If you’re English and you don’t smoke I don’t recommend you come here.
They allow smoking in the (albeit very nice with a fire in the middle) chalet bar which totally wrote off any chance of us spending any time in there because it stinks.
But you’re in the middle of nowhere. You can’t go to another bar.
So 2 working channels on the tv in the room it is.
The service in the bars/restaurant are veeeeeeeeery bad. On average 30 mins to get served. They all just stand talking in the corner. Except for one guy who does all th work.
You have no control over the thermostat in the room, and it hits 25-27 degrees. Window open constantly which when there’s a blizzard is less than ideal. There’s no need for any room or communal area to be this hot. They say it’s because it’s a winter hotel but that makes no sense. No other winter hotel is this hot. Surely find a comfortable temp which combats the outside elements but doesn’t boil your guests.
On the plus side, the bed was comfy, and the on site ski slope was nice for beginners. The free shuttle to the main area was a nice touch although very infrequent towards the end of the day.
The gym is really reasonable and the equipment looks good quality. Even has Pilates equipment.
The swimming pool and sauna steam bath etc are all well put together with a stunning view of the mountain but very annoying you have to wear an unsightly swimming cap for reasons unknown.
It has soooooo much potential. Just needs some fine tuning. And some weird backdated rules changing (smoking, swimming cap…)

We stay at this hotel during end of January, the hotel was all in one you can just go to backside of the hotel it has already ski slope (beginner), ski rental and store also available on the ground floor.
We took Junior suite room and it was amazing room with balcony facing Erciyes mountain.

The rooms are incredible, so is the service. If you are going there in a low season, there are things to consider:
1) we were there in 2-3 April and it was too hot for us. Because here is a winter hotel, there’s no air conditioning and no option to turn off the heater. We had the windows open all the time which meant more noise
2) since there was almost no one in the hotel, there was no open buffet breakfast, which makes sense. Even though there was no open buffet breakfast we received full breakfast free of charge, of course, but we just wish this would have been communicated to us in advance before we walked into an empty kitchen.
3) please clean the pool windows, such a nice view is ruined by the smudge on the windows

The worst possible customer service I have ever experienced, the list of issues we had with service at this hotel goes a mile long. I will definitely not recommend this place to anyone from the UK or any other English speaking country. Impossible to stay here unless you speak Turkish and the staff are incredibly untrained. A simple thing such as replacing coffee mugs in the room each morning or replacing the complimentary water in the room is not done, you have to ask. It seems as though there is no management here and the staff have no idea what to do. It’s frustrating when you paying high euro prices with service you would not even get at a one star ski resort in Europe.

We were served by Sefa for lunch. Very friendly, kind, and speaks English which is a great plus for tourists. Fast service, clean and good food overall. I highly recommend

The staff were amazing, Very grateful to Sefa Bey, he took great care with us in the restaurant. Also rooms were great, open pool with the mountain view is an experience that you can not have everywhere and the ski room has really advanced gear If you want to rent your own.
