and make them real. Their kind helpers, Natasha and Abdullah, made our stay even more comfortable. And their sweet little daughter Ayla brought a special warmth and heartfelt touch, making the atmosphere truly family-like and unique.
The location is excellent — only about 500 meters to the sea, with a shop and great restaurants nearby. Bicycles are also available for guests, making it easy and enjoyable to explore the beautiful surroundings.

We had a wonderful stay at the Caretta-Caretta pension, where we stayed in the Caretta Villa. The villa is a beautiful, spacious apartment with a fully equipped kitchen, making it feel like a home away from home. The terrace was a highlight—very cozy, beautifully designed, and offering a stunning shaded view. The garden was lovely, adding to the serene atmosphere, and the hosts were incredibly hospitable, making our stay even more enjoyable. The breakfast was simply excellent. We loved every moment of our time there and would highly recommend it!

From the moment of our arrival at the airport we were welcomed and well looked after by Durmus and Katerina, our hosts at the Caretta Caretta Pansiyon. Our air-conditioned room, although quite sparsely furnished, was spotlessly clean and well maintained as was the whole of the Pansiyon. The beds were comfortable and the walk in shower was fast flowing; the temperature was readily adjustable. The breakfast was excellent, as much as you could eat and plenty of choice; indeed different dishes were served every day during our stay. The service was prompt, obliging and friendly; nothing was too much trouble for the staff and special requests were readily accommodated. Free bottled water was provided and always available, but additionally the filtered tap water from a local aquifer was safe to drink. There was a children’s play area with a sand pit and there were plenty of toys, children’s bicycles, etc. available to keep the little ones occupied. Bicycles were available for exploring or to get to the beach, but we usually chose to walk. Late one evening we had a mains power cut, but the Pansiyon’s private generator kicked in within a couple of minutes restoring our lights, air conditioning and free Wi-Fi. The Pansiyon looked after our airport transfers, especially useful as our arrival and departure were at unsociable hours. We were particularly impressed that Katerina came in person to see us off on our 4am departure!

The hotel has wooden bungalows (a bit smaller than the average cruise ship cabin) with private patios and air conditioning and includes a typical free breakfast, WiFi, bicycles for use and free parking. It has a playground for families with children. And loads of pre-school children there are. And loads of cats. Every family sticks to themselves and everyone speaks Russian. With no TV in the room, this is a pretty boring place unless you want to sit on the beach all day. The trees scattered between the bungalows have ripe pomegranates and (unripe) oranges, lemons and limes. There are a handful of chickens running around the place. The condition of the interiors of the bungalows looks brand new. The mattress is the now-familiar flat slab – not uncomfortable, but it takes getting used to a 6-inch mattress on a wooden platform. The room rate includes a full "Turkish Breakfast" with a bewildering assortment of foods. We had a dinner at the hotel and, while a tad more expensive than it would have cost in town, was simple, but delicious. As in most Turkish restaurants, you’ll be eating in the company of a bunch of cats – more pleading than aggressive when asking for a handout.

It's an amazing place to spend a family vacation! After just several days of staying there, we decided to extend our stay. We returned several months later for another vacation, and now we're already planning our next visit. The bungalows provide enough privacy and comfort, and are located neatly in a garden full of orange trees and beautiful flowers, with hedgehogs roaming over the lawns in the evening. You can relax in hammocks and enjoy the starry nights. The village around doesn't have any light pollution, so the night sky is clear and bright. Families with kids will be happy to discover a large playground in the backyard, complete with swings, a slide, and sandbox. The facility is located away from the main street, making it quiet, but it's only a 5-minute walk to the nearest shop and a 10-minute walk to the beach. The parking space is convenient and under video surveillance, and the hosts also provide free bicycles for you and your kids. The rooms have everything you need, including beach towels, and the pension has its own section of the beach with sunbeds and umbrellas. There are restaurants within walking distance, but the provided breakfasts are great, so you don't need to think about going anywhere else in the morning. The owners can also serve dinner upon prior request. There's also a fridge on-site with a selection of beer and beverages available. The hosts are really helpful, friendly, and welcoming, making you feel right at home. They can also share their knowledge of the area around and give you the best advice on where to eat or what is best to visit now. Try their homemade pomegranate juice, it's really delicious. The rooms are spacious enough with air conditioning and safe lockers.

Such a tranquil and lovely place to say, with chickens roaming; orange trees; hammocks and endless herbal teas and pomegranates to enjoy. The breakfasts were excellent and Katerina and her husband such kind, lovely hosts. Highly recommend!

This is a wonderful place in a wonderful village. The pension is very well located in a quieter part of the beach. The hosts, Dolmush and Katerina, are very hospitable. Breakfasts are excellent. There are bikes to use. Just make sure you bring some earplugs, as numerous village's roosters wake up really early.

A peaceful and lovely place between beautiful plants and trees. Free bicycles to reach beach and it is 3-4 mins away. Tasty breakfast and dinner, owners are very friendly and helpful. I will definitely come back again and again. Strongly recommended!

Very nice place with heartful atmosphere! Green, quiet and cozy. And most important are people in this hotel. I felt myself like a part of family! They are very friendly and caring. And food is very delicious! It was one of the best staying in hotel in my life! Thank you!
