True Blue Boutique Hotel Kalkan

We were planning a holiday at the last minute and we came across with True Blue! I believe True Blue is the kind of place which have a soul! Rooms are designed with love and enchanting breakfasts... I went there with my family and I felt like a family vibe in there! Zehra Hanım was very lovely chef and her recipes made from nothing but love.:) Sara Hanım was very sincere and we made very good connection with her. Büşra Hanım made delicious coffee to me and my sister. We were very thankful to spend our holiday True Blue. I recommend this place to people who wants to spend very quality time with quality people and service. They deserve big appreciation. Thank you for your perfect hosting. See you next time.!

My family and I ended up in true blue after a few unfortunate hotel stays in Antalya.. true blue team made it all up for us!! What a place, what a team.

To start, the location is perfect, with safe parking spaces, the facility is immaculate with a special like home vibe, not to mention the great home cooked dishes they serve.

Most importantly, the family feeling there staff provide, from the owner to all the staff to include their lovely dog Puto. Tuba and Sara and everyone else took great care of is and made us feel connected to a bigger family. The place and the vibe is magical to touch the true value of traveling of meeting new people and learning a new culture. Their great spirit spread to all guests to a point where you feel sad a guest is leaving !!!

The greatest overall experience we had in Turkey and we will definitely be back there to our home away from home, and our beloved friends.

We've stayed many times in Kalkan but tried the True Blue Hotel in the quieter Kalamar area this time. So happy we did!
From when we were welcomed at 2AM by Rafi to the moment we left our stay was brilliant. Our room, a stone house studio was perfect for our needs, very spacious and decorated beautifully, modern with a nice outside patio area.
The hotel is located away from the main centre. Rafi was at hand every evening to call a taxi which only takes about 5 mins to arrive and the same to ferry into town. Don't let this put you off staying here because coming back to the hotel and sitting on our quiet patio was lovely after being in the busy old town.
Breakfast's were great, lots of homemade jams, cakes freshly made every day and eggs cooked to your choice.
With the ever increasing prices in Kalkan for eating and drinking the prices for lunch and drinks at True Blue are lower than anywhere we found which was great when we stayed round the pool.
The pool area is very pretty with cabana style beds in the shade which were welcome in the July heat. The hotel was full while we were staying, maybe a few additional sunbeds in the busy months would we welcome for guests, we struggled a few days to secure beds. However Rafi did let us know we were welcome to use their sister hotel Payava nearby which we did one day and there are 3 beach clubs nearby as well.
What makes the hotel special are the lovey staff, we had a fantastic stay and would look at booking again when we return to Kalkan.

Cannot fault our stay at True Blue. 8 nights of bliss which was made easy and effortless by the staff.
The breakfast is lovely; my boyfriend had a fresh omelette everyday… not to mention the delicious continental products, the coffee, juice, fresh fruit and vegetables.
The swimming pool area is immaculate, you never have to fight for a bed and there are multiple options from standard sun loungers to swings, double beds in the shade, sofas if you just want to sit for lunch and/or a drink.
The pool bar serves fantastic drinks both alcoholic and non alcoholic! The frozen fruit drinks are to die for… I think I had at least one a day! The food is also really good and just makes life easier to have a nice lunch at your hotel when you’re already going out for dinner everyday and choosing different places to go.
The bar staff really go the extra mile to make sure you’re comfortable.

Our room was beautiful. I’m almost dreading going back to my bed at home seeing as our bed here was so comfortable. The shower had both a high and low power shower, plenty of space in the room for all of our clothes and to get ready everyday, tea and coffee making facilities, a gorgeous balcony with beautiful views of the sea. The list is never ending!

I also really appreciate how the room is cleaned slightly later in the morning too as there’s nothing worse than being woken up by housekeeping when you’re on holiday; by the time we’d got up and out for breakfast, we’d come back to a lovely clean and fresh room everyday.

The location is perfect as it’s about a twenty minute walk or five minute taxi into main Kalkan. I would most definitely come back here and will recommend to anyone visiting the area.

Fantastic stay at the True Blue. Clean and spacious rooms with fantastic views, a superb breakfast and a lovely pool. Great location near a couple of quieter beach clubs and some good local restaurants if you don't want to go into Kalkan.
Staff were brilliant - nothing was too much trouble.
We'll definitely be back.

My girlfriend and I took a trip to Kalkan recently, and we couldn't have been happier with our stay at True Blue. The room was spacious, and had a great view of the ocean. The pool and the surrounding area was really comfortable, and we really enjoyed hanging out there in the day. We're really excited to return to True Blue in the coming years. Thank you again!

this is beyond our expectations!

We rented a villa (4 rooms) for one night, but we liked it so much that we extended the house. Wonderful house, there is a coffee machine, washing machine, sun terrace, jacuzzi, barbecue area, table outside, sitting area on the terrace, two toilets in the house and a large living room.

The owners, two beautiful girls and the dog Pako, made us fall in love with them.

Good value for money with exceptional service from the team. Very friendly and helpful. Close to two or three beach clubs but steep climbs back up. Great pool area if you're not up for the walk. Also close to supermarket. 1.5km from Kalkan harbor so short taxi ride or 25min walk. Rooms are perfect for families and couples. Tasty breakfast @ €10. If you like the quieter side of Kalkan this spot is perfect.

A small hotel so not busy. Breakfast is good. Rooms are comfortable. Friendly and helpful staff. On the edge of Kalkan so quieter than downtown. A few good restaurants nearby.

Stayed for a week in the True Blue, an excellent experience. The hotel is spread over a few low buildings grouped roughly around the swimming pool, offering a variety of different room sizes. Our room was end to end equipped with Ikea furniture, modern and comfortable.
The breakfast is superb, offering a broad spread of fresh local produce and freshly baked stuff. Eggs are produced to order and delivered to your table by the super friendly staff.
The location of the hotel is a short walk up a steap hill from the nearest "beach club". The entire shore in this area is rocky, and all access to the sea is from platforms over the rocks. The nearest real beach is in Patara, or the Kalkan municipal beach, both requiring a short trip by car. The center of Kalkan is some 2.5km away.

A few points of critique:
Bathrooms are very dark, the feeble lights over the mirror are no help at all.
As with many places in Turkey, street dogs are a common nuisance and will frequent the terrace. A little gate to keep them off the terrace would be great
