I liked the spacious communal areas. But my room was perpetually at 30 degrees Celsius in spite of it only being 25 outside. I had to have the window and door open the whole time to get a through draft, which didn't leave me much privacy. I think it may be to do with some large washing machines nearby, but a staff member told me that all rooms were like this. I don't know. There was no fan or AC, so it's really not acceptable.

The owner was very cruel to his young staff and use them unfortunately. As a human and psychologist l couldn't ignore it. I felt pitty toward them

Perfectly functional 2* hotel located a long walk or a short taxi ride from Doğubayazit centre. Used before and after a Mt Ararat climb.
Reception and staff were very helpful.
Despite a varied dinner menu, only 4 or 5 dishes were actually available from it. So the choice was limited. The food quality was OK though. Breakfast was pretty average though.
But that feeds through to price, so it is a relatively good value place to stay.

We have searched a lot in Dogubayazit and we will find the Ertur Hotel the best one in the city. Although the rooms and food could be more better, we enjoyed our stay there a lot.

Location was easy to get to as I navigated from the center of Doğubeyazıt. It is well maintained. It reminds me of a Turkish style mountain town inn like those I've been to in parts of Europe and North America. The views of Mt Ararat in the background makes up the ambience of the hotel. The inhouse cafe was wonderful and met my needs even though it was closed at the hour of my arrival. I was made to feel appreciated during every interaction I had with the staff.

All I can tell is such a wonderful place to stay. Nice and clean friendly staff ,always kind and professional . Anything you need they are there for you . It is my first experience here never gonna be last . Let me tell you how great was the cuisine outstanding ,delicious made freshly every day iam in hospitality business and I know they use the best quality product. They have hot,cold,non alcoholic and alcoholic beverages. I have to say too to the bottom top notch service. Alis was the best server with a beautiful smile .

I spent 4 days in the hotel, but I didn't get new towels to dry off after showering.
Internet on the first and second floor is very bad.
The service is very decent, but if most of their guests are mountaineers going to Ararat, it would be good if they knew the basics of the English language.
The offer of dishes for breakfast and lunch is very poor, a little more offer is needed.
The price of the stay is expensive and not relevant with the hotel's offer.

Clean and comfy Hotel, good base if you are hungry to summit Ararat. You can see the mountain from your window and the parking lot.

It is clean, wonderful staff, good food. Location is a bit out of town and noisy.
